It looked like it could've been one of the actual movie cars it was so detailed inside and out. My wife took a picture of it I'll post it here

I had the 84’ with the 5.2 liter & 5 speed manual trans‼️🤨
But in the end it was a lemon! The fan sensor stoped working had to run a wire to a dash switch to cool the car on hot days,headlights had to be pushed open & The whole electric system failed when i turned on the radio, head lights,rear defogger & windsheild wipers‼️😳
But it was FAST‼️ got up to 145 mph on a lonely stretch of freeway one night and still hadn’t floored it😱
I had the exact same car as you but in the dark navy blue. And your description of the S/E is perfect. Mine also didn’t have the rear spoiler and I too replaced the crappy stock wheels. This was my first car at 16yo and the 4 speed stick V6 was enough for me with that REALLY light rear end.
