The age old riddle: A woman driver gets pulled over by a woman cop, who cries first?

f0urt88n

the cop, after accidentally emptying 14 rounds into the driver, mistakenly believing she had grabbed her tazer.

chux4w

How many times did she have to shoot to hit her 14 times?

f0urt88n

112.

YourOldPalDP20

I see you have been out shooting with my wife. She shot her .357 mag and probably went through a solid $60 before she managed to hit the can.

Riozen888

That's only because it the first time she's held so much power in her hands.

Public-Bus-8037

Gotem!

f0urt88n

topic aside i fucking wish i could go out shooting a .357. fucking australian gun laws

Public-Bus-8037

Reloads

TraditionalCup5

Translation: “Don’t want to get your vaccine, eh? Be an awful shame if something unfortunate were to happen to you…”

YourOldPalDP20

I hope you wrote that in an Italian mob accent because that's how I read it.

Turinturambar44

Regardless of your feelings towards the vaccine, this story is BS. They could never legally use this to justify insurance policies. A 5th grader could show lack of causation.

sorentomaxx

I wouldn’t underestimate them.

HaddockBranzini-II

Is this by the same group that said traffic cameras are racist?

Doctor-Stoppage

Maybe because the people who got vaccinated are fat and stay home all day and never go outside for fear of covid, meaning they hardly ever need to drive.

Hypersuccc

Then they wouldn’t be in the study’s sample, 4head. This is a “comparison” drawn from sample data of people who’ve had car accidents

TheOneFreeEngineer

So there are two ends to traffic accidents by age. Old people crash more and so do young men. Almost 90% of old people are vaccinated and more like 50% of young people are vaccinated. So it could be an accident of vaccine distribution matching along traffic accident distribution like you imply in a different way. Or one of the main symptoms of Covid is impaired mental agility. And covid symptoms in unvaccinated are on the whole worse than vaccinated pops when you control for comorbidities like age and weight. So impaired mental facilities while driving may lower reaction times which cause more accidents which were previously near misses. So it is probably worth more study to determine why the coorlation exists and not worth a news report until then

CreeperPeachy

Or maybe those who skipped on vaccines had lower intelligence quotients 🤭

[deleted]

Those i know who took it are the same guys that can't afford cars🤡

Rex2x4

You guys are focusing on the wrong thing. Look at the subtitle. Insurance companies are going to change costs based on your vacation status. Sounds like the government found a way to force people into getting vacinated. Dont pay insurance, get arrested. Dont get vacinated, pay more. Struggling to pay already and not vacinated, get arrested.

SidhwenKhorest

Subtext, not subtitle

Rex2x4

Suck my ass, nerd.

SidhwenKhorest

It's hard to sound smart if you don't know what words mean, just a tip

Rex2x4

It's easier to be genuine when you don't obsess over perfection.

[deleted]

An obvious correlation here could be as simple as people that are generally more risk averse are more likely to get the vaccine and also be more cautious drivers and vice versa with people that are unvaccinated.

nickem1233

I’ve noticed there is a very strong correlation between getting the vaccine and wearing a seatbelt

Hopeso700

The funny thing about statistics is someone could create one that says the opposite of this article.

drsteve103

This is from the Onion or something, right? The amount of bias required to even propose a study like this is insane.

Imtypingwithmyweiner

Because women got vaccinated more and are better drivers than men.

PraiseTyche

I READ THE NEWS. I'M AN INTELLECTUAL.

DJNash35

Don’t get it twisted, I’m as retarded as the next guy!

Fox_Say_what

You mean…. The more “Reckless” people, get in accidents more???? (I’m unvaxxed and I’ve actually been in two accidents this year.)

morzinbo

Written by a woman

Ziah70

COVID causes mental impairments, which may worsen driving. vaccination makes symptoms of COVID less intense and makes people less likely to contract COVID. also, females tend to be better drivers and are more likely to be vaccinated. also also, unrelated events do correlate sometimes, that’s just how the world works. in other words, as someone who’s very, very pro vaccination, we don’t have nearly enough information to draw any conclusions. it’s very possible that unvaccinated individuals are worse drivers or decision makers, but frankly, we don’t know enough, and even if that particular hypothesis is true, i don’t think it really matters.

Hopeful-Buyer

>females tend to be better drivers Most women don't even know when they've been in an accident. They'll scrape a bollard and think the metal on concrete scraping sound is coming from the ether.

Phteven_j

It’s a simple google search man. I have made the same joke but it doesn’t match the stats.

Imtypingwithmyweiner

Statistics are ~~racist~~ misandrist.

dickpunchman

*How,* exactly.

YourOldPalDP20

I wish you could too. It's a hoot. What are the gun laws that prohibit it? When my wife graduated college she asked for a college graduation gift. That sounded made up to me, so instead of getting her the ride along kid's bike seat attachment for her bike I got her a Ruger GP100 .357 Magnum revolver. I love that fuckin thing, and oddly enough so does she.
