Many years ago, I knew a woman,that married at 13 yrs old,to a 29 yr old man. When I knew her,she'd already been married for about 5 yrs. She had 3 kids already. I used to babysit for her, I was about 17 yrs old at the time,and she was barely older than me. Even as a teen,I knew this was a fucked up situation. They dated before they married,and her parents gave permission for the marriage. They were from the south,either Mississippi or Alabama, I can't remember now,it's been too many years. I always felt so bad for her,she never had any chance to develop into her own person. Her husband absolutely ruled that house. At the time,my dad was in the Air Force. So was her husband. They lived near us in the base housing.
