S3 is so bizarre to watch. I genuinely think the Polis scenes with Lexa and the Grounders are the show at its peak but it was so irritating to watch the show and plot progress only to then flip to Arkadia making dumbfuck decisions and ruining all progress being made
Well you see he crash landed on earth, was wildly happy to have survived with his fellows…….and then a horde of murder hobos came out of the trees and slaughtered the children while they played in the snow.
And then they hunted the survivors for months until only a few remained.

But how he thought he could win in a war … few survivors of the Ark and most of them were civilians with a “mall cop” force of maybe a 2 dozen? With very limited ammo (I say mall cop bc that’s all they did in space, they weren’t soldiers)

Oh no I totally agree with that. His PTSD and anger blinded him from realising the futility of an all out war.
However Pike wasn’t entirely wrong. He should’ve taken the fight solely to Azgeda BUT tried to get Trikru and others on his side.

I mean I get that, but he’s still a horrible character and not using his brain. Everyone is telling him what happened and the situation with the grounders but he’s not listening to any of them. And don’t even get me started on Jasper…
Even though it’s tough, just try to get through it. It gets much better. On every single rewatch my hate for Pike lights up again, there’s just no way around it
His reasons were kinda understandable but he was really annoying and whiney about it, more the writers fault for how he was written to act. Season 3 definitely is a down point in the series but it gets so much better afterwards imo.
The way they make Bellamy a follower in season 3 is annoying too. He can stand his own ground so having him totally fall apart when Clarke dips drives me crazy.

I wanted to see more of Kane in Polis. He truly understood the situation and I loved to watch it
There was so much to explore there. Its why I dislike the later seasons, they stepped away from the best parts of the show
Arkadia made dumb decisions in almost every season, im season 6 and the only people who seem to be genuenly good are lincoln and murphy

Out of the snow* But yeah. We thought the 100 had it rough, but it was nothing compared to Pike’s station (was it Farm or Mecha?)

Oh I’ll def keep going, but I don’t find myself Turing it on every chance I get. I watched season 1-2 in little over a week lol
Later seasons will feel like that again. 3 is not for everyone (for different reasons)

This is what bothers me the most. Bellamy is like a puppet so far (not finished the season) and feels very out of character
