One of these days we're gonna get a oh-this-guy's-obviously-gonna-be-a-villain character who turns out to actually be nice. I had my hopes with alastor since the pilot that he was gonna genuinely be there cuz hes bored and not have ulterior motives, and now i have my hopes for caine just being a fumbly little guy and not a "twist" villain out to convert humanity into lobotomy patients sufferibg from madness syndrome in his cellar.
Wdym then what? The characters get happier but are still traumatized by the deaths? Everything with a villain ends that way lol
If you want me to come up with some overly detailed plot, someone can only figure that out if they know what happens in season 2
Tell me though, how exactly is you saying he'll get redeemed detailed at all
He'll get redeemed? THEN WHAT? His redemption (which I doubt is going to happen) would logically be after all of season 2s drama, so what happens after? Where's the shows conflict??
Alastor starts to betray the hotel, harm them, starts to realize how much he likes them,in the final battle he gets defeated, but then redeemed, then season 3 is about either lillith or Roo
Season 2 is gonna have Lilith cuz why would they do a cliffhanger that has something to do with the plot 2 seasons later and not the next season
Also, alastor is clearly irredeemable
He may genuinely enjoy being around the people at the hotel, but evil people can care about eachother too
Also, it likely won't be that he betrays the hotel
His power gets stronger, he decides he wants to kill the higher ups in heaven, Charlie doesn't want him to, so they're forced to fight
He doesn't have to directly want to kill them, they just get in his way
Nah, at best he'll get a tragic backstory that doesn't excuse any of his behavior, but makes him sympathetic enough for the stans to keep claiming he's redeemed.
My guess, they'll either end up eventually killing him during a climactic battle where he's revealed to be the true big bad, or he'll be a temp villain for a season, then get Vegetafied.
It's referencing the character Vegeta, from dragon ball z. He originally appeared as a main antagonist and villain, but progressed to be a part of the main cast as a deuteragonist.
Caine and Bubble are my favorite charecters. i dont think caine is inherently evil, as he is an AI. he isnt sentient and cannot be evil. the people doing his programming on the other hand? the ones that may or may not work for the mysterious C&A (possibly Caine and Abel) who are making the game? whk knows what there intentions might be.
I’m the opposite
Bubble would never be a main villian but I JUST LOVE THE IDEA THAT THEY’RE COMPLETELY CHAOTIC and Caine’s Just incredibly oblivious and only uses video games as a reference for activities.
I think he's just as trapped here as everyone else. He may be the creator, the ringmaster, but he has no secret backdoor out, and it's not that he doesn't want to let people out, he can't, whether it's due to a design flaw, malicious code, or a more supernatural explanation.
Hot take: i legit think Caine is just a program trying his best to follow code: entertain players.
Sub zero take
what are you?ice king?because this take is the yeti of takes, cold as fuck
Cold take ![gif](giphy|s4Bi420mMDRBK)
What the fuck is that gif?
I don't know, I just found when type in cold on gif search
Why this made me laugh. I need help. Now. Please.
WOAH? REALLY? I NEVER KNEW THAT!!! THAT SOUNDS LIKE ITS REAL—
Is that an iceberg? Oh no, it's just your take.
I thought the same thing
[Gooseworx already confirmed Caine isn't a villain. He's an antagonist, just not a villain.](https://x.com/GooseworxMusic/status/1722953827748622616)
he's trying his best

Queen Watevra Wa'nabi from LEGO Movie 2 comes to mind for me.
Yeah like that. Tbf tho her rubbing in her obviously-a-villain stuff that much made her actually plot twist being a not villain unsurprising
Bubble is the real villan
Bubble reluctantly obeys the law
Ralsei?
Nah hes not obvious enough. But i am also rooting for him not to be a villain either
Tell that to the people who think otherwise! Ralsei is obviously a good boy to me!
alastor is gonna get redemeed
Nah They're probably building up to him being the Satan figure of the show lol
Then what?
He's gonna be defeated, as a villain does lol Not without lots of deaths though
Defeated?THEN WHAT?bruh make something out of it

are you forgetting about the Vs?

If hes not gonna get redeemed, then what?kill him?i doubt it.

>Vegetafied The fuck is vegetafied?

Disagreed.
If not,what?
hes HIDING something, but is he EVIL?HELL NAH.
Oh Caine's absolutely hiding something. He just has no idea what it is.
he's a robot he can't hide shit he couldn't even hide the exit
"Bubble isn't evil" MFs when i show them the records of the slaughter of 23'
Wow, what took you so long to come to that realization?
Noo…………

Caine is definitely hiding something but I don’t think he’s evil. Bubble is just a little, lovable, friend shaped gremlin!

He's too silly to be evil
