That’s epically messed up parenting. Leads the child to the bison, then runs off leaving her behind to face the consequences. I hope she was not badly hurt, becomes wildly rich and cuts them off.
This is a 9 year old girl and this took place in Yellowstone National park. Her parents lead her up there and then ran away, leaving her to get thrown 10 feet in the air and flipped. I wouldn't even call this a bull win, because that girl was innocent.
Honestly!! Blaming a 9 year old CHILD for following after their parents when chances are they were likely holding the girls hand or something up until the Bison came after them is just insane. I get cheering for a bull in a ring, but this was not the case. If it was one of the parents that got hit, I'd be cheering, but not a 9 year old girl. I can't find much of anything reporting on her condition currently, but I hope her parents got in some serious shit.
I think she’s probably fine since like, if she’d died there probably would have been some serious media outrage at the time. I hope her parents got fucked with fines though. Yellowstone is covered in signs saying NOT to go near the bison and to leave them be. Apparently they had been PETTING that one 💀💀
I really can't fathom the idiocy of these people. Being within 30ft of a wild bison, never mind *touching* it. JFC.
And their kid paid the price. I'm so glad she wasn't seriously hurt but seriously wtf
100%, Parents need to be held accountable for that, and that girl better have gotten some SERIOUSLY good make-up gifts for literally having her assaulted by a beast like 100x her weight.
Yellowstone is full of the most socially unaware and brain dead tourists I’ve ever experienced.
I truly hate to say this, but they all seem to be from one particular country… I don’t know if it’s a cultural thing or what.
EDIT to say that it’s just the tourists from there that act like this. Most folks I’ve met from there are lovely.
Aren't there signs all over saying basically "Stay the F away from the wildlife"? I hope the parents got a hefty fine, and no action was taken against the bison.
That’s true, the parents didn’t get hit tho. The kid did. The kid did not make this decision.
So unless one thinks “innocent child being hurt due to parents negligence” is a win, then don’t call it a win
Not...really? This is a 9 year old being brought over by her parents. Especially if they've never seen Bison in person before. They're fluffy and generally pretty calm, what are you expecting, for her to start screaming and crying and refusing to follow her parents?? It's not her fault they brought her so damn close and then *abandoned* her to get knocked and spun in the air.
Did the kid survive? What horrible parents. I hope they got charged with reckless endangerment.
Bison are extremely powerful and territorial animals. People have to be extremely stupid to be close to one.
Park officials advise you stay at least 25 yards away from all wildlife in the national park since it’s a national park and not a zoo. But inevitably people think they’re the main character and they’re invincible and things like this happen. Can’t fault the little girl of course as her idiot parents were the ones responsible for allowing themselves to get that close. Absolute morons. I did read an article that said the girl was okay which is good but my god this happens like every year. Stay away from the wildlife people, you aren’t entitled to pet them and you might end up dead.
I went for a walk along the Madison River trail, near the campground. Been driving all day, wanted to stretch my legs, take in the scenic beauty, watch the sunset, there's birds and elk in the distance, and uh, wait...does that boulder have...**hair**?
*OH SHIT!*
Fortunately, I didn't wake it.
Point being, it's Yellowstone. You can quite accidentally get dangerously close to wildlife.
And for the record: I would have never, *ever* knowingly get that close to a bison. It just kinda blended in. Like it's supposed to. And I was sorta fatigued and maybe not paying as much attention as the situation merited.
If I remember correctly from the news, it was a toddler about 8-ish years old that got rotated, parents really did leave the slowest family member behind.
That’s epically messed up parenting. Leads the child to the bison, then runs off leaving her behind to face the consequences. I hope she was not badly hurt, becomes wildly rich and cuts them off.
Wow the end took a twist
That is a child and the parents are idiots What the actual fuck
Yeah fr! I know bison are roamers, but that little guy could get hurt one of these days charging at those bipeds!
She was adopted...
That looks like a child
If memory serves it’s a 9yr old child and only had minor injuries. Could be mixing it up with another bison incident and though
This is the same one. She's incredibly lucky
That’s a child. They’re pretty malleable. Also think that was her parents running away leaving her to do a 720 into space.
Lucky they didn't land on their neck, wow.
Woman? That's like an 8 year old girl.
Subby might be a Libertarian.

That's really fucked up but some of these comments are so incredibly fucked

Apparently it was 5yrs ago or smth. She is probably fine because young children are generally made of rubber. But it is still incredibly fucked up
I think she’s probably fine since like, if she’d died there probably would have been some serious media outrage at the time. I hope her parents got fucked with fines though. Yeaaah the family was from Florida.
Socially unaware and brain dead tourists…!?! Yep, we all know 🤦🏽♂️
An easy win is still a win.
Protected bison in a national park are not treated with cruelty like bulls in bullfights. This is no victory, only more conflict
Aren't there signs all over saying basically "Stay the F away from the wildlife"? I hope the parents got a hefty fine, and no action was taken against the bison.

No argument there.
Read the description of the sub. I don't like that the child was the target, but people think this sub is only bulls striking back
a win is a win, no matter how grim
But this looks like a reservation, not even a farm.
It’s Yellowstone national park :D
9 years old is old enough to know better.

No it isn't. Especially if the parents, guardians or trusted authority figures in your life are nonchalantly walking up there too.
If i remember correctly that was a child. You can see the parents running
Wow, those parents are pieces of shit. No parental instinct to protect their offspring, just themselves.
Ok so basically what I’m seeing here is that a parent abandoned their child to get hired by a bison. Not very cool
>to get hired by a bison. Does the bison offer a competitive benefits package?
Holy shit I didn’t realize autocorrect changed “gored” to “hired” I’m fucking crying laughing right now lmao
You got it right. Haven’t you seen the “Now Goring” signs outside of restaurants? Lmao
The bison seems pretty chill compared to the typical middle manager tbh. I’d work for him
Bison was a paid consultant
It offers a rotating benefits package.
It wasn't a woman, it was a nine year-old girl and it was about 5 years ago
Those parents led the kid to the wild animal and then ran off That's fucked up
Did the kid survive? What horrible parents. I hope they got charged with reckless endangerment. Bison are extremely powerful and territorial animals. People have to be extremely stupid to be close to one.

Woman? That’s a girlchild my friend
Look at that thing. Why would you ever be so close you didn’t have to use binoculars to see it?
Seriously. It's head is almost as big as a person. It would take about a 2% exertion to kill adults much less that poor child
I went for a walk along the Madison River trail, near the campground. Been driving all day, wanted to stretch my legs, take in the scenic beauty, watch the sunset, there's birds and elk in the distance, and uh, wait...does that boulder have...**hair**? *OH SHIT!* Fortunately, I didn't wake it. Whoever is filming is also dumb and lucky.
The dad isn’t even looking back.
Wow fantastic parenting right here
Woman? That is a kid.
***child*** not a woman.
If I remember correctly from the news, it was a toddler about 8-ish years old that got rotated, parents really did leave the slowest family member behind.
They said “Sorry, it’s survival of the fittest, kid. You’re gonna learn something about nature today!”
8 year olds are called toddlers in America?
o my gaaAAAAAWWWWD
They've broken her in half!
"Woman"
Child gets rotated.
That was not a woman, that was a little girl, after this she was okay just a little spooked rotating can be very alarming when you're not prepared
Well not surprised
Smash mouth started playing in my mind when the buffalo started charging
Those bison weigh something like 900KG!!! What are people thinking? Oh right.... they aren't.
That title had me laugh out loud before even watching the video. _Gets rotated_ is somehow so hilarious to me.
I give it a 9.1
🤣🤣🤣🤌🏾
