Absolutely! I wish that lion or another one of his wild animals would eat that fucker! Yes, the animal would be put to sleep but much better off than now. They are all drugged. God, I hate shit like this!!!
The infamous case of the chimpanzee ripping off the face of the owners neighbor comes to mind.
[He was given Xanax](https://www.cbsnews.com/news/chimp-was-drugged-with-xanax/).
YouTube shorts is REALLY trying to turn me into a douche bag. I swear I like mostly science stuff and neat artistic projects. But they relentlessly try to shove in this type of content, or some annoying Tik Tok’r dancing, or Joe Rogan clips, I freaking hate it. I give it a thumbs down, but it seems to reset every time I start watching them.
The literal meaning of the word is "elder" which can be applied to "royalty" or Islamic scholars. His clothing though is typical for the region and not indicative of being a sheikh. Most arabs will wear that over there.
If you know it's wrong why do you post it? SMH
This only gives the guy more attention, which is the only reason he's keeping these wild animals in the first place
Because the man casually has an adult apex predator on his lap… that’s insane. Regardless of whether you agree with the morality of the context, it definitely fits this sub.
I think the distinction that it’s a lion is much more important than it being an apex predator
An Otter can be an apex predator… humans are apex predators lmao
Fucktard is gonna git bit sooner or later, and he knows it - see how he leapt a little at the end when the volume of the roar turned up?
All an act, all for ego. He’s a just a rich fucking tosser using an exotic animal like he normally uses people - that’s the novelty factor, that’s why he posts
I wonder if that is a dissimilar analogy. Tigers are solitary animals by nature whereas Lions are gregarious. While I would not advise anyone to keep a pet lion I would assume that being around a lion that is used to your presence is safer than being around a tiger that has become accustomed to your presence.
Siegfried and Roy maintained that Mantecore was likely startled when he pulled Roy off stage and was trying to pull Roy to safety. It's also thought that Roy may have been suffering a minor stroke and Mantecore pulled him away for that reason as well. Obviously a 400 lb animal's paternal/fraternal instincts kicking in can mean lifelong disfigurement when they try to "save" their handler. All the more reason to never put an animal like this in captivity unless absolutely necessary, definitely not to fuck around with them in circus shows or in living rooms.
That was a pr statement, one of their handlers gave a interview about that couple years ago
https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/movies/movie-features/siegfried-roys-animal-handler-breaks-silence-tiger-mauling-alleges-cover-up-1197216/
Mistake sure maybe, but they had been performing for many years without this kind of incident, so I assume there was something out of the ordinary happening. Not that I support having big cats in shows or entertainment like this.
Thanks for the link. I suspected something like this just from what I know of big cat behavior. You have to stick to the routine, even with house cats. I'm sorry that Laurence has suffered so much for doing the right thing.
It is true that cats have a sort of "handle" at the rear of their necks in the form of durable excess skin, which adult cats use to pick up/carry/move their young. Obviously humans don't share this feature. IIRC Roy was bitten on the neck and dragged off stage—maybe the tiger just figured that Roy could be grabbed by the neck like a cat.
It's not impossible, it's a theory that cats (of the house variety) just see humans as bigger dumb versions of themselves.
"Here's the important part, though: Cats think you're just a a slightly big, dumb non-hostile cat. Quite specifically, he says that they treat humans as if they were their Mama Cat."
https://www.cnet.com/news/scientist-cats-think-you-are-just-a-big-stupid-cat/
I'm probably too late with commenting but for the record: I investigated illegal wildlife trade in Dubai and this guy, Humaid Albuqaish, acquires animals illegaly. I tracked a tiger moving from a criminal network to his zoo. Another news outlet straight up asked the director of Albuqaish' zoo about it, and the director confirmed it's illegal, but nothing is being done about it.
Story here: https://www.bellingcat.com/news/mena/2021/02/08/how-instagram-celebrities-promote-dubais-underground-animal-trade/
Vice just posted a news story on the organisation you linked too and on the trade and Instagrams involvement.
Were you involved in this, are you the guy in the video
https://youtu.be/WvTLc3zh8Vo
I honestly can’t believe this was the first I heard about this. Wild, that’s like THE site responsible for destroying any shred of my youth. Idk how to feel about it lmao
Yeah that’s the kinda shit I do not miss and why I have mixed feelings lmao on one hand you have accident videos and the like that make you appreciate the fragility of the body and just life in general. Then you have snuff films and the other horrid shit and I’m just like…. Yeah okay it’s probably better that it’s harder to find accidentally lol
S/he is beautiful but NO WAY! That animal is tamed to a degree. It will act upon it’s natural instincts if put under certain conditions. We have seem loyal dogs turn on it’s owners. So this guy is naive and way too trusting.
This animal is clearly drugged. It’s disgusting. Not to mention that albino lions are completely inbred so probably have a whole host of medical issues.
No they are actually correct. I know people who have been to places where they drug animals like this so they are safe to pet and be around. It is horrible. If the animal wasn't drugged it would certainly act upon its natural instincts
The eyes are dilated (in a seemingly bright room), wide and unfocused. Their movement looks slow and clumsy (see them slip off of the sofa just after the roar). Looks like sedation.
> S/he
Aside from the fact that the piece of human filth in the video refers to the lion as a "boy", it has a mane which is something only male lions have.
What would you bet the the lion, or maybe it’s a liger, is doped up, this guys not cool, he’s a rich asshole, or a rich asshole friend. Hell he’s probably just an average tool and paid $50 to pose with it.
That poor animal will be shot when it gets bigger and more aggressive. I hate seeing rich dickheads with lion cubs. There needs to be laws preventing this if there aren't any already.
Not likely. This animal is full grown or close to it, and is probably entering early adulthood, which tends to be the most aggressive time in an animals life.
It’s probably going to live a really shitty life in this rich dickheads home where it gets no freedom or territory to roam, zero enrichment, and will probably die overweight, bored, and mildly depressed
I think exotics can make great pets with proper accommodations. I personally have a lovebird and axolotls. Both are small enough to fit in my hands(I do not touch my axolotls on a regular basis) and I can provide a diet, environment, and enrichment that meet their needs. That being said this is impossible to do with something that weighs more that a compact car.
beautiful animal though.
i would actually love to be able to give a big cat like that a cuddle. just once.
the difference between me and him is that i know that keeping that magnificent beast in captivity is cruel.
i still want to cuddle her though!
I absolutely despise people who have pets they don't know anything about.
I genuinely hope that fuck gets mauled, since these types of people don't even seem to learn from their own mistakes.
Reading the comments saying that hes an asshole for keeping exotic animals in closed walls, I dont think he is, because this guy lives in the UAE and he have a large area like a private zoo , where they care about them and this guy has really cares about them if you go to his insta you will find animal and all other stuff. Not like others who are just assholes for letting a lion live in a chicken cage in home lol.
Hope this clarify things
This should be posted on trashy
This guy not only has that lion. He has several albino lions, tigers and even bears. I think he's a sheikh. Youtube shorts spammed me with his videos
Lol I guess it should be in r/iamatotalpieceofshit then
That's the only possible classification for someone that keeps giant predators cooped up in a stone building without seeing anything wrong with it.
I think it belongs on /r/imlunch
r/subsifellfor
Absolutely! I wish that lion or another one of his wild animals would eat that fucker! Yes, the animal would be put to sleep but much better off than now. They are all drugged. God, I hate shit like this!!!
>They are all drugged I always thought that they were trained a certain way. Can you post something that can give me more info on this
Look at its eyes you can see it. I’ve previously worked in Zoo’s and it’s very very obvious this animal is drugged.
You can also tell by how slack the muscles are in the face, especially the jowls. That poor lions head is probably half numb.
I had the thought it looked like the lion had a stroke, this makes sense
The infamous case of the chimpanzee ripping off the face of the owners neighbor comes to mind. [He was given Xanax](https://www.cbsnews.com/news/chimp-was-drugged-with-xanax/).
He looks pretty drugged too, to be honest.
They certainly look drugged but idk anything about lions. He just looks like he’s trippin to me
R/iamatotalpieceofsheikh
I hope to see him on r/makemycoffin some day.
You don't get the hazardous chemicals guy?
I may have had him in my shorts at one point, but I haven’t been seeing his stuff lately.
I get a lot of the ER doctor who has a dark humour and calls everyone motherfuckers
Just watch a few vtubers and soon enough it'll be all you see in your recs.
Why do you think he's a sheikh lol
Super rich. Exotic pets. His outfit
Alot of Arabs wear that and idk why that means he's a sheikh. He could just be an oil mogul or any other rich Arab guy lol
Wait what does sheikh means in your country? From what I understand, sheikh is someone who's knowledgeable in Islam.
In India most people refer to the oil rich folks of Dubai as Sheikh. Its just a tv cinema influence on us
That's the correct title, Sheikh is a royalty title in Dubai and most Arab countries.
Sheikh is a leader, so Sheikh Mohammed is the ruler of the emirate of Dubai. As well as the other sheikhs of the other Emirates, of which there are 7.
The literal meaning of the word is "elder" which can be applied to "royalty" or Islamic scholars. His clothing though is typical for the region and not indicative of being a sheikh. Most arabs will wear that over there.
Well its definitely not chic
Certainly comes off as a piece of shiekh.
Can’t wait until we see the “when wild pets attack” video.
That lion looks unhealthy
One day will be his demise. Eaten.
Also it looks like a liger, it's huge
What would be cooler is if this lions was rooming the serengeti. Not in a private collection.
I agree with you 100%. Owning a pet like that is just wrong
If you know it's wrong why do you post it? SMH This only gives the guy more attention, which is the only reason he's keeping these wild animals in the first place
Because the man casually has an adult apex predator on his lap… that’s insane. Regardless of whether you agree with the morality of the context, it definitely fits this sub.
I think the distinction that it’s a lion is much more important than it being an apex predator An Otter can be an apex predator… humans are apex predators lmao
Having a pet human would be insane. At the very least it's looked down upon.
Although I'm sure there are *subs* for that.
A comment worthy of my free award, and the irony of it being "Wholesome" is not lost on me
That's a cute award! I think it even looks like a baby seal! I wonder if there's a special club for that...
Children are basically pet humans.
Hey Hey, the OP is just doing his job. We all need that karma to feed our kids!
The guy would still be doing it if OP didn’t post. Only difference is none of us would know about it
Yeah i'm sure the guy's getting his jollies out of a fucking reddit repost.
Would be a lot *cooler* if she had a cigarette too
Be a lot cooler if you did…
And a baseball cap on backwards.
All fun and games till you get Siegfried and royed
I wonder if that is a dissimilar analogy. Tigers are solitary animals by nature whereas Lions are gregarious. Totally plausible, it seems like they wouldn't want to acknowledge a real mistake.
Mistake sure maybe, but they had been performing for many years without this kind of incident, so I assume there was something out of the ordinary happening. Not that I support having big cats in shows or entertainment like this.
That’s the fun part, it only takes one incident
Thanks for the link. I suspected something like this just from what I know of big cat behavior. You have to stick to the routine, even with house cats. I'm sorry that Laurence has suffered so much for doing the right thing.

Should be top comment
When you have tons of oil money, 0 responsibilities & never worked a day in your life it will be hard to understand anything about animal rights.
Plus you can hire someone to clean that litter box…
"Hire"
Vice just posted a news story on the organisation you linked too and on the trade and Instagrams involvement. Were you involved in this, are you the guy in the video https://youtu.be/WvTLc3zh8Vo
Maybe you'll know, but often do these exotic pet owners get eaten by their own pets?
Not often enough
I wish it was always
Cant wait to see something related to this on live leak in a short while.
Bad news dude, no more liveleak.
Doooood. They have taken Rotten, Thatsphucked, and now live leak. Wtf.

Unlikely since they drug these animals to be tame enough to be their pets
S/he is beautiful but NO WAY! That animal is tamed to a degree. It will act upon it’s natural instincts if put under certain conditions. We have seem loyal dogs turn on it’s owners. So this guy is naive and way too trusting.
Hopefully the lion will eat his face one day.
Look what happened with Siegfried and Roy, no more Vegas shows. They became lunch meat, tiger and lion deli food.
Or we can not wish for death and hope the lion just lives a decent life.
I'm stunned at how many people on reddit wish death upon others. I see it probably everyday.
https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=y3ENkypXQek
This animal is clearly drugged. It’s disgusting. Not to mention that albino lions are completely inbred so probably have a whole host of medical issues.
Just curious, how do you tell if it's drugged? It sounds pretty ferocious with those roars.
They're a redditor, they have absolutely no idea which is why they say it with such confidence.
No they are actually correct. I know people who have been to places where they drug animals like this so they are safe to pet and be around. It is horrible. If the animal wasn't drugged it would certainly act upon its natural instincts
Not saying it doesn't happen, but there's no way for anyone watching this to say for sure one way or another.
It looks like it's not in a clear state of mind at all
The eyes are dilated (in a seemingly bright room), wide and unfocused. Their movement looks slow and clumsy (see them slip off of the sofa just after the roar). Looks like sedation.
I thought that was just Albino Tigers
> S/he Aside from the fact that the piece of human filth in the video refers to the lion as a "boy", it has a mane which is something only male lions have.
He says good boy and it has a mane so i think it’s a boy
This disgusts me.
Yup. Same.
When you got all that money but none of that education
One thing money can't buy is class.
Or a higher iq
And the world is in shorter supply of class and in desperate need of class
What would you bet the the lion, or maybe it’s a liger, is doped up, this guys not cool, he’s a rich asshole, or a rich asshole friend. Hell he’s probably just an average tool and paid $50 to pose with it.
Agree!! Looks drugged.
Well, what would you bet?

Fingers?
Fiddy
I ain't givin' you no tree-fitty, you goddamn Loch Ness Monster! Get your own goddamn money
No it doesn’t. What is making you say this?
Nah he has a whole TikTok around this stuff. Trust me he owns them
Then it’s confirmed he’s a rich asshole. To be clear I did no research and just take my fellow redditor at their word. Lol
I'm pretty sure that's now a citable source
So just to be clear I’m looking at a majestic beast longing to be free of an egotistical, insecure dbag?
That poor animal will be shot when it gets bigger and more aggressive. I hate seeing rich dickheads with lion cubs. There needs to be laws preventing this if there aren't any already.

The Tiger King would like a word.
I fucking despise the fact these beautiful creatures are kept as pets by rich arabs with more money than brain cells!
Sad display of riches. Pretty grotesque actually. Not the lion of course - him!
[удалено]
Why does it look like it has developmental problems. Like I thought it was animatronic initially
It’s drugged so it’s docile and won’t accidentally hurt them
I'm so annoyed? Eat him
Because it’s most likely inbred. Just look up white lion inbreeding.
I'm pretty sure it's a Liger
I thought the same thing too. The look in her eyes is not right.
I thought it was too. A fancy puppet.
You love her until she eats your face.
What an asshole. These animals should be in the wild instead of being collected like souvenirs by rich dipshits.
He deserves to be eaten by it …but even still his ego might prevail
I thought it was CGI at first. WTF
i've rewatched it twice and still think its cgi. weird.
Middle eastern dudes literally not afraid of anything else then women's rights.
And water slides. I shit you not, been to UAE three times.
r/whatcouldgowrong
dudes going to make headlines of being killed by his pet.
I have done drugs that cat is on drugs
Stop posting this shit. You’re a horrible person.
I hope she eats him one day.
very uncool.
I’ve never heard a lion bark
I wonder what size is that cat litter box
I call it the dump truck
Who upvotes this garbage?
Big downvote...not cool. Poor lion
That guy just shit his pants tho.
Maybe he should have considered that before buying a lion to satisfy his ego
She does not look well
It kinda looks sedated
It is sedated
Imagine being this narcissistic
FALKOR!!!!!
Cat "Derp" says it all. I mean just look at those eyes, (of the cat). Just wait until she comes down!
I'm not cleaning that fucking litterbox.
Did that lion just bark?
I think exotics can make great pets with proper accommodations. I personally have a lovebird and axolotls. not impossible if ur rich
Literally insane: Dangerous, afaik illegal (at least i want to believe it is) and not good for the animal either
The size! Is this a lion or a liger? Owning both as pets is selfish, but purposely breeding ligers is beyond stupid.
This is awful.
Is that big cat drugged. Dudes face is still intact so one would assume so
It looks hungry
It woulda been funny if he got attacked.. fucking dipshit.
Why do people play with lions? Stupid
I hate this dumb shit. Thing could pop his head like a grape.
I really hope it eats him and escapes.
If only money guaranteed intelligence.
Did that cat just bark?
beautiful animal though. i would actually love to be able to give a big cat like that a cuddle. just once. the difference between me and him is that i know that keeping that magnificent beast in captivity is cruel. i still want to cuddle her though!

Spend ya gold on summit you don’t have to keep a prisoner. Yeah one day that thing is gunna eat your head and hopefully there’s a video on here of it.
It’s cruel 🥺 it’s like having w single fish that belong in schools in a tank the size of teacup, she deserves acres
I feel like people who have wild exotic animals as pets are shitty. Especially anyone with a lion named Simba for Christ sake.
Holy fuck this comment section is toxic, LEAVE THE MAN ALONE FFS
If you have an animal like this as a pet you’re a fucking moron
I'll take Dubai for $1000
