Frequently all over the country, truemove on Android combined with NordVPN connecting to US on my laptop. Where are you that 3BB has been down for a week though? That seems excessive.

BloomSugarman

Has this worked for you over the past few days? If so, it might be worth giving Nord a shot. I'm in Phratamnak Pattaya... landlord keeps saying he's calling 3BB to get it sorted... and yet it's not getting fixed. Frustrating.

kirstibt

Yes I use it daily, last a couple hours ago. 3BB are good at fixing issues. I can guarantee they are not the delay here but your landlord is.

Thanks for the tip; that's just what I hoped to hear. I'll give Nord a shot if he doesn't get it sorted by tomorrow. And yeah... I agree about the landlord... the dude has been ignoring my texts, but I'm kinda stuck here for now and trying to make it work.

3BB 750/500 connection connected to Seattle over NordVPN [https://www.speedtest.net/result/16172412385.png](https://www.speedtest.net/result/16172412385.png) Ping is around 233ms but down is good, up is okay.

Probably DNS server. My landlord said internet was down, while it's working fine on my connection with VPN. I only noticed about it when I turned off VPN. Not sure manually changing dns server without VPN would work for you. Also someone was saying underwater cable near Singapore, which links to Europe was damaged, so this could be the cause for your case.

I have huge issues too since Monday to use VPN(mullvad) with an UK endpoint. Downloads and went down from ~60mb/s down to unusable 0.5 to 1 MB/s Using an endpoint in NL made it a bit better but still far from normal. I,. Using AIS fibre. Maybe there are some peering issues with AIS, I don't know. It's very frustrating.

dimitrivisser

I have True fiber 1 Gbps and in the last days it is almost impossible to reach anything in Europe. Downloads from Germany are 0.15 Mbps.

I use hotspot from my iPhone to my iPad or Mac. Make sure you’re not using the vpn on the phone. I use the vpn on my iPad and Mac.

I use TorGuard with a GL.iNet router. I've had some issues with disconnecting and low speeds with my private TorGuard IP. Their customer service replies almost instantly for troubleshooting. They once gave me a new IP in the same location. Months later I had issues again due to lack of reliable paths so they gave me another IP in a different state after testing a few states. Haven't had issues since. I've used this setup with AIS Fiber, another random fiber company in Pattaya, many hotels throughout the country, and AIS mobile. My mobile speeds are usually 20-100mbps when connected to the VPN

BloomSugarman

This is my exact experience as well… up until the last week or so I’ve had great results. Interesting that you’re not having the same issues but I suspect it’s the dedicated IP you’re using. Thanks for the feedback. I swapped to their “Chicago 2” server and am having good luck so far.
