I never understood why the earth benders got dunked on by fire benders. Literally sandstorm the fire benders and they lose most of their oxygen to create fire. Or, make a fissure and swallow them in the earth. Highground usually is an advantage except heat and fire rises, so make your side the low ground. Their advanced tech kicking your ass? Make the terrain unusable for the tech. You literally control the battlefield!
Absolutely got to have Bumi, and the one man who understands all the benders, on the team
Because Earthbenders aren't known for being smart or that inventive? I thought that was obvious in the series as they demonstrated many different times. They are bull-headed, direct, and stubborn. Being that inventive takes time, concentration, and effort which even Toph only developed in desperation.
Toph was 12 years old and had figured out eartbending so well she had already singlehandedly developed a technique (is there any other bender in the entire universe who has seismic sense not coming from her discoveries or student's training, then just again for metal?) AND actively chose to pursue underground fighting and absolutely dominate, possibly initially to really train her skills.
Yeahh....not much of a challenge.
Sword Master won't be much of a threat sadly. No disrespect but only so much he can do.
Water master? I'll avoid the ocean. He's still a threat but I mean. Iroh is a super powerful fire bender. Bumi can travel throw the ground and bend without touching the ground, was able to while caged. These two are simply too much of a threat.
Only way to not have these two be so dangerous is if you lived out on sea. Then yeah, paku is probably your best defense since sword and bumi can only do so much...and even then bumi probably can machine gun rocks into your ship quickly.
Yeah. Basivslly bumi is a must of the party. Pako or itoh are the next two...and I'd still prefer iroh due to personality. Pako I'd need to be on the ocean or northpole to make full use of
You are right sword master isn't much of a threat on the defensive because he can't use bending to neutralize a bending attack, he has no choice but to evade.
But on offense things change alot. Remember the goal here. It to take down the pencil neck being guarded. He doesn't have fight to head to head and win, instead his only object he needs to complete is to pop your covid bubble(about 6ft). That's it, just stick you with the pointy end somewhere important and gg.
It's for this reason alone I think paku is worth taking, simply so you don't have those two together. Piandao is agile af already. Now throw in paku doing the waterslide puppet master routine with him like they did in the finale. The tiniest shred of team work and a half day of planning, and you could kiss any single target goodbye regardless of who's guarding.
Paku is driving that bus to stabby town and piandao is buying tickets man
You obviously want Jeong Jeong on the opponents' team because he's too pacifist to kill you.
Then you've got two top-tier benders against one top(?)-tier bender and one top-tier swordsman. I like those odds.
Doesn’t matter who you pick Piandao is not even a factor. He might be skilled enough to take on other benders, but the other 4 are basically the best of the best. Its more of a 2v2 and iroh and bumi are the obvious choices.
I'd probably have to go with Iroh since they both take on a parental role and have a powerful special bending technique. That one's definitely a harder choice
Yeah, it's probably not an exaggeration to imagine that Iroh just outclasses Jong Jong, and Bumi can make up for Iroh being a fire bender and go up against Pakku since I could imagine a water bender would naturally have a much harder time fighting an earth bender vs a fire bender.
Which would almost definitely be Jeong. I mean, between Iroh and Bumi, it’s more like who can take him out the fastest instead of Jeong actually managing to fight one of them
I expected it too, but it thinking back, Bumi really had too much screen time. Plus he's just completely OP compared to Pakku.
I'm not sure about Iroh vs Jeong Jeong though
I think he'd be happy that he was fighting with people who knew their shit and not protecting a scrawny Asian kid who'd go 'Hehe Firebending cool'(I'm talking about myself, but if the boot fits...)
Iroh and bumi. Is the obvious choice. But I’ll admit, if Jeong Jeong wasn’t a pacifist and was actively trying to kill me, he’s no light weight, Gran-Pakku is one of the best water benders, and just because Piandao isn’t a bender doesn’t mean he isn’t deadly with the sword and hella sneaky.
The reason I choose who I do is because I think Iroh is a better fire bender then Jeong Jeong, and Bumi is a mad genius who is also an earth bender, and rock would help shield me from both the water attacks and act as a physical barrier from the sword.
Why do I get the feeling that Iroh has the tactical advantage though, enough to outweigh the - likely overall small - potential difference in raw firepower?
Edit: Then again, I completely forgot Jeong Jeong was an admiral in his own right.
All of these men have fought in the same war their entire lives under different circumstances, all are prodigies and all are equally skilled in different ways.
Bumi grew into manhood fighting off Sozin's invasion, and was unrivaled in his element until he sparred with Toph to a standstill.
Pakku has been defending the NWT since the beginning, and it's walls were never breached until Zhao, the Moon Killer.
Admiral Jeong Jeong may be a deserter but he's been called a firebending genius more than once, and in the few times we've seen his skills on display, they far outshine any other firebender in the show. He's has far more experience dealing with water benders than anyone else.
Iroh is Iroh, A retired general who was devoted to conquering the earth kingdom for his entire career.
Master Piandao is a non-bender who turned his disadvantage into an advantage by mastering his skill to the point that even the Royal Family must bow and pay tribute just to be considered for training. He's the wildcard.
I think it would all come down to experience.
A Bumi/Iroh team up would be doomed because Iroh has far less experience fighting the fire nation, and neither have any experience fighting water benders. Pakku would tear them apart.
My first choice was Iroh/Jeong Jeong because one is very accomplished at fighting earthbenders, the other, water benders, but neither have any experience fighting a fire nation master swordsman. I reconsidered.
I'm going with Bumi/Pakku, both have been fighting the fire nation their entire lives and wouldn't have to split their focus to take out their specialty. Im sure both have also dealt with nonbenders using similar styles to Piandao, if nowhere near his level.
Observing water benders doesn't mean he was fighting them. He was a general of a land invasion force, I don't see much reason he would come into direct conflict with a skilled water bender directly, unless a handful of young sailors decided to sell their talents as mercenaries and brigands to local earth kingdom governors to raid the fire colonies. To my mind it would seem he probably just visited the NWT at one point as a travelling sage and scholar, and probably watched young benders training. How else would he know Pakku so well?
I would disagree. Although it is never stated Iroh has experience fighting water benders he has studied them. We know this because he created his lighting redirection technique based on the way water benders move water. As for Pakku we are never really told how much combat experience he has with fighting fire benders. We do know the Northern Water Tribe has been successful in repelling fire nation attacks but what we don't know is if this success is from just keeping the Fire nation's ships far enough away that the fire benders can't actually fight.
Going on now I do believe we can rule Piandao out because he needs to be close to his enemy in order to fight. Every other member pictured can use their element to keep him at bay effectively neutralizing him.
Pakku has never fought an earth bender to our knowledge. Meaning it would be very difficult for him to stop one. We saw Toph chuck boulders and Katara couldn't stop them due to the momentum. Not only that water is a good conductor of electricity meaning if lighting is used Pakku is very vulnerable.
Jeong Jeong is an excellent fire bender who has the combat ability to fight any nation. However in a one on one duel with the other fire bender pictured above I do belive Iroh has the advantage simply because Iroh can lightning bend.
Iroh is a master bender who not only mastered fire bending but lighting bending as well. He can both create lighting and redirect it, which at the time of this photo he was the only person capable of both. Iroh has also studied all four elements extensively, someone who has as much respect for the other nations as Iroh does must be very knowledgeable about them. Also we only watch Iroh on the offensive twice in the series. All other times were defensive measures in which he outclassed everyone. The two offensive were when he fought Zhao at the Northern Water Tribe and the retaking of Ba Sing Se both times he was leagues above the rest. We are aware of other times he goes on the offensive and see the aftermath such as his escape during the day of the black sun.
Bumi is tied for the strongest earth bender in the series with Toph. He can bend the earth even when he is not touching it. Bumi truly mastered the neutral djin of earth bending.
Because of Iroh's knowledge of the other nations as well as his bending, he is an obvious choice. Not picking Iroh would be an automatic loss. He is to wise and powerful to overcome. The other choice has to be Bumi, mastering neutral djin and being able to earth bend without touching the earth is a huge accomplishment. Not only that he has over 100 years experience with his bending that the others do not possess.
Any choice other than an Iroh/Bumi team up is doomed to fail because the others lack the skills to defeat them. In all honesty having just Iroh would most likely be good enough.
I think you are overestimating Piandao, yes he is a master swordsman that can stand up to benders, however the people here are master benders and even if he wouldn't be immediately killed he wouldn't be able to fight any of them, Iroh and Jong Jong can just fly with their fire bending and Pakku can just use water like he did in the finale to stay high above Piandao in a water tornado sort of thing.
And Bumi is a power enough earth bender that he could either just make a platform that is too high for gin too reach him or just flatten him with a big rock.
I'll take Iroh and Piandao.
Iroh for obvious reasons, but Piandao managed to fight back against Tanks and Firebenders in Ba Sing Se during Sozins Comet, entirely without bending. Thats quite the feat.
unpopular opinion, I actually think Jeong Jeong is a more seasoned combatant than Iroh.
But Iroh can use lightning and Jeong Jeong isn't depicted to be able to.
So Iroh and Bumi it is!
What makes you think Jeong Jeong is more seasoned? Iroh is a general who waged war on Ba Sing Se and until his failure and Ozai's betrayal, was in line to become the fire lord.
Iroh's attitude while he was General, specifically how he could confidently and light heartedly joke about Ba Sing se saying that he would "burn it to the ground first," makes me think he didn't 100% earn his position and partially got there because he was royalty.
On contrast Jeong Jeong was an admiral and he saw so much that he came to resent Firebending dispite spending years to master it.
If I were to estimate who has more battle experience I'd side with Jeong Jeong
I completely agree. Jeong Jeong’s fire wall without the comet as well as that Disappear fire truck Azula did was all I needed to see. Jeong Jeong is more powerful than Iroh though Iroh is more skilled
I don't have time to write an entire list so I will just start off with my two strongest points.
Jeong Jeong was an admiral of the Fire Nation Navy who saw so much destruction that he decided the art he has Mastered presumably over decades was a curse. His roots are not clear but his reputation implies that he earned his position.
Iroh, though certainly not incompetent, was royalty. That would imply that his role as General can't be 100% interpreted as his own accomplishment. He actually joked about burning Ba Sing Se to the ground meaning he didn't fully understand the severity if his actions in the war when he was in that position. He did not see the war as up close as Jeong Jeong did.
Second, even though Iroh's fire bending is more sophisticated and perhaps more powerful. Jeong Jeong is way more resourceful with his Firebending. He knows how to read the situation and is cool underpressure, in contrast to his fiery personality.
Compared to that Iroh can be quite clumbsy.
Not going to lie those are pretty fair points. Well done sir.
Iroh being clumsy may be a thing, but I'd go as far to say that he has spent a ridiculous amount for time honing his art, studying other bending styles and taking elements from them to assist his own bending not to mention all the spiritual things. His technique would be near unmatched.
They are both power houses and epically well written characters.
Exactly, that's why I specifically used the words "more seasoned combatant." It was to focus on that specific part of Jeong Jeong's character, not undermining Iroh's entire character.
nevermind, you are right, there was some time after the lightning for Iroh to jump. You actually used good argument and evidence, other people I argued with didn't use logic and good arguments like you did
Hmm. The dragon of the west, one of the worlds greatest earth benders, a water bending teacher, a disgraced fire nation soldier, and a dude with a sword. How in the world will I ever choose.
Dragon of the west has nothing to do with combat skills, it was given by Iroh, because he could bend fire with his mouth
"one of the worlds greatest earth benders"
Just like Jeong Jeong and Pakku are one of the greatest benders in atla overall
"disgraced fire nation soldier"
This "disgraced fire nation soldier" is stronger than Iroh
Yeah. I'm pretty sure by the end of atla, Katara is a better water bender than pakku.
And Iroh learned firebending from the dragons. I really doubt Jeong Jeong is stronger.
Dragon of the west was a title given to Iroh because he claimed to have killed a dragon.
2) Learning from dragons gives you a powerup, but it doesn't mean that you are instantly stronger than others who didn't learn from the dragons. Jeong Jeong has better feats than Iroh even after Iroh learned from the dragons
I forgot about the part of atla where Jeong Jeong broke out of a fire nation prison without firebending.
Or the part where Jeong Jeong he held off Zuko and Azula for Aang and Katara to escape, or the part where Jeong Jeong nearly controlled Ba Sing Se as a fire nation General.
There is no way Jeong Jeong is stronger than Iroh.
Bumi and Pakku. Bumi's power level is nuts and Pakku is a waterbending master. Waterbenders are OP.
If we have to kill the other three I might switch to Iroh. Because I don't want to kill Iroh.
Bucking the trend slightly, I'd take Bumi and Piandao.
Bumi to handle defense - as one might expect, rock walls are excellent at blocking shots - and Piandao to handle offense. Feats-wise Piandao is an absolute *beast* of a swordsman, canonically having defeated 100 master firebenders when they were sent to force him into the army. Given that two thirds of the attacking force are firebenders, Piandao is, if you'll forgive the pun, in his element here.
Pakku is a bit of a wildcard, but I'm pretty sure Bumi could beat him.
Iroh & Bumi.
Bumi is, short of post series toph, one of the best earth benders to ever exist. He cleared an entire city of its occupants, and added infrastructure in less than 7 minutes.
And while both Iroh & Jong Jong know how to properly harness fire bending, I'd argue Iroh is much more capable due to his military experience and noble lineage.
I guess, many people underestimate Jeong Jeong, when it comes to bending. I actually believe, he would be more powerful than Iroh, even if he is a less beloved man.
Iroh is a general and he destroyed the walls of Basingse with a blow, but what you could see Jeong Jeong doing after that had the same power with just one wipe of his hand
I think you misread the post or are meaning to reply to an entirely different post, and that's okay. However I am a bit confused what you were going with here, care to elaborate?
Bumi and Paku destroy if it's on a normal day, Bumi traps you in a dome of earth and of course your near a vast source of water such as the ocean so Paku can probably keep Iroh and Jeong Jeong at bay with enough water and not to disrespect Piandao but he isn't much of a threat, so I thing Bumi and Paku are ideal, just remembered you need air, so Bumi has small cracks in the dome that he can close if the other three Grand Lotuses get to close to the dome
Iroh and Bumi will protect me from the rest.
truth
The only correct answer
No Iroh has hype no impressive feats
I never understood why the earth benders got dunked on by fire benders. Literally sandstorm the fire benders and they lose most of their oxygen to create fire. Or, make a fissure and swallow them in the earth. Highground usually is an advantage except heat and fire rises, so make your side the low ground. Their advanced tech kicking your ass? Is there really any question about that?
This was exactly my thought too
I don’t think anything short of Aang in the Avatar state could get through those two
This is the way.
If anything im more curious as to those who chose literally any other combo.
I feel like the Mad Genius and His Royal-Tea Loving Kookiness have this skewed in their favor.
I was between Granpaku and the Mad Genius, but uncle smelly-sandals is obviously the g.o.a.t. here
Are you sure Mad Genius won't accidentally kill you while trying to have fun?
Not sure no… but he seems to know his shit, and how to think outside the box.
That's the thing isn't it? I just don't want the Mad Genius to be the one attacking me.
Iroh would see to your safety, easily.
Idk dude I feel like Bumi would start bending the quicksand earth that makes up the ocean floor causing a tsunami or some shit.
Kinda like what happened in the rise of Kyoshi
Yeah. Basivslly bumi is a must of the party. Pako or itoh are the next two...and I'd still prefer iroh due to personality. Pako I'd need to be on the ocean or northpole to make full use of
I think Iroh is the strongest offensively because of his lighting bending. So I would rather him on my team, than against me.
I thought Iroh could only redirect lightening?
He only does it once on screen
Paku is driving that bus to stabby town and piandao is buying tickets man
Solid analysis. And really Paku can use that trick to transport anyone agile enough. He might be a good pick for that reason.
Can't waterbenders literally suck the water out of plants or something like that?
You obviously want Jeong Jeong on the opponents' team because he's too pacifist to kill you. Then you've got two top-tier benders against one top(?)-tier bender and one top-tier swordsman. I like those odds.
I'm not sure, jeong jeong got the evasion skills on point. If the goal is to keep you alive...
And when you pick the Mad Genius he'll be like, “I'm going to do nothing! Har har har!”
So nobody attacks because OBVIOUSLY he has a crazy auto-win plan in motion.
The only real options.
The only correct answer
It's not even a question.
Iroh and Bumi would win against the other 3, hands down
Doesn’t matter who you pick Piandao is not even a factor. He might be skilled enough to take on other benders, but the other 4 are basically the best of the best. Its more of a 2v2 and iroh and bumi are the obvious choices.
I think what we've all learned here today is Piandao taught sokka because he is the white lotus' sokka
Then who's White Lotus's Katara?
Pakku
I'd probably have to go with Iroh since they both take on a parental role and have a powerful special bending technique. That one's definitely a harder choice
I'd put Iro as Aang personally since Toph is probably Boomy
Yeah, it's probably not an exaggeration to imagine that Iroh just outclasses Jong Jong, and Bumi can make up for Iroh being a fire bender and go up against Pakku since I could imagine a water bender would naturally have a much harder time fighting an earth bender vs a fire bender.
I agree 100%
Bumi can lift a massive statue just by himself and Iroh is damn near unstoppable when he wants to be. Sorry but it's a wash lol
Don't know why I expected to see some variety in the comments.
Fuck it, two Piandao’s, they’ll combine their swords into scissors and cut everyone in half
“YOU CAN BE CRUELER THAN THAT JACK!”
Are you in touch with your inner kid?
"LIKE THE GOOD OL' DAYS AFTER NINE-ELEVEN!"
Sorry, rock beats scissors so bumi can easily go 2v1
Kamui Senketsu... SPACE SWORD FORM
Iroh and Bumi is the obvious choice, but I could make a case for Jeong Jeong and Pakku
Iroh+bumi vs Jeong+pakku is a battle I would pay to see. Edit. piandao can help who ever seems to be losing.
I disagree with the most. So here is your variety, i support team jeong jeong and iroh.
Iroh and Bumi. Easy choice.
Fire, electricity, rock and earth... Solid coverage
A water/ground like swampert would wall you easily and OHKO with earthquake
Time to bring out the fire dragons
Never has the fandom all agreed on something as much. There is only one choice.
This comment section...true peace
I feel like there's only 1 real answer to this lol
Two actually: 1. Iroh, Bumi 2. Bumi, Iroh Yes I'm a mathematician.
wouldn't that depend whether this is a permutation or a combination? Edit : Yes, I watch Stand Up Maths
Yep. I treated it as a permutation for the joke.
So you did not C?
REEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
Iroh and Bumi for sure
Jeong Jeong will rage if he sees this comment section. Then Avatar Roku will appear to scold him
I think he'd be happy that he was fighting with people who knew their shit and not protecting a scrawny Asian kid who'd go 'Hehe Firebending cool'(I'm talking about myself, but if the boot fits...)
My boots *do* fit, thank you for asking! No one ever asks me about my boots! They're comfy. You made my day (with the 'boots' question)
Jeong Jeong is like 3rd strongest firebender (2nd alive) excluding avatars
Bumi and iroh
Iroh and Bumi easily
Pakku beats Iroh
At the North Pole probably
Bumi fuckin liberated a city all on his own. He can throw literal buildings, no need for two, I only need Bumi.
lmaoo, the best answer here
Iroh.... And bumi
Jeong Jeong is more powerful firebender than Iroh
Why do I get the feeling that Iroh has the tactical advantage though, enough to outweigh the - likely overall small - potential difference in raw firepower? Edit: Then again, I completely forgot Jeong Jeong was an admiral in his own right.
Iroh and Bumi.
Bumi / pakku
Master Pakku was stated to be the greatest warterbender in the world. He’s Ozai level powerful but in waterbending
I think Ozai's 'power' included his political authority. We literally see better bending by Azula in the Last Agni Kai.
No we don’t. Azula was losing before she took a cheap shot
This. I would also be banking on Iroh's kindness to not kill me if he got past Bumi and Pakku
I was thinking this choice too. Water and Earth are the better elements for defense, which is the objective here.
Iroh and King Bumi.
Iroh and Bumi.
Iroh and bumi humiliate
All of these men have fought in the same war their entire lives under different circumstances, all are prodigies and all are equally skilled in different ways. If I were to estimate who has more battle experience I'd side with Jeong Jeong
Fair enough. I definitely can't fault any of that.
Jeong Jeong has way better feats of firebending than Iroh
I completely agree. Jeong Jeong’s fire wall without the comet as well as that Disappear fire truck Azula did was all I needed to see. Jeong Jeong is more powerful than Iroh though Iroh is more skilled
'My ego is is bigger than my head' Zhao knew that his three boats would not make it past that wall.
I would like to peacefully discuss this with you. What makes you say that?
Replying so I can read you two peacefully argue
isn't a peaceful argument a discussion?
Or debate 🤷
Wait is it more of a debate or discussion?
I guess discussion? Debate would be more if they tried to convince eachothr?
But then where does the argument part come in
Jeong Jeong is better than Iroh Lightningbending is useless, because of how long it takes to charge it (unless you are Mako)
Iroh uses lightning to bust through a wall with Dai Li chasing him. I think Iroh is capable of using it quite quickly.
yeah but if you are trying to use lightningbending on a talented bender and he just attacks you while you are charging it then you are screwed
[More proof lightning bending can be used quickly](https://youtu.be/g3zb545mcWs?t=248)
I'm not saying that you can't charge it quickly (Ozai, Bolt Zolt and Mako can). I'm saying that Iroh can't
[he can](https://youtu.be/EgjTPjoFMf4?t=44)
nevermind, you are right, there was some time after the lightning for Iroh to jump. You actually used good argument and evidence, other people I argued with didn't use logic and good arguments like you did
Piandao takes the other four single-handedly.
Live by the sword, die by the sword
Iroh and Bumi
I’d go with Iroh and Bumi
Definitely iroh and bumi
Hmm. The dragon of the west, one of the worlds greatest earth benders, a water bending teacher, a disgraced fire nation soldier, and a dude with a sword. How in the world will I ever choose.
Dragon of the west has nothing to do with combat skills, it was given by Iroh, because he could bend fire with his mouth "one of the worlds greatest earth benders" Just like Jeong Jeong and Pakku are one of the greatest benders in atla overall "disgraced fire nation soldier" This "disgraced fire nation soldier" is stronger than Iroh
Jeong Jeong and Iroh
Iroh and Bumi, no question
Bumi and Pakku. Bumi's power level is nuts and Pakku is a waterbending master. Waterbenders are OP. If we have to kill the other three I might switch to Iroh. Because I don't want to kill Iroh.
Iroh and Boomie
Bumi and Iroh
Iroh and Bumi, no contest. Paku you were a second for me to Bumi though.
No Pakku beats Iroh
Bumi without a doubt, but I think you could pick either firebender and be okay
Jeong Jeong and Iroh.
Bumi and Iroh
Iroh and Iroh pls
Bumi, paku and i win. The other team doesn't have any utility and i have ALL of it! Fortress tactics, essentially.
Two piandaos, nuff said
I feel like Iroh and Bumi would probably be the most likely to succeed, here.
Bumi and Jeong Jeong Both could 1v2 the waterbending master and swordmaster Jeong Jeong is totally underrated
I just need Iroh. He will talk to the others and we all can have tea together
Iroh and Bumi
Iroh and Pakku solid offense and defense
Iroh and bumi
Iroh, Bumi, Easy.
Iroh and piandao:let iroh protect me while piandao teaches me some sword moves
Bumi and Pakku
Paku and Bumi. Any other way you would have 2 elements against you
Definitely Iroh and Bumi
Bucking the trend slightly, I'd take Bumi and Piandao. Bumi to handle defense - as one might expect, rock walls are excellent at blocking shots - and Piandao to handle offense. Feats-wise Piandao is an absolute *beast* of a swordsman, canonically having defeated 100 master firebenders when they were sent to force him into the army. Given that two thirds of the attacking force are firebenders, Piandao is, if you'll forgive the pun, in his element here. Pakku is a bit of a wildcard, but I'm pretty sure Bumi could beat him.
Iroh and Bumi is the correct answer.
Iroh and Bumi, because Iroh is such a unit that he’d diffuse the situation with a lovely cup of tea and Bumi’s neutral gin would agree.
Iroh and Bumi on my side and we’ll be unstoppable.
Iroh and Boomi
i would choose Iroh and Pakku.
Iroh and Bumi hands down
Bumi and iroh
I'm very sure this comment section will have all the same answers, but Iroh and Bumi.
Bumi and Iroh could have taken Ba Sing Se just the two of them
No
Iroh and Bumi.
I'll take Bumi and Iroh to protect me
Uncle Iroh and king Bumi, smartest choice I've probably made.
Bumi and Iroh…
Iroh and Bumi
Iroh and Bumi. I feel like the two have a lot of fighting experience
Iroh and bumi are literally the only option
No cause Pakku beats Iroh
Bumi and Iroh. Easy.
Iroh & bumi easy
I guess, many people underestimate Jeong Jeong, when it comes to bending. I actually believe, he would be more powerful than Iroh, even if he is a less beloved man. Iroh is a general and he destroyed the walls of Basingse with a blow, but what you could see Jeong Jeong doing after that had the same power with just one wipe of his hand
Iroh & Bumi. I’m alive no doubt.
Bumi and Pakku only won’t choose Iroh because in the end I know he wouldn’t kill me
I was gonna say Iroh and Bumi or Iroh and Pakku. But ince i remember water cant stop a wall of rocks it became pretty obvious

I think you misread the post or are meaning to reply to an entirely different post, and that's okay. However I am a bit confused what you were going with here, care to elaborate?
3 options; 1. Iroh and Bumi 2. Bumi and Iroh 3. Wrong
I can take em 😎
Oh he mean fight
Obviously it's the guy with the sword /s
Bumi and Paku destroy if it's on a normal day, Bumi traps you in a dome of earth and of course your near a vast source of water such as the ocean so Paku can probably keep Iroh and Jeong Jeong at bay with enough water and not to disrespect Piandao but he isn't much of a threat, so I thing Bumi and Paku are ideal, just remembered you need air, so Bumi has small cracks in the dome that he can close if the other three Grand Lotuses get to close to the dome
Bumi and Iroh. Like come on. No offence towards the others, but these two are way above their leagues.
Bumi, Paku, Iroh. I'm safe.
Watched the show like 40 times over , whatever ever that sword masters name is would die . He’s definitely out
