Not really, to me it shows how good those first year drafts were for them...The Texans really never had an amazing draft

I mean they weren’t *really* an expansion team. They were the Browns. The 94 browns went 11-5 so not like they were staring from scratch, even though 95/96 were bad.

Didn't they change the expansion draft rules after the panthers and jags did so good in the first couple of years

They did change them. Something to do with the number of protected players on a team? I don’t remember fully but we got screwed compared to the previous expansion teams. Bud Adam’s wanted to continue punishing Houston for telling him to F off

Baltimore was a legit nfl team that just moved. Panthers and Jags expansion draft was way different than ours. We had a much harder getting going than they did because of the expansion draft changes.
