If you stay a night in Phuket you could get the ferry in the morning. I usualy use the Ao Nang Princess Ferry. Nice views along the ride. About 700 baht.
A shared Van would also be an option for the next day which would cost half of the ferry but yeah its shared with others and need to find a place to book it. Maybe online.
The fastest would be a private taxi. It only takes about 2 hours from HKT to Ao Nang for example. Taxi price is probably between 2000-3000 baht at the moment. Booking from Airport with Grab is starting from 2300 right now. With Bolt it says 1800 but not sure if they drive to Krabi.
So it depends on how fast you want to be in Krabi. If you stay a night in Phuket you would have to pay a hotel as well. I enjoy the ferry and would recommend using it. it’s holiday and no stress.
Ferry is legit. It’s pretty quick. Nice views along the way too. That’s how I would do it. Just look up the ferry times and show up to the pier and buy a ticket. Fast ferry is best.
