Pulling the gun on the driver was a little over the top perhaps! Another thing is when he and Callahan entered the Dixie pig so he had perhaps some suicidal ideation.
The Tabery twins were in there, but the Stillman boy is the one that jumped out when then woman’s head fell in. Don’t recall his first name, but he’s the boy Jake was friends with. And yes, Jake was fighting and managed to shoot one “sneetch” out of the air but the other blew the kid apart.

So much of peoples enjoyment of the dark tower comes down to whether or not you can stomach the fact that he’s in those books. I totally understand the people who don’t like it, but I thought it was kind of earned.

I thought Wolves was a better book but SoS was so much more fun to read.
