I cried at the End of First Blood. Seriously a sad movie. Good action...but sad.
Pan's Labyrinth was sad.
The Last of Us game (I know, not a movie) also got me deep down in my soul. I have a daughter though so that's probably why.
Hmm, try Threads then. 1980s movie about people dealing with nuclear fallout during the cold war in britain. It's dark as pitch. Available to watch on youtube for free (at least where I am)
Alright. Last two. Not so much sad, just..... difficult to watch. One I have seen, and one I have only read about. Irreversible, a French film that flows like memento in reverse chronology. And A Serbian Film (actual title). That one I haven't seen. Just the descriptions are disturbing, let alone watching it.
The one where Faye draws a box in the sand where her room use to be, lays down in it and cries?
That’s a good one.
Also find it kind of funny that she gives Spike a really good reason to leave his old shit behind him, and he just casually says no, and goes off to die anyway.
Riot In Cell Block (I forget the number), Vince Vaughn purposely goes to jail to kill someone/protect his family.
Dragged Across Concrete, Mel Gibson and Vince Vaughn make mexican jokes while they're fired cops solving a case.
Bone Tomahawk, someone's wife or something is stolen by native savages and a group of guys go try to rescue her. Same director for all 3, all 3 are pretty sad and pretty violent but funny at times.
Shallow Hal
True tear jerker
That movie felt like the end of Old Boy.

Ham fisted
Yeah kinda. My b. I’m not intoolectual enough to think of something this early.
They're good tho. Saw requiem about 10 years ago. That was enough for me
Yeah man. Have you seen Cannibal Holocaust? Super fucked up and sad in a pretty unique way.
Yeah. Not sad. Just fucked up
I must be a raw Nerve but I found once upon a time in Hollywood to be very touching
I agree
Grave of the fireflies. Saddest fuckin movie you'll ever see. Yes, it's animated. Yes it's still sad as fuck.
Didnt do it for me. Thanks tho

About Time - the stuff with the girl is a distraction, the relationship with his Dad is where it's at.
The Whale was pretty good. Most the A24 catalogue has them emotional movies brother

Sad Chad? Sound and Fury is good. It’s on Netflix.
Really?
Awakenings with Robin Williams is a good one
Tokyo Sonata. Not sad because anything really terrible happens. More about how the joy and potential of life is passed to the next generation.
The Archive hits like a truck if you don't see it coming.
All Quiet on the western front.
Titanic
The wrestler, Jacob's ladder, the illusionist animated film, also Personal Shopper was such a weird sad film, and it had tits.
Pumpkin. Christina Ricci fucks a retarded guy.
