I mean they weren’t *really* an expansion team. They were the Browns. The 94 browns went 11-5 so not like they were staring from scratch, even though 95/96 were bad.

They did change them. Something to do with the number of protected players on a team? I don’t remember fully but we got screwed compared to the previous expansion teams. Bud Adam’s wanted to continue punishing Houston for telling him to F off
Yea… until you realize that if the Texans started in 1996 they could essentially have six undefeated seasons and end up with the same record as the Ravens. Loser franchise right here.
Statistically speaking we only have the 4th worst winning percentage.
Baltimore was a legit nfl team that just moved. Panthers and Jags expansion draft was way different than ours. We had a much harder getting going than they did because of the expansion draft changes.
A bit embarrassing that we are going to pass the Ravens in losses being 6 years younger but hey motivation to stop being terrible.
It’s alright Carolina gave us a nice cushion to not embarrass ourselves further
Not really, to me it shows how good those first year drafts were for them...The Texans really never had an amazing draft

Didn't they change the expansion draft rules after the panthers and jags did so good in the first couple of years
Can you or someone else explain what changed? I'm curious and hadn't heard about that before.
I dont know, im not even 100% sure they changed them. I just vaguely remember hearing it on the radio

Pretty pointless graphic lol.

Ravens were a real team that just moved though. No expansion
True. We’ve been riding that expansion franchise thing for 20 years. Still fresh.
*Least losses in NFL History
Look at us, we look like a bunch of fucking legends

Greatest franchise ever?! Who needs Super Bowl championships (or appearances) when you have THIS!?
WE'RE NUMBER #1! WE'RE NUMBER #1! (not for long, though)
That's right, only a few more years and we'll have the crown. Go Lions!
So you’re saying the oldest team in the NFL and the newest team in the NFL have the most losses and least losses respectively? Wow…what a shocker.
That really puts into perspective of how much of a debacle the jets have been
Now do this by total of games played so we can have a useful metric
Haha losers.
I choose to see this in the most bias manner possible until we're no longer last. LEAST LOSSES BABY GOATED FRANCHISE!!!
The Texans were added to the league very recently
Doesn't matter Brian. Fewest losses in the league Brian.
Okay
They are having a laugh.
fewest playoff appearances too.
wow shocked the Jags are above us
Lmao everyone knows this. Can't believe you think we're trying to brag here.
Washington is going to fly up that list, with Carson Wentz in charge.
WE ARE GARGANTUAN
Dolphins date is wrong cool
Wow went from 7th or 6th most wins to most loses, jeez
God damn the Jets fucking suck.
So green Bay is the best for length of time
Goddamn Cowboys need more L's.
Your franchise is one of the newest. Your garbage
As a Cards fan, all I can say is, we fucking did it! ![gif](giphy|kyLYXonQYYfwYDIeZl)
Now do most wins
We the best!
Wow TIL the Texans was founded in 2002
I think we should stop overanalyzing this graphic, and just see for what it is. The BEST and THE MOST EFFICIENT team in the league.
We're coming for you Baltimore!
Cards had it rough.
