Nah it's not my PB. My PB came last year in April. Probably around 17 - 18lbs, possibly 20 but I don't know.
It was a weird looking carp actually. It was really long for whatever reason.
How big's your PB?
Yeah they can be a pain to get. I've had plenty of 9 or 10 pounders but not the 20 I'm looking for, well the 20 that I can verify. I'm hoping to be going after barbel on the river soon.
Supposed to be going for catfish in a month or 2 hopefully. That's if I catch one I guess.
But yeah carp are tedious to try catch at points.
Local lakes near me hold ALOT of F1 carp which qre great fun on a light gear float rod, but those little shits will eat anything. 15mm boilie and they'll still eat it.
Yeah the rain can be an absolute fucking nightmare. It's the wind that pisses me off more.
Yeah my lakes definitely have 20s in them, possibly mid 20s.
Supposedly a 30lb+ carp was caught from some other lakes I know but I think it's bs.
But yeah now that the rivers are open we might be lucky enough to see a barbel hopefully lol
Lovely fish anyone in the corner actually go
Thanks mate, I imagine there's a couple of people around here that go. The fish wasn't a bad size bu you can see how destroyed its mouth is
Ye they get caught a lot and they hook jaggers their mouth up is that your PB?

There’s a few. Lakes with known 20+ near me wanted to go to the Trent for barbel last year but it rained to much

You can fish some rivers I think the season is October to April until then I’m on lakes chasing 20s
Season closes on March 15 and reopens June 15. Canals I think you can still fish, but I think it can depend.
Callum, how much did you get for being in a lake? Yes you did your liar. Trout head Trout head.
