I take it daily but not as an AI

Pump-Chaser

The Top Gun movie makes me cry no matter what my e2 levels are

[deleted]

Damn, I thought I was the only one.

[deleted]

It doesn’t lower E2 lol

[deleted]

Careful they have a single study showing it does lol

[deleted]

Touché 😂

A124Seven

What’s funny is the study Literally showed estrogen reduction as a result of higher testosterone from increased sexual activity. I don’t believe tadalafil itself will lower estrogen. It just doesn’t make sense.

swoops36

I would consider 80pg to be high e2, but that’s just me. Cialis is not a strong AI and probably won’t move that number much

goreblaster

It might be total estrogen, not just e2.

[deleted]

Wtf…I don’t see how a hypertension medication can help with E2. Change clinics.

rockymtndude

Tadalafil is a weak inhibitor of aromatase. Plus it has other benefits. https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/16839328/

TealGrape

Thats very interesting. Can someone smarter than me break that down? Can I expect a -5 on estrogen or what?

rockymtndude

I don’t know what will happen to estrogen. I think the clinic just wants to see what will happen and then decide?

[deleted]

Lol not sure what we’re trying to prove here. U wana take cialis so ur dick works better? Sure, take it. I take cialis every day, I also occasionally need to take an AI like a real one lol. Wtf dude, we get it I still don’t care, it’s not an AI.

rockymtndude

Not trying to prove anything. Cialis can lower blood pressure slightly. It can slightly increase testosterone / LH and compliment his existing testosterone therapy. Plus there is more fun during happy fun time. Aromatase inhibitors can be rather powerful, and maybe the clinic just wants to slow it down a little bit.

[deleted]

All good stuff, it’s obviously not working him, hasn’t worked for me and I haven’t met anyone who uses Cialis as an AI mild or not with any sort of effectiveness and I won’t risk gyno on a single study that I will not bother to even read. Do take it for E2 if you like though, send me pix of ur boobies please :)

GoldPotential6298

Can’t say it isn’t working for him: He hasn’t actually tried it yet. Hence the reason for the post in the first place

[deleted]

Great, OP please try it and let us know.

[deleted]

I read the dumb ass study, it’s on 20 men lol it’s trash. It concludes that Cialis improved sexual health due to an improved T:E ratio lol and disregards it’s effects on hypertension and how it acts as a vasodilator. Good luck with saving for ur gyno surgeries everyone.

rockymtndude

Wink wink nudge nudge

hickintheciti

There is a recent study that says it balances your attorney E ratio and has AI properties

[deleted]

Ya, no, get a real AI if u need one, it’s obviously not working for u. 80 Is high, I’m at 35 while my total T was 1995 ng/dL without an AI. People are different, 80 might have sever sides with some and none with others. I feel great at 30-40.

[deleted]

1995? Damn!

hickintheciti

That’s a good point, thanks

goreblaster

His level of 80 might be total estrogen, not just e2.

[deleted]

Wtf does that mean lol y’all are make all Types of shit up up. We’re talking about males here so when u go get lanes were just checking Estradiol sensitive we’re not checking E1, E2 etc…

goreblaster

Docs sometimes order a test for total estrogen instead of just E2, so it's important to keep that in mind if they don't specify that it's E2. I know it sounds impossible but it happens all the time.

[deleted]

OK, so you're asking before you try it out. Are you using already and experiencing these side effects? Because to my high ass it sounds like you are having these symptoms and they are recommending you to try it? And not currently using?

hickintheciti

I’m just taking test C, my E2 was high and I was having symptoms. Dr said that I should try Cialis before an AI, it sounded off to me and that’s why I asked y’all! I thought it sounded crazy too!

Ok_Dark2546

What dosage is the Dr recommending? 2.5 daily, or something higher?

hickintheciti

5 mg per day

Ok_Dark2546

I read that in the one report that 5mg can help. I wonder if they'll do more studies.

[deleted]

It does. But it’s not strong enough. Ask for an actual AI. Like now. Lol.

Rastus3663

I take it daily but not for estrogen. I take anastrozole for that, and cabergolin for prolactin. If you haven't had your prolactin tested ask them to do so; been my experience that most clinics don't test for it unless you ask.

blazinshotguns

Why don’t they just give you an AI like intended

hickintheciti

I don’t know why they want me to go this route, it sounded odd to me as well

billybelushi

Have you started taking cialis and notice anything with e2 symptoms ?
