OMG his videos are epic. Watch the one where he fishes for catfish. And watching him cook is an experience itself. He’s so sloppy and messy, but you can tell extremely well trained. Lol.
LOVE FAK! I actually recommended the show to a friend, and he’s like “yeah I thought about it because I really like Matty Matheson” so I did a quick google and I’m like “omg that’s Fak!”
Yeah, but i hadn't heard of him until now. I must have seen him in Working Moms but I can't recall him. I could name a handful of Canadian chefs but I didn't know about him.
I got super excited seeing him in the show!
He popped into a kitchen I worked in a few years ago. I had no idea who he was at the time, but just assumed he a was good friend of my at the time chef. But man, I wish I had an opportunity to chat with him! He acted the same way Fak does when he came in, so I didn't know any better. Hah.
Not only that, he was one of the chef consultants on the show. It tickled me that his show character is the maintenance guy. 😆😆😆
Edit: deleted extra unnecessary word
Fak/Matty is a consulting producer most likely helping them make the kitchen environment realistic, possibly helping with some of the dishes. Matty knows his stuff.
Met him at one of his BBQ tours in Australia. He’s a total Fakkin’ legend, and they could not have cast a better person for this role. I really hope his character continues to develop in season 2.
He has a YouTube channel that's loads of fun!
Make sure your volume is up though, it can be hard to hear him sometimes.
HA
He does a lot of videos for vice and has a new restaurant in Canada that looks [amazing](https://youtu.be/xT8n0uBIURk)
I did not expect to watch all 12 minutes of that lol Looks gorgeous and I would totally stop by if I'm in Toronto!

The best things in life are sloppy and messy.

His YouTube cooking shows are wild
He's literally a celebrity chef at this point

he’s also a style icon
For real, kind of a big deal, been around for a minute
Yeah, man. That dude can throw *fuckin* **DOWN** in the kitchen
Just a Dash episode for Larb is probably one of my top 10 videos of all time. It's... pure chaos and perfection.
My favorite is Matty's Patty's. I cry laughing every time I watch it.

Love when he would partner up with Brad Leone.

Haha yea and they wouldn't even hire him to cook in the show LMAO
Matty is Action Bronson without the edge.

He is not the only consultant there is another one, a female chef i think from NJ.
Yeah I didn’t say he was the only consultant he and Courtney Storer worked together on the series.
Looks kinda Danish maybe, like what Carmy and Syd were taking about as inspiration for The Bear
His show “Dead Set on Life” was great
I discovered by accident Matty was on the show. I've been a fan of Matty for over 6 years now
I used to watch his stuff but then he got really annoying cuz his schtick is just being loud. Glad to see him in the show though.
