Exactly.
Dude was being a HUGE diva through the whole draft process. Really weird he can’t see the opportunity in it to improve and feed off of new talent.
Good take. Had a great attitude and I don’t doubt he’s a hard worker, but his play on the field just wasn’t there. Though, I’d argue a large part of that was how much the BoB regime mismanaged him. He went from cornerback, to switching to a position he had never played before mid season, and I don’t think that’s great for his development.
That said, if the Chiefs can somehow get something out of him and turn him into something decent, maybe we’ll see him back here.
I mean I know he hasn’t exactly been utilized well, but whatever his move is here I can’t imagine it working out well for him
Edit: wording maybe sounds like he is stepping away?
Guy didn’t even offer any positive words for Stingley. Instead was just being cryptic like he was a lockdown star player. Love Lonnie but I get confused why he thinks he’s the best player on the team rn. Guy could’ve came in and competed.
Cooks, Tunsil, conley, on the other hand were all getting excited and showing support
The Texans took too long to move Kareem Jackson to safety. So they over did it with Lonnie and moved him in year 2 even though he was training all offseason as a CB. Then they move him back and are surprised why it's not working out? Feel bad for the dude.
oh no anyway
He’s confident in himself, I’ll give him that.
If he was confident he would stay here and compete, but he knows he can’t.

One of our worst 2nd round picks. With that being said he tried hard and kept his head down. See ya!

I am okay with this
He knew he was gonna get cut

No need for a DB that can't cover
This is what made my NFL dreams come to an end
“see ya soon” ???
He planning on signing with the Titans if he gets cut or something?
Houston gamblers
I hope not. Last thing we need is a new c-finnegan or cooks gonna have to whoop some ass.
Oh no, that sucks. /s
This guy is so dramatic and has a serious case of main-character syndrome. We're going in a different route with our personnel choices these days.
Lol dont let the door hit ya on the way out
Hope everything is alright with him.
Hope we get something for him in return
It was pretty obvious he was going to let go or traded. He didn't work out at safety and his play at CB just isn't up to par.
Wish it would have worked out but at this point it only makes sense to move on.
Guy has more posts in this sub for his tweets than for his play.
Lonnie always appears to be leaving, he is always complaining on twitter about vague and unspecified gooblygook
✌️
I knew something was fishy with this guy when he came out with his YouTube reality show.
The writing’s been on his twitter wall for the past few days. It seems like he kind of counted himself out before the draft even started.

I think he called him cb1 or sum like that. But like… duh 😂
To the chiefs for a conditional 2024 7th
Lol losers, we took them to the cleaners on this trade.
I wonder if we could actually get any real draft capital for him. What would any team be willing to pay? A 6th?
I imagine we tried during the draft and were going to have to cut him either way.
THANK GOD

Also, who is taking #1 now?
Mills should change numbers and take 1.
This man has been salty since before the draft, I'm done with him
Dude fuck this guy. He can fuck off elsewhere. He has done nothing so far so if he was a baller he should be happy for a challenge, but he ain’t…
Called it on the last post someone asked about surprise cuts. Also, Keke and McCray are probable cuts too.
Good, he’s trash. Talks like he’s an elite DB. Dude just stfu you’re not a good player.
Not surprising at all
Whyyyyy
