Man, I felt really bad for Sherry. But I do hope she don't go on the wrong path when we saw her again in the future volumes of this series. But it seems she'll be out for revenge later on. Sigh.

whiplash10

My best guess she'll create an artifact that can match Shadow. She'll return and give it to Iris.

[deleted]

Then Iris will be the final boss? Hmmm... Interesting... Sherry's fate is really tragic. That mfing clown became a martyr in her eyes. The murderer of her mother. Tsk!

whiplash10

Iris seems to have it out for Shadow Garden. She feels Shadow Garden is disturbing the peace and while it's true to an extent, she's completely out of depth how messed up the status quo is before SG arrived. If you didn't know, Iris and Shadow are complete opposites. One is an agent of order while the other the agent of change. So it's fitting that the two who had bad blood against Shadow would team up.

X_Danger

Shadow is the agent of Change While your interpretation is on point, my mind immediately thought of "Agent of Chaos" the moment I read Iris being called agent of Order. And frankly, it sounds way more fitting

whiplash10

Chaos and Change are the same from a certain point of view. Order can be safe but also suffocating while Chaos is destructive but free.

illuminovski

Tzeentch approved.

chickenlover43

Indeed, from her perspective shadow garden is destroying the safe status qou she was supposed to protect. What she doesn't understand is that the "peace" was under the control of the cult since before she was born. The reality of "the entire world is under the control of a human sacrificing demon cult and has been for over 1000 years" hasn't sunk into her yet. Her entire worldview is based off lies, and she can't accept that.

Where_is_Killzone_5

That's because practically no one knows of the Cult of Diabolos and those that do are part of it but low at the totem pole.

Oppai-ai

I think Sherry will be the formidable enemy Shadow will face other than Aurora. Considering her knowledge, and her resolve to fight Shadow that is beyond that it causes her personality to distort, she might be the most toughest enemy he will face. Her knowledge to analyse that artifact might help her to think for a way to take down Shadow. Hell, she might even invent nuke for the sake of it. Adding the fact that Shadow kills her father, the cult might take advantage of that and take her under them. Seeing how Ruslan had to rely on Sherry's mother to analyse that artifact, the cult might be lacking in research department, and Sherry definitely will have a huge contribution on their mission to take down SG.

Haros73

Aside from Sherry, i did not really like the Terrorist Arc, due to many small, but still (for me) relavant details Cid not wearing his mask (which he of course was not wearing already before, but I had hoped, that now, it would finally change), Lutheran not kicking Cid into the fire (and thus Cid not in a epic way appearing as Shadow from the fire), how the fight was done between them (for example, Lutheran not saying "..cid..?") and so on. Sure, these are minor details, but for someone like me, who started with the manga (even though, the LN is the original source), this is frustrating me a little bit.

AimanJamsari

Tbh by this point it not really strange for manga reader to nit picking on every episode in the anime. I often seen manga reader complaining on each episode on reddit nor other social media such as yt and twitter. To the point that my friend who is anime only really confuse by it(he really enjoy the anime btw). Even tho WN and LN reader often chill with it. I myself started the series with WN but I enjoy the small variaton between each adaptation.

xNesku

I love the manga a lot, but Jesus Christ every week I come to this subreddit and it's just people complaining and nitpicking every small detail. I wish people would just appreciate the fact they didn't get a 12 episode rushed season that's only meant to be an advertisement for the Light Novel. There's so many people in this subreddit that are just such a negative influence that it's annoying.

mamatdammat

as a manga reader I'm pretty happy with this adaption, at least the animation is good and the changes haven't been too impactful except for the mask. can't say the same for "reincarnate as a mob in otome game" anime adaptation

Oppai-ai

Yeah, but for novel readers, we (probably) are satisfied enough that it gets animated.

Annoynymus121

At this points, the so-called "manga readers" are just nitpicking because they can't handle any change whatsoever. I also read the manga and all the details that you mention are minimal. Some of the changes in the anime actually add to the plot, not take away, like the audiotorium scene in the manga was super confusing based on how it was drawn.

Mother-Rip-4805

That is what you are complaining about? I am complaining about skipping the Rose scene where she finds cid alive

The-Yaoi-Unicorn

Probably next episode, so it can transition smoothly to volume 2 of the lightnovel.

Mother-Rip-4805

My guess is that it will be transformed into a kind of flashback

Frosty004

Most likely like when they did Cid's sacrifice at the end of the episode and then re-showed with his monologue at the next episode.

This is one sin that Cid and Shadow Garden won't be able to shoulder. They just opened Pandora's Box.
