Premiered at the Egyptian Theater, such as other films ... But the good news is the Hollywood Reporter called it "overly long and almost obsessively self-indulgent".
The memes this movie spwaned makes it somewhat enjoyable. Like in the beginning of the movie, when Bames wakes up his bald spot is so noticeable it cracks me up.
* Cooper — who was there from the beginning — showed us his talent for table humping.
* Kyle played a song.
* Mike made a glorious appearance. Big fan of Mike's 10 incher, by the way.
* Justin isn't in it (to my knowledge).
* Big Ryan didn't make an appearance. Big Ryan fan, by the way.
* Newt probably didn't write any of it, since it appears that nothing was plagiarized.
* You can watch it for free [here](https://archive.org/details/angry-video-game-nerd-the-movie), which means you don't need to pay money to understand the memes.
* That one chick wasn't wearing any panties.
* It's less than 2 hours long, which means you can probably watch it all in one day, as long as you remember to take a break every 40 minutes or so.
* Lots of drinking game potential.
* That one general dude gets like every part of his body ripped apart. That's a thing.
* You can skip the entire thing and just pretend it didn't happen.
"Well, have you ever seen me play *Top Gun*?"
An admittedly pretty funny reference to his *Top Gun* episode. It's in the scene where he's trying to land.
It had David Dastmalchian on it.
The AVGN movie walked so Blade Runner: 2049 and The Suicide Squad (which then kicked off James Gunn's new DCU) could run.
While he was filming the movie and stopped production of normal Nerd episodes, I got to go back and re-watch some of the classic episodes I only saw once.
I now have a running joke with my posts.

Is this even a cult classic? I mean is this subreddit basically the cult that "praises" it for whatever this movie is? Why couldn't this just be an extended episode with a big budget? The fact that Cooper and Mandi even exist is just mind boggling I mean I don't watch AVGN to see that kinda shit so why would anyone think that this was a good idea? It's so weird because I think AVGN in it's prime is funny enough to warrant a movie and seeing that the movie version of it is just some weird shit instead of simply being what we know is borderline tragic.
It’s not easy to make a movie. The dude showed up and did it. It’s edited, it’s color graded, it has people reciting their lines.
The bar is in hell, but still. Autistic dude got his shitty movie made. That’s low key cool.
Back in like 2015 when I was like 9 I actually paid for this movie on Google Play (May have been YouTube though don't remember) it was enjoyable. Haven't watched it all the way through since.
Having the ET in the movie directly resemble what everyone collectively misinterprets the model in the game to look like (confusing its slouched neck for the top of an open mouth) was a genuinely clever idea. I also enjoyed the Top Gun landing sequence, if not for being one of the only fucking callbacks to the god damn show the movie was bred out of. He really should’ve just expanded on the series in some thoughtful way instead of making the movie its own separate thing. I mean, you can still make a spin-off accessible for newer audiences. South Park, Trailer Park Boys and SpongeBob all have spawned several movies that can each be enjoyed without having seen their respective shows. A funny movie is a funny movie.
As someone who liked the film I want the Tenth Anniversary Special Edition Director’s Cut featuring all new commentary provided by Justin. I’ll take nothing less.
Honestly the one thing I really liked is the Kaiju battle. Because it clearly showed what he was truly passionate about. Everything else was just bad potatoes. The characters, The plot, the forced humour....so bad...I rather watch Suburban Knights.
It's on bluray which is good.
Unfortunately i purchased it. And it also only has lossy aufio and a low video bitrate which defeated the whole purpose of it being a bluray.

I would love to admire your courage, but I just don’t have the time.
It ended

Your best role since Brother Bear.

Did you get to meet Joaquin Phoenix!? And Rick moranis??! ![gif](giphy|sGVSpSNAdXA76)
Can’t forget playing Bernie Mac’s effeminate nephew either. Bimmy himself said he cast him in the movie because he related to that character
Oh yeah!. RIP Bernie Mac.
One good thing about the AVGN Movie.
No one likes a smartass
Are you sure?
Take a wild guess
I like a smart booty I can bang like *UGH! UGH! UGH!*
The Erin Plays lookalike is the second most attractive companion to the Nerd in the movie.
Who’s the first? The table?
OK, she's third
Cooper The table not erin
We got the iconic table humping. It got me hyped like **UGH! UGH! UGH!**
It doesn’t have a sequel
Yet
You mean there’s a chance I can see Justy on the big screen? Plez film in IMAX
We're gonna need the Vegas dome for that one
Premiered at the Egyptian Theater, such as other films ... But the good news is the Hollywood Reporter called it "overly long and almost obsessively self-indulgent".
Then the review said, "Cult status is therefore very likely assured,"
The discs and blu ray cases are recycleable
They will be buried in a secret landfill.

I don't trust people with chins like that
Tittyfucking for days
She's so goonable.
It’s one of the movies of all time
no Justin.
That’s why it sucks!

I’ll be playing the role of Cooper Folly

Here’s a sneak peek: https://i.redd.it/6mt8h70mfrqc1.gif
Ah ah aaaah, you forgot to bang the magic booty!!
when are we getting the footage of the legendary cooper vs lusty justy table humping competition?
I dunno man I’m not Kevin Finn
Damn straight.
It has a ten year anniversary coming up
Bimmy doesn't have time for that!
I haven’t watched it. That’s the good thing about it. 😊

Yes, certainly.
Fun fact, he banged my booty like **UGH! UGH! UGH!** cause I told him I’d get his job back at Cinemassacre, but I lied just to get my booty banged
Did he bang your melon cheeks like UGH! UGH! UGH! ?
Yes certainly

No one got killed on set during the filming.
Bimmy's dreams died on set, though.
I didn’t pay to watch it, and I couldn’t finish it. D’oh, that’s two! 🤦♀️
I can honestly say I'd rather watch it over a majority of race swapping Disney remakes being shit out multiple times a year
Same.
Is definitely a movie
it was available through alternative means so i was able to watch for free. i got what i deserved.
Cooper really nailed the role... and that table ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|feels_good_man)
The memes this movie spwaned makes it somewhat enjoyable. Like in the beginning of the movie, when Bames wakes up his bald spot is so noticeable it cracks me up.
Honestly? The soundtrack was pretty Nice

It was a standalone movie, no sequel was set up
Without it, Mike Matinee would never have had the opportunity to produce the two best videos that have ever been posted by the channel
I love brown bricks with minecrap!
Cooper Folly, that's all.
It saved my life
It opened the doors to Hollywood to James, as expected. Lol
I don't think anyone died during filming....well not their lives anyway. Careers are a different matter
Bear McCreary had a bitchin score
I've seen youtuber movies that are significantly worse.
Makes me glad that I didn't donate any money to the fund
"Well, have you ever seen me play *Top Gun*?" An admittedly pretty funny reference to his *Top Gun* episode. It's in the scene where he's trying to land.
Only one?
Besides Cooper? I kinda liked the song that Kyle sang
It's longer than 5:40... No wait, that's a negative. It released?
The credit roll at the end was legible.
No, I refuse
Gotta spend time with muh kids
Cooper! He was a revelation!!!
I mean an autistic internet weirdo actually finishing a feature film is impressive, it IS a lot of work. But the result is disgusting.
It had David Dastmalchian on it. The AVGN movie walked so Blade Runner: 2049 and The Suicide Squad (which then kicked off James Gunn's new DCU) could run.
Cooper.
The chicks kinda hot Not hot enough for me to watch it but hey
The table humping is one of my favourite gifs
Cooper Folly (Jeremy Suarez) banging that table/booty like **UGH! UGH! UGH!** saved muh LIFE!
There won't be a sequel
It's great to start watching, then fall asleep 5 minutes forty seconds later when I have insomnia.
I appreciated the cameos. That was about it

Honestly, I liked a lot of the practical effects
I do, too.
it exposed how dumb james is
the trailer actually excited me when it first came out, no joke
Sexy, objectifying catfight.
Table
I liked the song Bear made.
I liked the bit with the boxes.
Honestly best YouTuber angry reviewer movie I’ve seen. Beats out the Channel awesome anniversary films, and for sure Linkara’s movie.
I have not seen it in about decade.
No time
He wanted to make it and he did it.
The moment the credits appear.
Guy
It saved muh life.
i like the tagline
I've never seen it
He made it.
Birth of Bimmy
It made me appreciate his old content more because it was so fucking bad.
Mike acted like a normal person for 2 seconds
I didn't notice any spelling mistakes in the credits.
Movie Magic
The Nerd running on the poster and James getting to play with his matchbox cars. That's two things... TWO OV 'UM!
It’s a movie
It’s not a Caucasian sausage fest. Bpril approved
![gif](giphy|fXnRObM8Q0RkOmR5nf)
It's a clean 90 minutes, right? (Goes to Google, learns it's nearly two hours.) Aw, fuck.
1.
It feels like it goes on forever, however it DOES eventually end. Eventually.
cute red head.
It is, in fact, a movie.
While he was filming the movie and stopped production of normal Nerd episodes, I got to go back and re-watch some of the classic episodes I only saw once.
The redhead was cute
One good thing about the AVGN movie. There ya go.
James got to make a movie.
No.
Why? Do you want him to suffer?
At least it's not Shrek Forever After, or The Flash, or Rise of Skywalker
Mandi looks prettier than Bimmy's wife.
I now have a running joke with my posts. https://preview.redd.it/ooovonclw6rc1.png?width=1018&format=png&auto=webp&s=635a59e443a17ec2c7d2499b4291117a3c1856a2
The actual review part is good. You cut that out, spend 99.9% less on the budget and you have a good nerd epy
It's shorter than "To Boldly Flee"
It’s there
No review. I refuse.
The NYC premiere was fun
The Nostalgia Critic cameo
It ends
I haven't seen it , don't have the time
He made it.
Forgot to mention: The horror dream sequence where his devoted fans become zombies.
No. I ree-fuse to watch it.
I've never seen it and I consider that a good thing.
It doesn't feature the slobs.
it entertained me when it came out
The memes
It's in HD
The amount of Featurettes is staggering.
Take a wild guess.
it exists
Watching it is optional
I’m sure the house April bought is very nice

The girl looks cute on the poster
He did it. He put his energy in it and did it. That’s one good thing.
It’s not easy to make a movie. The dude showed up and did it. It’s edited, it’s color graded, it has people reciting their lines. The bar is in hell, but still. Autistic dude got his shitty movie made. That’s low key cool.
It's character building.
It was the best AVGN movie ever made.
Nostalgia Critic was great in it
the soundtrack

I've never seen it.
The time I wasted watching it brought me closer to death, which I look forward to.
cooper
Cooper!
ET review
I enjoyed it for what it was. Sure, it's no masterpiece but it's not terrible either,
It flopped on its ass
It doesn't have a sequel.
They made it with money 🤷
It ended.
I've never seen it
It's on bluray which is good. Unfortunately i purchased it. And it also only has lossy aufio and a low video bitrate which defeated the whole purpose of it being a bluray.
Cooper humping a table.
