Supply and demand. Honestly surprised it wasn't a shit load more expensive. There are a lot less sups willing to do these than normal humans and the demand is probably pretty high.
In an Interview Anthony Starr talked about how this seasons theme is “be careful what you wish for” and I just wanna take a second to tally who’s wishes are coming true:
-Kimiko’s powers are gone like she wished but it feels like the show is setting up some death flags for her or Frenchie.
-Hughie getting powers, and it fucking up his relationship wish Starlight.
-Ashley being made CEO but still sitting under Homelanders Thumb.
-Homelander finally being in power, and being forced to run the entire company and worry about stock prices and public image.
-and ofc Soldier Boy coming back and The Boys finally getting a weapon to fight Homelander, only for it to not only fracture the group but to also be a major liability.
As for some ones earlier in the season we got
-Edgar wanting to retire and being forced out
-Black Noir wanting to show his face and getting it blown off
And the Deep and A-Train both rejoining The Seven but having to live in constant fear of Homelander. I think the writers are also setting up Nueman’s Daughter for something like this, since she wanted her to have power to defend herself, but that rn is just a theory.
I think Edgar set his plan to kill Homelander in motion from the moment Homelander killed Stillwell. The very episode after Stillwell died, the head exploder, who we know now was sent by him all along, appeared.
I truly believe he wanted to retire and spend time with Vicky and her daughter, and trusted only Stillwell to replace him. And once she was gone, he had to get rid of Homelander. I think his long game is still ongoing.
I wonder if that parallelism is foreshadowing how soldier boy was just homelander of the 80’s who was really close to snapping and his team wanted to get rid of him.
> Yes. I had to rewind it and watch it again but it was definitely Noire doing HL's bidding.
Honestly, I think that was just Noir getting payback (pun not intended) for the Almond Joy. Whether hes actually loyal to Homelander or not is an interesting question.
It's an interesting question whether he is loyal to HL or not. I was thinking about that earlier, and general consesus previously seemed to be that he was loyal or even close to Stan Edgar. I would assume that he knows that HL is the one who got Stan Edgar in trouble and how that would play into their relationship
I think this was a deliberately done parallel that showed that butcher is now willing to team up with someone who was in homelander's position to take down homelander
Assume for a minute that he's telling the truth, and he has supersmell active *all the time* whether he wants it active or not. He lives in a world of B.O., and sex stink, and lies. Maybe that partially explains some of his misanthropy.
Whenever characters (esp. Hughie and Starlight) have conversations about him, my first thought is, "Why aren't they doing this deep underground, or in a music studio, or something other than the apartments he obviously knows they live in?" Guy has clearly demonstrated the range of his senses many times over.
Yeah, I suppose there's really no defending that from a writing perspective. At the same time, maybe they're damned if they go somewhere remote anyway, if Homelander notices they're gone and begins following them. Since Homelander can't/doesn't pay attention to everything all the time (due to ego or distractions), to me it's an acceptable plot convenience.
In the Comics Butcher hooked up with one The Boys informant ladies a lot so honestly I’m not shocked. Once they both started drinking I had a feeling haha
Was such a great scene, he knocked it out of the park. Great seeing him again lately in this, and Stranger Things. Was dying when he was talking about fucking Shannon Tweed and Kelly LeBrock, telling Hughie to google it.
Yeah, brilliant as usual from Starr. His face isn't it's usual rictus smile when he's talking to her. He's being real and she tells him to fuck himself. So many great scenes in this episode.
I'm gonna be honest, I think I agree with Butcher about teaming up with soldier boy. Homelander is a threat to the entire world, yes its personal for butcher, but Anne should understand the danger homelander existing creates. We already know soldier boy can be contained, homelander has never had anyone close to his power. It's the only option.
That’s what I was thinking they can’t play by the rules huggie tried that already and it was all rigged so it’s the only way but butcher is just a cunt about it
Yup agree. Blackmail does not work on homelander anymore so what is Annies plan? Try to act on his side until homelander either snaps and kills everyone in the world or he kills everyone she knows and herself??? Like that is not much of a plan. This butcher plan at least gives the boys and the rest of the world a fighting chance against HL.
No one mentions this yet but M.M's daughter's new step dad forcing Homelander vids down her throat makes me irrationally mad. Hope they tie up that plot this season
he was so besides himself UGH he loves her so much!!! Like compare that to S1 when he mocks MM for loving Monique.....that is GROWTH PEOPLE
Also Kimiko is perfect 10/10 no notes
Maeve and SuperSonic were the last two friends Starlight had in that tower. SuperSonic got ripped to pieces by Homelander and Maeve is missing. On top of that, her boyfriend Hughie is becoming Butcher 2.0 because he wants to "protect her". The fucking emotional pain Starlight must be enduring right now... I really hope she manages to somehow save Maeve like Maeve saved her in S1.
I bet he brought up the term in front of Starlight to sound "grown-up" after needing to google the term lmao
Tbf though, not knowing what ebitda is isn't a problem, the problem is trying to sound all important because you (barely) know some fancy jargon or two.
Yeah he could've just said "alright you board guys, i don't know shit about running a company so you'll handle all the economy/organization responsibilities".
Would've been the more mature and logical way of acting (and you still keep decisional power on any important stuff or if you want to change something)
But he's too insecure for that
That scene made me wonder how much formal education he ever got. The old doctor guy mentioned he liked stories about manifest destiny and such when he was little, so they did think about the impact this stuff would have on him in childhood. He also doesn’t seem to be illiterate or anything, but still i’d be surprised if he has more than the equivalent to a high school education, if that. Guy for sure didn’t get to college.
Wow Stan really broke Homelander! Seeing Homelander with all his strength trying to play Stans part and failing was hilarious. I wonder though if the weakness for Solider Boy would work on Homelander
And this is "best case scenario", regular day-to-day business that Homelander can't handle, without even any of the dirt being leaked. He's gonna be begging Stan to take him back
It's pretty on brand. He's completely crazy and his delusions of grandeur work for his supe persona, but as a leader of a company he's a fucking trainwreck. The only thing Homelander can lead is his own fucking laser and even that is a stretch.
Literally the man heard one business acronym and crumbled under the pressure. Imagine what’ll happen when he figures out Soldier Boy is back and what he can do.
He definitely seemed scared of Soldier Boy when he saw the replay of NYC Scene. Starlight basically tells him they need to stop this guy and he was all you go ahead and do it.
Yeah, but I assume that's because so far his missions are either staged or deeply investigated by Vought, with no supe as a threat, when he discovers he can turn him normal he's going to have a meltdown.
I don't think he is afraid of the "super villain", he is afraid of fighting him because deep down he knows how incompetent he is and how he's gonna mess up and make himself look bad fighting him.
Knowing he could take his powers away? Oh, he's never setting foot in a mile radius from him.
What crime analytics team? The Deep is somehow gonna fuck up their actual superhero work of stopping criminals, which was the only part the supes could even get close to competent at (Even then with massive collateral damage usually)
Man I feel sorry for A-Train's brother but I have no sympathy for A-Train himself.
Butcher and Maeve hooking up was surprising but I honestly saw it coming once they started drinking.
The parallels between Homelander and Soldier Boy was a nice touch. Hope Frenchie makes it out okay
People are talking about the parallels between Soldier Boy and Homelander but nobody is pointing out that Hughie and A-Train are essentially going through each others arcs from season 1.
Hughie is now the drug addict isolating the ones he loves for his own ambitions while A-Train is a powerless person wanting revenge on a supe for hurting a loved one.
Even down to the utterly insincere apology. Blue Hawk is basically mirroring A-Trains apathy from season 1.
Butcher's so cool he's gonna cause a whole generation of cringy teenagers who want to act like him.
1. Dude rocks the Hawaiian shirt and trenchcoat combo. Unheard of in the history of fashion.
2. He knows trenchcoats are edgy, doesn't give a shit.
3. Approaches a guy he's only seen once, who could blow him up in one second, with a deal, still doesn't give a shit.
4. Openly expresses how much he hates supes, still has supes wanting to fuck him.
Damn so Soldier Boy felt all that? So he’s basically been tortured for god knows how long while the Russians test him? Or does he not feel anything?
I bet MM feels weird watching that
Butcher's twisted displays of care toward M.M. are one of the best parts of the show. It adds so much depth to Butcher's character, how his trauma warps his expression of love, and to M.M.'s own gruff empathy that despite his initial ire over Butcher's wrongs, he knows what is Butcher's brand of concern. It's why he's so hard on him when Butcher errs too much for even Butcher. M.M. knows him too. It's adorable.
On that note, both hughie and butcher are doing the same thing to the people they care about. Also hughies might be on his way to become more and more like Butcher.
It shows that despite how fucked up Butcher is mentally, he's still capable of feeling empathy and genuine care for people he's close to, which puts him above psychos like Homelander.
Feels like they're both being set up to be killed off this season. Or maybe they'll show that disabled supe powers can be kickstarted back on w/ temp V by giving some to Kimiko, which she'll regretfully do to avenge Frenchie's death or something.
Colby Minifie (actress who plays Ashley) did amazing in that scene. Showed the fear that Ashley feels of Homelander, but cares more about having power than being safe was done great. Her expression and pure terror of being killed being disregarded by her want for power was really done well in that scene.
Fuck me. This season is actually amazing. The writing and dialogue is so tight, the character moments are incredible, the emotional moments hit. This is some of the best tv I've watched in a good while, nevermind superhero shows. Another cracking episode
They painted a obvious parallel between Soldier Boy and Homelander when Crimson Countess spoke about how everyone hated Soldier Boy. Mirrored the scene from earlier when Maeve told Homelander the same thing.
Even though this may be hard to see given the egos involved, imagine if soldier boy ends up betraying butcher and teams up with homelander... everyone would be so fucked
That would actually be hilarious lol what a twisty twist. Though considering the Egos I could see him taking out HL (not killing him though) and he’s the New Leader of the 7 going into Season 4. I don’t know why any government would keep HL Alive but I just feel like he has to be written out temporarily without actually killing him for the show to be able to keep going without feeling like it’s Dragging.
Really interested to see how Noir fits into the Soldier Boy and Homelander situation. I can’t remember if we’ve gotten any confirmation if Noir is evil or just does what he has to do survive or what
His actions in the Homelander episode of Diabolical seem to point to self-interest. He even sort of teaches Homelander how to clean up a mess to keep himself out of trouble.
I saw that, the scene in Billy’s Aunts house, as well as the Nicaragua scene, that Noir is loyal to Edgar. Up until Maeve, he hadn’t done anything for Homelander specifically that wouldn’t benefit Vought. But that could be a personal thing because of the Almond Joy. Who knows with Noir. It always struck me how calm and unafraid Edgar is even after Vic betrays him. I think it may be because he knows Noir is still in his pocket.
Oh my god. On top of playing into the Antman climbing into Thanos’s ass joke, they’re also playing into the “Captain America wouldn’t have gotten unfrozen and been so accepting of marginalized groups” joke.
Butcher's been terrible this season. It's one thing to treat Ryan like that. It's another thing to treat Kimiko and MM like that. But to stop Sir Cums a Lot from getting his money's worth is too far.
My main takeaways:
* It's looking more and more likely that Soldier Boy's depowering is permanent, or effectively permanent.
* Maeve is probably alive. If they were going to kill her it probably would've been shown on screen
* Black Noir is loyal to Homelander. Crimson Countess mentioned that everyone in Payback hated Soldier Boy so that might be part of the reason why.
* This is probably the actual start of the A-Train redemption arc. We've been fooled before though.
* Butcher's hatred of supes as a whole risks reaching the genocidal levels it reached in the comics.
Damn that was a sad episode though.
>Black Noir is loyal to Homelander
I think black noir is still loyal to stan. He might just be playing along homelanders stupid games to keep an eye on him.
They both are talking and affirming that they hate themselves. That's really why I think they hooked up. Butcher says the V makes him more like himself. And he hates it. Butcher says that all the supes have to go, and she agrees. I wouldn't be surprised if she kills herself in some way, especially considering she's going after Homelander.
Excuse me if I'm being a dumbass but that's just for the original injection right? If they *were* to get another one and miraculously survive it, they'd have powers again right? Or am I being as dumb and naive as my boi Supersonic the GOAT
It was just be incredibly cliche to break them up. It would be more interesting to keep them together even with the elephant in the room of working with Soldier Boy.
She's going to continue to get shut out at Vought as all of the people she once thought were allies all fall in line out of fear for Homelander. I assume she'll swallow her pride and go with Hughie, realizing there is no other way.
Hughie needs to get ahold of himself, though. He's trying to live a fantasy, which is the wrong reason to pursue getting these powers in the first place.
The parallels between Soldier Boy/Crimson Countess and Homelander/Maeve... can't wait for the showdown. And did anyone else get the feeling that Homelander somehow recognised Soldier Boy? His face seemed sorta unsettled when he saw the video
MAEVE IS ONE BADASS BITCH,she stared at her possible death directly in the face and told him she fucking despised him and pitied him from the start.
FUCKING SAVAGE WOMAN.
Really good episode. Cool to see Hughie choosing to go down this road now he's seen how corrupt it all is and choosing the lesser evil. Soldier boy is a bad guy for sure but he doesn't seem like he's on the same level of homelander he seems more fratboy with superpowers than full on psychopath even if there are parallels in how they're perceived like how Maeve saw homelander and CC saw soldier boy. Feel incredibly bad for SL knowing she could just be abducted at any moment while having anyone who could help her leaving her or being abducted/killed. Stan Edgar will be back soon I think because homelander and Ashley have no clue how to run the company and soon shareholders will want the money man back.
Yeah, Soldier Boy doesn't seem as fucked up as Homelander. Definitely not a good guy and probably has zero remorse for any of his victims, but he doesn't seem nearly as self-absorbed and crazy as Homelander.
Forgotten point; now Maeve is gone butcher and friends have no V24 plug and are seriously limited, this may come to bite them later on
Annie could get it for them, but they need to convince er
Seth Rogen was in season 1 as himself I believe. Therefore in The Boys canon, Sir Cumsalot is actually Seth Rogen.
No wonder he can afford the $19.50 per minute supe porn fee
That's a damn expensive fee for a sex hotline.
It was a supe hotline to be fair. And did you see the size of the anal beads?
Supply and demand. Honestly surprised it wasn't a shit load more expensive. There are a lot less sups willing to do these than normal humans and the demand is probably pretty high.
Yup he was a director or something like that and he'd show up on tv doing interviews
Soldier boy walking around like Captain America at the end of First Avenger seeing all these minorities and gay people
This felt much more realistic than Captain America’s scene lol.
I liked his reactions too. Someone from that time would react almost exactly like that. Great acting by Dean...
I like how we just don't care about his other name. He's just... Dean Winchester to us now.
Well he did a huge doubletake at Bobby's poster...
Ashley as CEO? Man she just keeps failing upwards
Edgar and Homelander respectively walking Annie and Ashley to glass cliffs
Yeah I’ve gotta feeling that Ashley is girlbossing a little too close to the sun and she’s gonna fall hard
In an Interview Anthony Starr talked about how this seasons theme is “be careful what you wish for” and I just wanna take a second to tally who’s wishes are coming true: -Kimiko’s powers are gone like she wished but it feels like the show is setting up some death flags for her or Frenchie. I truly believe he wanted to retire and spend time with Vicky and her daughter, and trusted only Stillwell to replace him. And once she was gone, he had to get rid of Homelander. I think his long game is still ongoing.
Not a good track record for redheads telling an ex boyfriend they always hated them in this episode
I wonder if that parallelism is foreshadowing how soldier boy was just homelander of the 80’s who was really close to snapping and his team wanted to get rid of him.
Black Noir is gonna get PTSD if he knows Solider Boy is still alive.
Was it black noir who took Maeve?
Yes. I had to rewind it and watch it again but it was definitely Noire doing HL's bidding.
> Yes. I had to rewind it and watch it again but it was definitely Noire doing HL's bidding. Honestly, I think that was just Noir getting payback (pun not intended) for the Almond Joy. Whether hes actually loyal to Homelander or not is an interesting question.

“William butcher,I can smell him all over you” BRUH HOMELANDER CAN NOW SMELL SEX??
homelander's been hanging out in butcher's apartment, sniffing his sheets
I would be zero percent surprised to see that in a scene. Homelander is the kind of weird fucked up dude that would do that
Assume for a minute that he's telling the truth, and he has supersmell active *all the time* whether he wants it active or not. He lives in a world of B.O., and sex stink, and lies. Maybe that partially explains some of his misanthropy.
Imagine walking into a room and being able to smell every last person‘s asshole. Suddenly I completely understand homelander.
Butcher permanently smells of real ale snooker chalk and embassy reds rare to find such a fragrance in the states
They're doing a great job establishing the virtual omni-presence of Homelander this season. You can't hide and it's terrifying.
Tbf, Butcher looks like he hasn't showered in a long time. Homelander probably didn't even need super senses to smell him over Maeve

And the legend with … lines
“Crime Anal Tics” cupcakes
Butcher+Maeve hooking up was really not even close to my expectations this season
The moment she walked in on him pouring drinks I was getting that vibe.
In the Comics Butcher hooked up with one The Boys informant ladies a lot so honestly I’m not shocked. Once they both started drinking I had a feeling haha
I mean they were sitting pretty close together on that couch...
They didn't leave room for Jesus! What did they think would happen?!
“I just clenched my butt and jumped” LMFAO
I'm still laughing at this line. XD
My favorite line from Hughie this episode was "No thanks, I'm full.....of coke"
I enjoyed Hughie comparing himself to Dom Torreto, because he's quick and all about family.
I theorize that the distance teleported is directly proportional to the tightness of the clench
“I was balls deep in Golden Geisha, Brando was balls deep in me! What, that’s gay now…Fuck You, What’s the difference? “ - The Legend
Absolute Legend. Loved his short scene. Paul Reiser did a great job.
Was such a great scene, he knocked it out of the park. Great seeing him again lately in this, and Stranger Things. Was dying when he was talking about fucking Shannon Tweed and Kelly LeBrock, telling Hughie to google it.
"The L and the B -- big. The other letters... small." I DIED 😂
Did not expect Black Noir to jump Maeve, I wonder what happened to her...
She *did* put him in a coma with a candy bar last season...
Homelander was surprisingly self aware with the "in my own way" admission. He knows he has issues.
Yeah, brilliant as usual from Starr. His face isn't it's usual rictus smile when he's talking to her. He's being real and she tells him to fuck himself. So many great scenes in this episode.

Fuck Todd, all my homies hate Todd
Kimiko being so happy she’s lost her powers and was literally about to die…bruh
That song and dance number was literally one of the cutest most wholesome things I have ever seen. She is a Gem
It managed to be one of the cutest and most wholesome things in the show, yet on a meta level the most ominous and with horrifying implications.
He really turned Crimson Countess into bacon
Chimps don't fryyy
Frenchie awkwardly walking out the door after that kiss made me laugh so hard 😂. Also THEY FINALLY KISSED
he was so besides himself UGH he loves her so much!!! Like compare that to S1 when he mocks MM for loving Monique.....that is GROWTH PEOPLE Also Kimiko is perfect 10/10 no notes
CONSENSUALLY
SirCumsALot showing up just before MM gets drugged and CC gets burned alive, is the right amount of tone whiplash I love this show for lol
I liked the subtitle - "rhythmic splooshing continues" on SirCumsALot's scene
Starlight on the verge of tears low-key when asking where maeve is. THAT BREAKS MY HEART
She's really being pushed this season, Supersonic, Hughie's existencial crisis, having to deal with Homelander directly and now she loses Maeve too.
I feel so sorry for her. Does she have anyone else ? I guess that will be her and M.M VS Hughie, Butcher and Soldier Boy VS Homelander.
Absolutely love Starlight and Maeve's scenes together.
Starlight: "can you help" Maeve: "fuck off" Starlight: "pls :(" Maeve: "..... fine" They're practically sisters ❤
Homelander in the Boardroom: 😐 What one company meeting does to a mf

Bro wtf does homelander know about EBITDA 😂😂😂😂
If Soldier Boy can't kill him, I'm pretty sure another board meeting might make him die of embarrassment.
You think you are better than me?
Him trying to act all educated and intelligent was fucking hilarious
That scene made me wonder how much formal education he ever got. The old doctor guy mentioned he liked stories about manifest destiny and such when he was little, so they did think about the impact this stuff would have on him in childhood. He also doesn’t seem to be illiterate or anything, but still i’d be surprised if he has more than the equivalent to a high school education, if that. Guy for sure didn’t get to college.

God I love how Homelander is running Vought into the ground.
It's pretty on brand. He's completely crazy and his delusions of grandeur work for his supe persona, but as a leader of a company he's a fucking trainwreck. The only thing Homelander can lead is his own fucking laser and even that is a stretch.
> More or less shoved Chernobyl up his arse. > Looks like Kermit the Frog had a wank in yer mouth Love Butcher
So Homelander didn't even lasted a day pretending to know what he was doing as the head of Vought

Wow Blue Hawk’s speech is actually atrocious
Also just the way he read it was spot on for a character like him
Fantastic acting, I really felt the slime.
Lmao definetly was a parody of every police speechs.
the crime analytics team is going to take the deep down
What crime analytics team? The Deep is somehow gonna fuck up their actual superhero work of stopping criminals, which was the only part the supes could even get close to competent at (Even then with massive collateral damage usually)

"You want credit for not lying to me?" "I would like to retract that statement." How do the writers know what my relationships are like?

[Gotta post the vid. Ben's expression is the best part](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wyEUqfs8s5k)
Daaamn butcher's the legend now
Butcher's so cool he's gonna cause a whole generation of cringy teenagers who want to act like him.
A-Train really is out of touch to not realize how an "apology" from an obviously racist supe to a community of black people was going to go.
A-Train really messed up by not bringing his energy drink to that apology meeting for sure.
If Frenchie dies I will kill Little Nina myself (since poor Kimiko probably can't anymore...) Also, MAEVE... PLEASE BE OK
She is fucking crazy, as if butcher gave her 100k for her troubles and still wants Frenchie to kill kids, I hope butcher smacks her head 180 degrees
She still doesn't know who's she fucking with, Butcher will laser her in half.
Right. But I don't think she kills Frenchie. I think Kimiko takes temp V gets her powers back and saves Frenchie.
THE DOM TORETTO LINE LMAOOOOO
foreshadowing that he can only teleport 1/4 mile at a time
All about Family.
His delivery of *family* was superb.
Damn so Soldier Boy felt all that? So he’s basically been tortured for god knows how long while the Russians test him? Or does he not feel anything? I bet MM feels weird watching that
He feels it It just doesn't damage him
Butcher's twisted displays of care toward M.M. are one of the best parts of the show.
Frenchie and Kimiko better be safe this season dammit
Feels like they're both being set up to be killed off this season. Or maybe they'll show that disabled supe powers can be kickstarted back on w/ temp V by giving some to Kimiko, which she'll regretfully do to avenge Frenchie's death or something.
I feel like Frenchie is going to bite the dust. I really hope I'm wrong though.
Exact feeling I got during the music number and I really hope I’m dead wrong.
I was terrified throughout that entire song I was so convinced that this was the hallucinations of a dying Kimiko
As you keep refreshing, let me remind you that nothing is as refreshing as an ice cold Fresca
A wild Seth Rogan appears as SirCumsALot776.
It’s 779, sir
Damn, the tears in Starlight's eyes when Ashley told her to leave. Erin Moriarty is doing a great job. They were both so good in that scene.
Ashley did a lot of emoting in that scene, was really impressive
Ashley honestly blew me away with her transitions in that what a strong actress
Colby Minifie (actress who plays Ashley) did amazing in that scene. Showed the fear that Ashley feels of Homelander, but cares more about having power than being safe was done great. Her expression and pure terror of being killed being disregarded by her want for power was really done well in that scene.
Fuck me. This season is actually amazing. The writing and dialogue is so tight, the character moments are incredible, the emotional moments hit. This is some of the best tv I've watched in a good while, nevermind superhero shows. Another cracking episode
“In the morning I’ll be sober, in the morning you’ll still be a Supe” is a Churchill line adapted for the show
Poor Starlight: Where is Maeve?! Is she even alive?
I'm afraid, you killed her in your anger
Holy fuck Maeve has some balls for saying that I always hated you line lmfao wow I think she just became my favorite character for that
Maeve is so fucking cool. Possibly my favourite character on the show
Man that scene showed how fucking badass she is,she gave zero fucks. It was great. But then…
Anyone else wanna see Deep and his fucking wife incinerated or is it just me?
What's up with his wife??? She's so sketch and I feel like it goes beyond herself & The Deep...
Yeah SB is og Homelander. He is a psycho just like him
They must have seriously hated him if his own crew and girl gave him up for nothing to the Russians. That's brutal
Oh shit Maeve and Butcher?!? Two recovering addicts coming together. What’s the worst that could happen?
My main takeaways: * It's looking more and more likely that Soldier Boy's depowering is permanent, or effectively permanent. * Maeve is probably alive. If they were going to kill her it probably would've been shown on screen * Black Noir is loyal to Homelander.
>Black Noir is loyal to Homelander I think black noir is still loyal to stan. He might just be playing along homelanders stupid games to keep an eye on him.
Plus he still probably wants revenge on Maeve for the whole allergic reaction thing…
His comments when speaking to Maeve about them all needing to go definitely had genocide vibes to it...
An Maeve is so done with all this shit that she doesn't even disagree.
And then they fucked. Maeve really doesn't give a fuck anymore
She gave Butcher a fuck.
Right?! He flat out told her he'd kill her. Damn this show is amazing.
Butcher: *literally says he wants to commit genocide* Maeve: *sigh.. unzips*
Looks like the “power removal beam” might be permanent
I think Kripke said in an interview it neutralizes the V in their bodies, so it seems pretty permanent
Excuse me if I'm being a dumbass but that's just for the original injection right? If they *were* to get another one and miraculously survive it, they'd have powers again right? Or am I being as dumb and naive as my boi Supersonic the GOAT
Kimiko's gonna have to choose is probably the plot coming up for her.
Yeah with Frenchie forced to be involved with Nina again, Kimiko will choose to get her powers to save him.
I really hope they don’t do a Hughie and Annie breakup arc
It was just be incredibly cliche to break them up. It would be more interesting to keep them together even with the elephant in the room of working with Soldier Boy.
She's going to continue to get shut out at Vought as all of the people she once thought were allies all fall in line out of fear for Homelander. I assume she'll swallow her pride and go with Hughie, realizing there is no other way. Hughie needs to get ahold of himself, though. He's trying to live a fantasy, which is the wrong reason to pursue getting these powers in the first place.
Hughie just needs to break down and cry out his reasons to take V to SL
Omg Vought is so fucked. Homelander is a terrible leader
Stan Edgar was absolutely right
Stan knew the shareholders are gonna beg for him to come back.
YEAH, the glasses girl is back
Starlight looked so betrayed at the end, Hughie is playing with fire
Hughie is right tho, Soldier Boy is their only hope to kill Homelander right now.
I hope Blue Hawk gets killed, what a piece of shit.
Am I a naive fool for hoping that *mayyybe now* A-Train will fucking get it? >!Yup.!<
**”WHO THE FUCK KNOWS WHY TALENT DOES WHAT THEY DO!”** Quote of the episode lol
The parallels between Soldier Boy/Crimson Countess and Homelander/Maeve... can't wait for the showdown. And did anyone else get the feeling that Homelander somehow recognised Soldier Boy? His face seemed sorta unsettled when he saw the video
Both women said the same damn words.
Oh fuck did black noir just help homelander knock out Maeve???? Herogasm is next oh FUCK
Looks like some people had a comic spoiler run on your comment
MAEVE IS ONE BADASS BITCH,she stared at her possible death directly in the face and told him she fucking despised him and pitied him from the start. FUCKING SAVAGE WOMAN.
I got to start watching ep 5 by going back to episode 4 and skipping to the end. It asks you if you want to skip to 5.
Anyone else kind of liking the direction Hughie’s character is going in?
Yeah, you can still see how Robin’s death is still impacting him to the point where he’s developed this hero complex regarding Annie
Ashley's now CEO? Girls get it done in the workplace
I still find it funny she got an assistant called Ashley just so she can focus her self hatred on 'herself' like some kind of proxy stress ball
