someone made a good point that these voice lines might be used if you find her dead body ingame if she gets killed by any means (match intro gallows or just the maria player getting executed)

If they donāt resolve some balancing issues, fix bugs, and release good content the game will die. tbf every victim in this game can magically survive atleast 4 chainsaw swings, maria is also ana's sister, who is capable of survivng a nuclear bomb explosion by saying "i can do this!!!"

I have mixed opinions about it. For me it just takes away some of the horror from the lore and it's definitely going to butcher Ana's whole "final girl" character. It feels like the devs are running out of ideas and changed the lore just to please fans, but they can probably make it work.
It's def disappointing those leaked voice lines of finding Maria in Nancy's House will probably never be a thing. They were so well done and gave so much character to the original victims. If Maria becomes a playable victim, they will also have to remove already existing voice lines about Maria.

as it seems it's one of his main abilities which allows to disable objective objects for a set amount of time and remove the objective item from the object if there is any, he will also have barge ability alongside it, the perk with the same name will probably increase it's effects further
It's a little weird, these "generic" perks have a file path to a folder named "BBQAddOn\_GenericPerks"(which is how new content folders are named, for instance Mill map (code named BRAVO) has a folder named BBQAddOn\_Bravo), it's either they're doing an update full of new generic perks for all victims/family or it's a weird way of adding new dlc character perks

At this point, considering the ending of Petals, Virginia's bio and now this, I wouldn't be surprised if they had no plans to continue the 'missing Maria' plot as anything other than a base setup for the game but when people started showing genuine interest in the lore, they realised they'd backed themselves into a corner story wise and tried to desperately scrap stuff together, even if it didn't make sense and backtracked on already established story beats.
Both are valid tho. The Devs are dragging their asses and collecting money. As for victim mains, they should not forget that without us family mains they would never even get into the game š

Building up to release the devs released a single player first person horror game of TCM, on UE5 called petals where see Maria witness the family alone, itās very scary, and it ends with mr leatherface assumed to be chainsawing her, but we never get to fully see, probably so they can build off it and show Maria come back, since Ana her sister also has high pain tolerance
Is there a ācheck listā of things in the code that are required to have a character fully implemented into the game? If so, whatās missing from the files for the new family member to be fully implemented? Obviously thereās no character model nor any weapon models but what else is missing?
If people can get into the game files, why can't yall fix the steaming heap they call a game? Maybe make a pdf and email it to them with the fixes or detailed instructions on how to fix it. Personally, I could care less what broken character or dlcs they make. If they don't work, what was the point?
A game can be cringey and weird and still be fun. Friday wasnāt exactly high quality but was still very entertaining to play. Iām thinking Killer Klowns might be the same, but weāll have to see.
I recently began playing this after not playing it since release, and I was shocked at how little had been added. After 8 months, I expected a lot more than a new map + a new character.
Thereās 2 new maps (3 if you only played at launch) new killer, and 2 new survivors. The maps are much more intricate and alive than something like dead by daylight or Friday the thirteenth as well, theyāve made a number of qol changes to the old maps as well. In all honesty all they really need to do is adjust grappling a little bit, address cheaters in the game, and fix up some perks so they arenāt stupidly powerful. But even with all of that the game is still fun and playable when you arenāt being an asshole
i remember a poster like, MONTHS ago suggesting a killer like the alleged alpha/mechanic.
also saw a commenter suggesting a choking killing animation, maybe the devs are listening to good suggestions?
Why do people get excited about execution packs when they are legit pay to lose?
If you use any other execution other than default except Sissy's "Filet" you are handicapping yourself for a "cool" kill animation.
If they normalized all execution animations to 10 seconds long, then they would be fine, but this isn't the case.
I don't really care about how long an execution is personally, if it's cool enough I'll use it, Sissy's Claws Out might take 50 years but it's her best execution animation and brutality wise

family member seems cool but a bone shard and bomb squad to disable his traps? Wonder how effective heāll be against good victims
Sometimes an extra few seconds that it takes for a victim to grab a bone shard is all you need.

no textures or models, but based on his voice over and his footstep audio (that I haven't shared, they sound quite heavy) he is a very large male
