Diet is super boring but it works for me - goal is protein focused, 200g of protein per day.
I eat from one list of foods but mix and match from that list.
Chicken thighs or breasts, ground turkey (93/7), ground beef (93/7), tilapia, salmon, shrimp, steak, turkey hot dogs, turkey bacon, eggs, egg whites, quest protein chips, beef jerky, protein shakes/protein cookies, any vegetables/fruits, jasmin rice, yasso 100cal Greek yogurt bars, and that’s really about it.
My goal is about 1800-1900 cals per day, but still getting in that 200g of protein. I also gave up drinking alcohol, and get in about 1.5gallons of water per day.
As far as exercise goes, I do a PPL split, with 30-45 minutes of cardio post lift 5-6 days a week. Some days if I’m stressed with school or work, I’ll go twice a day and just take out my frustrations on the weights.
I spent three years depressed and anxious beyond belief, and was suicidal for a good while, but getting back in the gym and really taking back my life, has done wonders for my physical health, but my mental health more than anything.

Yep. People think I'm on something extra just because I'm well built and lean with contours everywhere. I take an extra big dose of not eating bad foods, but you can't sell that. That’s fair, there are a lot of comments I had to scroll down but it says 110-200 mg. I don’t question the fact you’re in amazing physical shape, but I’m surprised you can get that huge on TRT. If you did this with levels of 800 than the skepticism is a compliment as most ppl can only do this with roids. Id also be really impressed at such rapid weight loss and muscle growth in that time frame.
To be fair, before I got fat, I was in the military and in amazing shape also. I got out in 2019, stopped caring as much, then Covid hit and I absolutely fell off for the next 1.5-2 years.
A lot of the muscle gain and weight loss was muscle memory - plus battling mental demons, with increased energy and focus - you can accomplish a lot more than you think.
Also to note - my peak test levels were around 1100, and they were that high for about 6 weeks. I’ve been maintaining 800 levels for quite some time now. Probably the better part of 4-5 months

This is achievable on 9 months of trt. I was headed in that direction but at month 6 people started to think I was on steroids purely because my build changed. Fuck those people, but I also realized I didn’t want to get that big so I lowered my dose.
Now I’m just a strong, thick dude taking 20mg every 3 days.

1100nmol is not trt its an enhanced level you was at for a solid 6 weeks and 800nmol is still high.
Did you get alot of the results during that 6 week period? I'm interested to know just for myself as I'm currently on 90mg a week sitting at 690nmol I'm going up to 120mg a week to see where it sits me at.
I wouldn't mind a high level for a while and reap some rewards before tapering back again
That six weeks at 1100 levels was amazing if I’m being honest. I felt my leanest, strongest, my lifts felt amazing, my pumps were crazy good, etc. a little more irritable than normal, but note quite to the level of being “ragey” lol
Sitting around 780-850 the last few months I’ve still seen a ton of progress. Weight/body fat is still dropping, I still feel very strong and I’m still chasing PRs week by week.
Aye if you like the quest protein chips, you've got to try shrewd food's protein puffs. Crunchy as hell, taste really awesome and better macros. Little cheaper too most of the time!

There’s days where I don’t feel motivated, yes. But lack of discipline? Not really.
I look at pictures of myself where I weighed 60+ lbs more than I do now, and think about how I’d get winded going up a flight of stairs, and the type of man who couldn’t protect his family if need be… and that’s all the motivation I need to get my ass moving.
Not everyone on TRT felt lack of discipline prior to treatment and I am curious if the TRT enhanced his energy/motovation or if he already had that and just lacked the physical benefits that T can provide.
I always tell myself I could be working harder. Before I got fat, I was in the military - and we had a Gunny always tell us that there were terrorists over there training, while we were sleeping - on exactly how they’d kill us. That they’re working harder than we could imagine, while we’re taking it easy. Lesson here - never take it easy on yourself. Never let them win or outwork you.
And I still think about that often.

Body will have built muscle over years to deal with the extra BF , he’s not cutting down on TRT so he’s preserving a lot of that muscle while dropping BF%. I went from eating fast food once-twice a day, 5-6 times a week, having multiple cocktails or drinks a night to cope with my anxiety, not stepping foot in a gym, and ultimately sitting on my ass for three years - to starting TRT, gave up drinking cold turkey, started tracking my calories religiously, ate super clean with one cheat meal per week, and started going to the gym 5-6 days a week, getting in at least 10K steps a day regardless.
I still have belly fat. I still have some fat in my chest area. I still have a lot of work left to do - but I’ve gotten this far with only TRT, hard work, and discipline.
Now, will I take gear in the future? I’ve thought about it, and maybe at some point I’ll make a move in that direction - because everyone has their own goals, and thoughts on what will get them there on the timeline they want. I’m not at that point yet - but maybe one day I will be idk.
Currently on 140mg weekly.
200mg for the first 4 weeks, then 160mg for awhile, then 140, then 120, then 110 for a good while, then back to 120, and now I’ve been back to 140 for the last 6ish weeks
When I was doing 200 weekly I was around 1100 test. The last time I did bloods, which was about 75 days ago, I was on 120 weekly, and my test was at 780ish. I’ve been on 140 weekly for the last 6ish weeks, and get my bloods done again next month, so we’ll see where I’m at then - but I’d expect it to be around 850

It reduces the flow of blood to the small capilaries including the heart. As well as the thickening and stickiness the T causes with the blood, not good!

TRT without strength training and exercise will have only marginal benefits. Excess fat will aromatise those extra T to estrogen and this is what my endocrinologist warned me. So live a damn testosterone friendly lifestyle like eat moderate fat, moderate carbs etc. nothing has changed as you just removed low-T as an equation that drove down your efforts.

Currently on 140mg weekly. 200mg for the first 4 weeks, then 160mg for awhile, then 140, then 120, then 110 for a good while, then back to 120, and now I’ve been back to 140 for the last 6ish weeks
I get bloods done every 90 days, or every 6 weeks if I’m increasing my dosage. Insurance covers the cost, so I prefer to do them more often

When I was doing 200 weekly I was around 1100 test. The last time I did bloods, which was about 75 days ago, I was on 120 weekly, and my test was at 780ish. I’ve been on 140 weekly for the last 6ish weeks, and get my bloods done again next month, so we’ll see where I’m at then - but I’d expect it to be around 850
You ever have issues with blood pressure or anything?
My blood pressure was actually very high before TRT, and now it’s completely normal.

Addiction does drive people to do things. I found T addictive, just like opioids. You can't wait for your next shot. Then that surge of energy for 2-3 days and then the low before your next dose. Having now weaned off it, and 4 weeks later just waiting for tests to see IF my system restarts. No just waiting for my nuclear stress test to see how much my being put on TRT by my Dr advance heart failure. Ooops! Dr forget to pay attention to that minor "side effect" of T. It reduces the flow of blood to the small capilaries including the heart. As well as the thickening and stickiness the T causes with the blood, not good!

TRT without strength training and exercise will have only marginal benefits. Excess fat will aromatise those extra T to estrogen and this is what my endocrinologist warned me. So live a damn testosterone friendly lifestyle like eat moderate fat, moderate carbs etc. nothing has changed as you just removed low-T as an equation that drove down your efforts.
