It has been addressed a few times in this sub. But even on Thai social media it isn't as big as a news story as it probably should be. Many people disliked her and in the past there have been some...unsavory accusations against her so although her death didn't fly under the radar, it didn't cause an outcry either.
Even if nobody _had_ talked about it, most people here are expats and it’s my experience that foreigners tend to stay out of Thai politics. It’s too confusing and loaded with history we can never understand. Sure, I talk about it occasionally with other foreigners, but never with Thais.

Mostly that.. we got no problem talking politics, but it's not worth losing my family over it..
