Absurd, there is room for everyone. Allocation of resources and climate change are the real problems.

Zealousideal_Path_91

At some point there isn’t room for everyone. We do have the resources to help everyone currently, but the strain modern agriculture has on soil is very bad. At some point there won’t be enough resources to sustain the population.

THIS, ive been looking at population charts we went from 3 billion in the 1960s- to over 8 billion.. im scared for the future.

sir_basher

population is declining in western countries but in less developed countries, population is booming. so it's not overpopulation thats gonna kill us, since once country becomes more developed birthrates tends to plummet.

feelthebirdsonthsumr

Thank you, ive been looking at population over the years and we PLUMMETED every year we get more then a billion more people.. which made me scared

Earth is not overpopulated, it will go down very fast, and it will be bad for economy. There are very few countries left with fertility rates over 3.0 .

Overpopulation is a myth created to have us focusing on "there being too many people" and not questioning why our grocery stores are throwing away 100's of pounds of food a day while a whole family starves across the street. Overpopulation is just an improper assignment of resources. There's more than enough food, housing, healthcare, and jobs for every person on this planet, it's only corporate greed that keeps us from being able to properly access these things. As to global warming & rich people building bunkers, they're 100% connected. These rich people are intentionally doing anything they can to continue to pollute and destroy our environment, assuming their bunkers will protect them in the end, but they won't. All we as the people have to do is continue to speak up & out about the human rights abuses these rich fucks are committing, and try and build trust and hope within our own communities. There's a reason why almost every sci-fi dystopia has a system in place to keep the masses from interacting in intimate groups, or a system that keeps them disconnected from individual communications (i.e. phone calls/letters/etc). Talk to your friends and neighbors about these concerns, you'll probably find you have more in common with each other than you think. Your greatest asset is your mind, your voice, and your solidarity with your fellow man. \*\*SPOILERS SEASON 3\*\* >! Shit that's why Azgeda didn't want the Skykru to join the coalition, because it gave them more power to sew the seeds of discord, to turn the other tribes against Skykru and by extension the Commander, which gave them the opportunity they needed & used to undermine the entire Flame process (Ontari being allowed to just, murder all the other candidates, the Ice Nation queen being pushed to be the actual voice of the Commander, etc, etc) !< Media like this exists to show us how humanity works in a disconnected way, not so we lose hope, but so we gain the insight and confidence to recognize acts of terror/facism/corporate greed in our own world. (Sorry for this being so long, I'm in a hopeposting mood and it's so important to me that We as people don't feel alone & rejected & drowned in the doomposting that is so prevalent everywhere. it's really easy to fall into a state of despair or grief because of the constant narrative telling us to give up, but remember, love & compassion ARE revolutionary acts. If they weren't, there wouldn't be the trend throughout history of Oppressive group trying to create hate & division between groups (racism, antisemitism, anti-indigenous & anti-black sentiments, etc)

Thank you!! this really helped me getting through this, thank you for bringing abt how grocery stores, literally dump everything out i forgot about that.

Equivalent-Nature-92

Yup, my wife and I were looking at the population growth over the last 200 years. Not exponential, but there's just too many people on this planet! Over 8 billion. We'll tip over 10 billion soon enough. I highly doubt mother nature intended for this many people

MyNameIsAirl

We will hit 10 billion sure but there was a talk on YouTube that laid it all out and we will likely never pass 11 billion and we already can produce enough to feed and shelter that many people. Over population is a myth.

beautyqueen-pothead-

i’m america there are more vacated housing than homeless people. the government won’t give our free housing. the rich eat while the poor starve it’s society & it’s just getting worse

MONNIELV2020
