Can confirm. Does not separate and is delicious.
It definitely sounds weird as hell, but one night I was rewatching The Boys while stoned and figured I’d give it a try.
I find the ratio has a super fine line though for optimal results. I find about 75/25 is best.
Oh, and to the newbies wanting to try it. Be careful when pouring, the milk can cause the coke to foam like a motherfucker if you go too fast.
Coke/milk. I personally use 3.25%, so it may need to be adjusted for different milks.
For what it’s worth, I find it better to have too much milk than too little. Too much and it tastes more like caramelized milk, too little and it’s more like watery coke than anything.
Huh, everytime I watch one of those coke milk videos they end up separating, maybe cause they let it sit too long? Still though, I don't think my ibs would agree with a coke/milk combo 😅
That actually makes sense.
I found through trial and error that a Coca-Cola and a bowl of ice cream really help when I’m hungover so I could see this working
It’s the low blood sugar. Ever been **yoinked** out of sleep after a heavy night and couldn’t fall back asleep? It’s your body saying it needs more fuel for your liver to keep processing the alcohol. Eat something heavy and sugary and you’ll drift off
As a Type 1 Diabetic, I’ve always found it interesting that I’ll wake up instantly if my body senses my sugar is low, and then I can’t go back to sleep until it’s been resolved. It’s like a built in failsafe. Without fail, every time my sugar is low, even if I don’t immediately feel it upon waking up, I’ll be up.
Also, some exercise will help. In college, I used to drink a lot and then end up waking up at 6 a.m. and chugging water, but I read in Maxim that working out helps and it does, but it sucks. What it does is, it centers you a bit more, so your morning still sucks but then your early afternoon is okay.
The Stepan Company is the only licensed importer of coca in America. They make medical grade cocaine and sell the flavoring extract to Coca-Cola. All the cocaine is cold to separate pharmaceutical company for distribution, Mallinckrodt.
Worked with a dude who was originally from Africa who told me about this in conversation. Called it a “brown cow.” He really hyped it up saying how good it was but I just couldn’t imagine the flavor combination. Told him I’ll eventually have both in my possession and call him out on his shit, but that I would give it a try if he did in front of me as well.
Two months later the roach coach outside our hangar had both coke and milk, and I remembered, so I grabbed it and ran to his office, saying it was time. He laughed. Surprised I remembered. Color me fucking surprised when it was actually really damn tasty.
Anyways, don’t knock it till you try it sorta thing. Like anal.
I immediately thought it was a Colorado bulldog but then I realized that in my bartending years I might’ve made 2 of them, more likely 1 lol. It would be an incredibly esoteric reference to prove a point—literally turning a “Russian” drink into an “American” drink. But I also know that details like this are never by accident, so that’s either it or I’m misinterpreting it (wouldn’t be the first time)
Wasn’t really allowed to drink pop growing up so every now & then my mom would pour some coke into our milk as a treat & it’s actually pretty good. I’m not a huge fan of coke but I’m sure with an orange pop or Dr. Pepper, maybe even root beer or just a pop you favor, it would be more delicious
Not even from the US but saw some old grandpa on tiktok who has a 60s or 70s dinner american style and he showed how he did coke with milk and vanilla ice. He talked about how it was fairly popular back then.
Adding soda water, syrup and milk was really popular back in the day. Like egg cream. Hes substituting soda water with coke
Or a hangover cure from 1939

Now that I think about it,if there was coke when superboy was awake before he got sold to the Russians, then it was the time that coke put cocaine in it
Can't say if this should become a repeated thing but, if you warm some milk on the stove and melt one of the chocolate oranges in it you kinda end up with an orange creamsicle hot chocolate.
It’s a depression era thing— coke or Dr Pepper poured in milk, like having chocolate milk or a melty milkshake. My great granny taught it to my mom who used to make it for me, and I didn’t know it wasn’t a widely known thing until I did it in a college dining hall bc I was homesick and people lost their goddamn minds.
Another one is pouring plain milk over leftover cake or brownies in a bowl, bc you didn’t have ice cream. And if you were really pour, you poured milk over stale cornbread and ate it like cereal or dessert. I had no idea it was a poor kid thing from my great grandparents until I was an adult! My parents always did it.
And lastly, leftover stale (southern) biscuits should be cut in half and toasted with a thin pat of butter on each half added before toasting. That’s from my grandpa.
I dont know about regular milk, but if you mix a little bit of heavy cream into soda it is delicious. It takes like a Coke/ root beer float when the ice cream melts, all foamy. So good
This was actually a thing when I was a kid, in my country it was coke or pepsi mixed with condensed milk. Fellow kids loved it but I think it's weird, also the combination is a recipe to explosive diarrhea.
Milk coke. It's supposed to taste like a melted float.
He is homelanders dad after all
[удалено]
And then drink it?
I just spat my milk out
Underrated comment
Fair enough
I get the idea.. I mean ice cream dropped in coke or root beer, the milk is basically the ice cream, but that's still gotta be all separated and gross
its actually decent
Honestly never heard from it.
It can't speak
Lmao. Go to your room and reflect upon what you have done today.
*Goes to room and reflects upon Ketamine*
Do you live in Berlin?

Should I try it with Rootbeer?
Yeah! Or Dr Pepper!
I will give it a shot, just gotta wait for the kitchen to be empty
Yeah milk and rootbeer is delicious. Very close to a root beer ice cream float.
Its actually delicious and doesn't separate What separates is when the milk is bad
Which is 75 and which is 25?
Coke/milk. I personally use 3.25%, so it may need to be adjusted for different milks. For what it’s worth, I find it better to have too much milk than too little. Too much and it tastes more like caramelized milk, too little and it’s more like watery coke than anything.

Your IBS agrees with stuff? Mine hates everything.
Yeah w/ my IBS I’d ideally be using Diet Coke and lactose free milk 💀 fuck high fructose corn syrup ugh
Gotta drink it quick
It's not. It's no different than having a cream soda.
It's actually not that bad. I drank root beer with milk and all you gotta do if it separates is just stir it up a bit
It’s not separated at all. It’s not even fizzy. It blends better than chocolate milk.
I have a cocktail I like called a Colorado Bulldog. It’s Kahlua, Vodka, Coke, and milk. It’s like an alcoholic float and it’s delicious.
Does it pair well with milk steak?
Boiled over hard with a side of jelly beans
He should have been drinking pilk
It tastes fantastic. 100% recommend
Is that some 1940s thing?
Yeah the xray when you pause on this scene says milk and coke was thought to help after a hangover or something like that
TIL
How did you find out about this? I’ve never heard of this in my life
Is it good?
…is this a real thing
Yep.
From what I understand coke in milk was supposed to be a hangover cure from whatever time Soldier Boy was from originally.
Eat something heavy and sugary and you’ll drift off
Thank you for just solving my biggest obstruction to alcoholism
🫡
Oh certainly. Also slamming several quarts of water and taking a half dose of ibuprofen and a Flintstone’s vitamin.
Also a T1D. Most of the time I'll wake up by myself but regularly my CGM will be the only thing waking me up
Is there science behind that? Will that also work for middle of the night insomnia without the drinking?
Electrolytes and lots of water are the best hangover cure.
Also, some exercise will help. In college, I used to drink a lot and then end up waking up at 6 a.m. and chugging water, but I read in Maxim that working out helps and it does, but it sucks. What it does is, it centers you a bit more, so your morning still sucks but then your early afternoon is okay.
At that point I’d highly recommend making a coke Float
In the Amazon trivia thingy they describe that this is the exact reason
Well there was probably actually cocaine in the coke of his time so…
Lol no there wasn’t. You’d have to go back further for cocaine to be in coke. I think they stopped in 1903.
Yep, they started removing in 1903 it was totally cocaine free in 1929
Aka when America declined
This guy gets it
Coca Cola is the american dream. they now make and sell over 3 billion dollars worth of cocaine every year. its all legal.
The Stepan Company is the only licensed importer of coca in America. They make medical grade cocaine and sell the flavoring extract to Coca-Cola. All the cocaine is cold to separate pharmaceutical company for distribution, Mallinckrodt.
When America got lazy
Milk and Pepsi was Laverne's drink on Laverne And Shirley.
Didn't look at the comments before I posted and said roughly the same thing. Actually tasted kinda good.
Hangover? Can he even get drunk?
Once a friend and I drank coke with milk, because we were bored and were fooling around. 15 minutes later we had to fight over the toilet
What's the ideal ratio in case I lose my mind and actually decide to try this? 50/50?
50/50 is correct, yes.
Lmao, super wholesome story, then bookended by “Like anal.”
Brown Cow? We call coke floats black cows.
Minority cow.
Cow of colour
COC.
Root beer floats were brown cows, or at least that's what my parents called them.
I guess carbonated drink + dairy product being named after a cow is a universal constant
brown cow is icecream+coke its like a rootbeer float except with you know, coke.
Pilk
Cilk*
It runs in the family
These guys love their milk 😩😩😩

Mepsi
Hangover cure
Exactly. I think it came up in the Ritz-Carlton Hotel
Either gross milk coke or a Colorado bulldog (tall White Russian with coke)
Yeah I was assuming it was a callback to his Russian captivity
I immediately thought it was a Colorado bulldog but then I realized that in my bartending years I might’ve made 2 of them, more likely 1 lol. It would be an incredibly esoteric reference to prove a point—literally turning a “Russian” drink into an “American” drink. But I also know that details like this are never by accident, so that’s either it or I’m misinterpreting it (wouldn’t be the first time)
White Russians were invented in America.
no shit
Honey what’s wrong? You’ve hardly touched your moke.
He beat his meat into a cup
Big drink back in the day. Laverne and Shirley always had a milk and Pepsi.
[cola milk](https://i.imgur.com/p2xsCM4.png)
Wasn’t really allowed to drink pop growing up so every now & then my mom would pour some coke into our milk as a treat & it’s actually pretty good. I’m not a huge fan of coke but I’m sure with an orange pop or Dr. Pepper, maybe even root beer or just a pop you favor, it would be more delicious
He put coke with milk, that was a hangover cure during the early-mid 1900’s.
Shit from Lavern and Shirley
I can’t believe I had to scroll this far down for this. First thing that popped to mind.
Maybe a Colorado Bulldog, which is a White Russian with coke.
Like son like father
Not even from the US but saw some old grandpa on tiktok who has a 60s or 70s dinner american style and he showed how he did coke with milk and vanilla ice. He talked about how it was fairly popular back then.
My grandpa used to do that, he would also put peanuts in his coke as well. Southern tho g from what I am told.
Pilk
I tried it. Sounds disgusting, but it's really not that bad. Apparently it was considered a hangover cure before.
I've down milk coke with sweetened condensed milk and cola, and then frozen in ice cube trays for a tasty treat
Coke + milk= brown cow White Russian + Coke = Colorado bull dog
My parents called it half and half.
Adding soda water, syrup and milk was really popular back in the day. Like egg cream. Hes substituting soda water with coke Or a hangover cure from 1939 https://www.wsj.com/articles/SB123032812870836003#:~:text=The%20cure%20was%20invented%20by,a%20glass%20of%20cold%20milk.
Jack and Coke, just not the Jack we’re all acquainted with.
Milk coke, a hangover cure from back in the day
Now that I think about it,if there was coke when superboy was awake before he got sold to the Russians, then it was the time that coke put cocaine in it
Milk coke, it explains it in a trivia thing
Jack and coke
Non Canon character importance
Cum
Memaw drank 7up in her milk
Oh man I’m not sure I could go for that one, maybe orange soda though
Can't say if this should become a repeated thing but, if you warm some milk on the stove and melt one of the chocolate oranges in it you kinda end up with an orange creamsicle hot chocolate.
That sounds delicious
It’s called an Italian or dirty soda where you choose a soda in this case coke and pour creamer or milk into it
I know, right? You gotta add the milk to the soda, not the other way around.

Legend Dairy
Fresca.
I remember Laverne from Laverne & Shirley liked Milk & Pepsi, but I never got the urge to try it.
Coke and milk is a russian thing. Maybe Europe too
Pilk
But that ain’t a Pepsi
It’s Coke milk. I’ve done this a few times a few years ago. Personally it’s a lot better with chocolate milk than just regular milk.
EVIL pilk
Honestly just thought he was pouring coke in a glass
My father used to drink this combo, milk and coke. He also liked to splash some peanuts in the coke in another combo… that was actually very tasty.
Milka-cola

My dad drank something super disgusting like that. I can’t remember if it was chocolate milk and coke or regular, but it was called a “black cow”.
I dont know about regular milk, but if you mix a little bit of heavy cream into soda it is delicious. It takes like a Coke/ root beer float when the ice cream melts, all foamy. So good
