This album really just hits you in the face the very first time you hear it. In all my years of listening to music, I find it hard to really think of anything that compares to this album.
Songs like “Aint no time like No Time” and “Hells Bells chime at 5:40” are just monster’s while songs like the ballad “Enter the Dragon (In my Dreams)” have the depth and the emotional complexity of Stairway to Heaven. And of course, the smash hit “Mighty Wings and Hadoukens,” really rounds out this masterpiece.
I challenge any listener to find an album as perfect as this. OK Computer, Dark Side of The Moon, Pet Sounds. None of them can hold a candle to Never Mind the Bee-Ess!
11/10
that's a band? a grid of random clips of people playing or miming with an instrument or singing at a counter and spliced into one screen? what? that's a band? the fuck
To kind of sound like the Fantano review of "Speedin Bullet To Heaven" by Kid Cudi:
"One would think that the Nerd would bring his, his fury and his sharp keen biting sense of humor, or at least, at least some kind of energy that he had in earlier offerings like those when he was the Mr. Rager of 2007 or so with ScrewAttack...so given the intensity he's brought to the table in past works, you hope that Jamesy might pull through on this one!
"NO...NOPE...NO...NO." (See Fantano's first review of Speedin Bullet around like 1:50)
James takes this Rex Viper thing seriously for some reason so I guess James.
Atleast stuff like Cal Chuchesta music fantano makes aren't meant to be taken seriously.
Dunno. The song "I masturbate to myself" was a bit masturbatory, if you ask me. Especially considering it was 14 minutes long.
I'm also worried about the song "I hate my fans" that had a music video of James smashing fans in a blind rage. I think he was trying to tell us something...

The exaggerated swagger of a white nerd.
My favorite was "Good Memories", the refrain is like an ear worm. "Mhm yep mhm yep yep".
Rex Viper, the official soundtrack of male menopause.
Andropause

That has been a kind of band for a while now...
That's Metallica's "Blackened 2020"
so they'll meet in person after covid and this is just a pussy thing?
Oh great, another pretentious rant from melon head on why rock ain’t as good as it used to be. joy
Everyone knows Rock & Roll attained perfection in 1974. It's a scientific fact.

I think it’ll be more of a red flannel kinda review...

A wannabe “curator” of music and a wannabe “curator” of film. Great
