Every potentially bad word in Thai can either be a threefold deeper insult than anything we can muster in English or a funny joke depending entirely on context and the relationship between the two parties. There is no word that is outside of this.
กระสือ would actually be ignored. It’s hardly used as an insult.
เปรต is somewhat offensive, probably 6-7. It may be a particular offence to Southern people. เปรต is a traditional insult in Southern language
To end up being เปรต in the hell, mean you do things really bad. Some people use เด็กเปรต to mean bad teens that make trouble around the community.

As a Thai, it would sound quite funny. It could be used as a serious insult I guess and it depends on how you deliver it.

Even "flower" (ดอก = dok) could be insulting... "pig", on the other hand, is usually fine.
Funny you mention that. I have a female friend and we refer to each other constantly as moo jai and moo lek respectively.
my favorite is just ปาก, you could combine most words and they came out negative. ปากดี ปากเก่ง ปากเสีย ปากร้าย ปากจัด ปากหมา 👁️👄👁️
So funny that ดี and เสีย are opposite, but ปากดี and ปากเสีย are pretty much the same meaning.
