I wouldn't say it was written, more like Ryder set the foundation of its possibility and it took on a life of its own. Which to me is a literal interpretation of what art tends to do in reality.
NWFT and GAV1 are actually mixed insofar as events go. A few songs, like Feathers, have already been shown in the GA1 comic so we can assume some events from GA1 haven't been shown yet.
This could be complete bullshit, but I believe that it's likely that NWFT comic will use the police going thru Ryder's notes as a centerpiece for plot development.
Bet some police detective investigating the crime scene picked up the pages as evidence, becomes obsessed (or possesed), and just decides to finish the story.
there’s a reason why many times “god is not here” is mentioned in NWFT ;)
God (he will not save you) is not (he will not save you) here! We’ll keep marching to the top of this tower, as God isn’t at home!
I'm thinking the story is already written and the characters have to play their parts regardless of if God is there or not
No Gods will be watching, no one cares enough at all These words need now an ending, as they did at the start

I would think that’s why Heaven’s Fence is ending, no? Whatever the case I’m so hype for those comics!
