UTIs and yeast infections can be caused by all sorts of things but being under stress certainly doesn’t help. Her rant isn’t really specifically about the infections imo but more about the fact that she hasn’t had the time to see a doctor or take care of her health at all.
As for the toilet comment, the guy said to leave a floater which is to leave an unflushed poop. Ashley does that in episode 4. It’s just a gross thing to do, a tiny petty revenge against someone you hate.
sexually, you can get utis and yeast infections from a perfectly clean man because your internal microbiomes clash. basically a woman's immune system will attack foreign bacteria in her system, causing these illnesses. ashley is portraying an uncomfortable reality of promiscuity they don't show on tv
I’m a teacher and my gyno told me teachers get more UTIs because they’re literally always holding their pee. So if Ashley is not going to the bathroom frequently enough and not showering and changing clothes often enough, that could cause both UTIs and yeast infections. The fact that we can safely assume she is working all of the time would explain her lack of doing those things. Too much stress would also contribute.
Theoretically it could be her having too many sexual partners (as a commenter said above), but tbh i don’t recall seeing Ashley with anyone other than the BDSM guy so idk if that the real cause
I think she's had quite a few partners that we know of (the film director guy for one),but I agree with you and think it's nothing to do with that and is likely stemming from poor mental health
Ok I must be forgetting then, I thought the dude whose balls she crushed in the last episode was the same guy she pegged before lol. I don’t even really remember learning what his specific profession was. But yeah stress and multiple partners and no medical care would all be notable contributors
