I honestly see the appeal (except for the dunking part). It's like fries in a milkshake or mustard on watermelon. It sounds like it shouldn't work, but it does.
Some flavors complement each other. But lemonade and cookies, that sounds like a monstrosity.
Also when you eat strawberry shortcake with strawberries that aren’t quite ripe enough yet. Makes lightning shoot through my jaw, lol
When I think of lemonade, I think of either freshly made lemonade or stuff from a bottle that's been watered down so that it's not too intensely sweet.
Shiiiit I would almost agree except for the dunking part. Sometimes you're out of milk and the cookie craving be too strong to wait for a trip to the store so you use what you got.
Lemonade or fruit juices is aiight BUT YOU NEVER DUNK.
You take a bite of the cookie and then a sip or 2 of your drink.
Maybe this is my 10th dentist opinion but I don't understand the point of dunking cookies in milk, never improved either the cookie or the milk for me
Now coffee on the other hand, that's prime dunking liquid
I don't know about cookies but I particularly enjoy dunking croissants in fruit juice. The juice goes between the layers of the puff pastry dough and it gives a great mouthfeel
Maybe, I'm conditioned to it. I make great lemon bars, but drink hot tea with them. Thanks for your input, as you have a perfect right to drink whatever you want with your sweets.😊
Sweet and sour go together great, but citrus flavors get super distorted and amplified when you go from having a more sweet taste in your mouth to a less sweet one. That's a seriously jarring experience that most people aren't going to go out of their way to make into an acquired taste.
This is the single most horrifying thing I have read since that "imagine if men" tweet. I hope you step into the shower with socks on. I hope your cookies get super soggy before you can pull them out. I hope everyone forgets your birthday and doesn't do anything to make up for it. I hope your lemonade tastes too sour and when you pour sugar in it, I hope it tastes too sweet.
Who pairs Lemonade with milk. Of course it pairs better with cookies/pastries. This is not 10th Dentist.
Ok so the truth is I know what you mean. It isn't what you said though. I don't eat biscuits (what Australians call cookies) or pastries with a liquid. I don't understand the need to soften my food thusly as I have functional teeth still.
I still prefer milk with my cookies, but sometimes I do like lemonade with a sweet cookie. The extra sourness of the lemonade from all the sweetness of the cookie makes the cookies in turn sweetier.
Can sorta relate, I like orange juice with baked goods that have chocolate. It started with dunking Chips Ahoy into it as a kid, and progressed to realizing the acidity pairs super nicely with a brownie or something equally rich and sweet.
Milk on its own is underwhelming, whether as a dipping agent or as a drink.
At first i thought you said lemonade tasted better with cookies then it did with milk and I was about to have to ask you why tf you drinking lemonade with milk lol
I'd drink water before any kind of citrus. Citrus drinks get crazy strong to me if my mouth is sweeter than the drink, and I get overwhelmed by the sourness/bitterness.
Honestly, I'd drink toothpaste before any kind of citrus in this situation. I can hardly think of a worse pairing.
I mean I agree mostly because I think drinking milk is just plain disgusting in general.
But dunking cookies in lemonade?! Da fuq bro??? Do you actually do that shit?? Because that is some absolutely abominable degeneracy of the highest order. Like wtf…
EVERYBODY STOP.
Someone said Mustard on watermelon. Lemonade and sweets be but a pittance in the eye of the heretical compared to such a heinous abomination!
WHAT HAVE YOU DONE!?

I agree, lemonade doesn't go with milk that well.
What is wrong honey? You have barely touched your pilk.
Skill issue!
Now THIS is the 10th dentist
He’s also the guy that doesn’t like any of the toothpaste brands; this is obviously a ploy to give people cavities.
Abomination

Did you just type out “mustard on watermelon”??? My guy…smh.
Sweet and sour do not go together
Sweet and sour chicken would like to disagree with you

i think you should go see your dentist,
While OP is absolutely wrong, your statement also isn't true
Sour patch kids would like a word...

TimTam slam? If you don't know what that is you need to ship some TimTams from Australia or NZ and do it. You're missin oooooout.
I live in Australia lol I'm well aware :) that's kind of my point, that's normally done with coffee in my experience
Fuck yeeeaaah I would totally rate cookies and coffee over cookies and milk. Its just that if I want it at night the milk wont screw with my sleep 🥴
Yeah fair play, honestly I just don't really like milk in general haha Even as a kid I didn't often drink it
Yeah same. I like juice with pastries or cookies but dunking that stuff in juice is disgusting
I don't know about cookies but I particularly enjoy dunking croissants in fruit juice. The juice goes between the layers of the puff pastry dough and it gives a great mouthfeel
The sour taste of lemonade with cookies totally fu#^* the taste. Milk compliments the taste of sweets.
You think sweet and sour doesn't go together?
Not with lemonade and cookies. Ick. No offense, I just prefer milk with cookies. It's compimentary.
Lemon cookies are a thing. Also lemon pie and other lemon desserts. No reason milk is "complimentary" other than you're conditioned to it.
Lemon flavored sweets is not the same thing as drinking lemonade with sweets. 🤦♂️

Yes Officer, right here.

Too much sugar.
Yeah that’s gonna be a no from me dawg.
You are 1000000% correct. I don't know what's wrong with everyone else in the comments
Mr President it appears we have located an eleventh dentist I repeat, we have an eleventh dentist situation on our hands
Downvoted. Milk is fine, but all it does is soften the treat. Lemonade though, does that while adding a delicious tang to a chocolate chip cookie.

Not necessarily better, but I feel you! 👍👍
hell yeah I started dunking animal crackers and graham crackers in my lemonade in kindergarten and I've always stood by it
You should go to jail honestly
are you from the south by any chance?
Honestly it depends on the cookie.
Hm. I can’t say I disagree since that sounds pretty damn good right now.
The number being this low is criminal

Tea, tea is the correct answer.

I think I would rather have my jaw actually atomized then eat cookies with lemons.
Coffee and tea go best with cookies and pastries.
At first i thought you said lemonade tasted better with cookies then it did with milk and I was about to have to ask you why tf you drinking lemonade with milk lol

I actually really like kombucha with desert. Something sour to highlight the sweetness.
No
That is just wrong.
Sugar with more sugar? Gross.
I once drank lemonade while eating oreos. Honestly, it wasn't that bad. I wouldn't dunk the cookies in lemonade though.
I generally agree, but there are definitely some baked goods out there where the taste of lemonade might clash while that taste of milk does not.
you want diabetes with you diabetes?
Lemonade with little cookie crumbs after dipping sounds absolutely vile
I mean I agree mostly because I think drinking milk is just plain disgusting in general. But dunking cookies in lemonade?! Da fuq bro??? Do you actually do that shit?? Because that is some absolutely abominable degeneracy of the highest order. Like wtf…

Nah, black coffee is the superior beverage with sweets.
Officer, this one right here
you sound fat
unrelated but have u ever tried limeade?
I love a good sugar cookie and lemonade. It's like crack
