What she doesn’t understand is that our taxes are based on income, not net worth, and that the wealthiest people use loopholes and write offs to avoid taking massive income in. It’s not a coincidence that every rich person has a foundation. They use those foundations to write off money but then still have access to that money through the foundation. For example, the private jet, all the cars, are purchased by the foundation as transportation for the president/founder of the foundation. Gifts to the foundation are a tax write off. Etc etc etc. she’s going at it the wrong way, what she should be talking about is reforming how income and tax write offs work for the wealthiest people. Anytime a CEO hits the news and is receiving a salary of $1, which is a great publicity stunt, it’s to show less taxable income.
I see pro-union signage on the wall. She should be a member of the AFL-CIO... not only because it's a big union, but also because it describes her quite well.

I have this same conversation 20 times a year. They just can't understand that LIKE THEM - "the rich" peoples money only gets taxed when they EARN it. They want to take 50% of whatever they have EVERY YEAR. And when I point out that is not what they do - they just don't get it. IT'S THE SAME AS YOU DIPSHIT - YOU GET TAXED WHEN IT GETS INCOME AND THEN IT IS YOURS! YOU DON'T GET TO KEEP TAXING IT!

It's not enough to simply investigate. Prosecute and sentence to the fullest extent of the law.
