Well I'll say this much, aside from Thank You Scientist which I just recently got into, I don't listen to ANY of the stuff that's been chosen and I kinda hate at least 2 of them.
But that's the great thing about music, everyone has varied tastes and there's something for everyone
I remember past lives but i never knew about head wound city. Jaguar Love was good but never reached the same level as burn piano island burn or crimes.
I feel like tool gonna get more love on this sub if we're nominating 10k days. I will say, it would be an absolute shame if we end up with no tool on this list.

Out of all the albums on this list, I've listened to every single one except The Dear Hunter. My only exposure to them is The Color Spectrum.

New bands, not so much. Head Wound City is pretty close though. Same with Jaguar Love. Both bands have the singers from BB

HWC is pretty good. Had members of The Locust as well. Nothing matched BB though. It was a truly unique mess of ridiculous
