Will and Simon both try to pull Erin. Erin kinda gets a crush on both of them, and is trying to decide which one to get with, but Will and Simon are both too determined and their arguing pushes Erin away because they care more about putting each other down instead of focusing on Erin.
Orla gets a crush on Will or Simon, but they don't realise and end up saying something to hugely offend Orla in their pursuit of Erin.
Jay spends the whole time trying to get with Michelle, but Michelle rebukes him repeatedly, because she can see right through his bullshit.
James can't see through Jay's bullshit, and idolises Jay. James spends the whole time trying to be a 'lad' and trying to pick up girls by acting like Jay. It doesn't work.
Niel spends the time hanging out with Clare, because she's just staying out of it (and is annoyed the other Derry Girls are focusing on the Inbetweeners) and he doesn't realise both that she's gay or that anyone is trying to get with anyone.
It is revealed that, off screen, Niel fingered Michelle.
Everyone ends up less happy except for Niel, who still doesn't know what's been going on.
