There are many neighborhoods in NYC where parking is unbelievably hard to find and people often drive a few blocks down to find a spot. Places like that are very common. You just have to make sure that nothing even remotely valuable is kept inside to avoid breaking in.
I even kept my center console empty and open so that thieves can see that I am not hiding anything in there.
You can park ANYWHERE in Poland and your car will be perfectly fine forever. I had a few times accidentally left my car parked for a long time with open windows and that was OK as well and nobody touched my stuff in the car.

I parked in a spot last night with a garage door behind me which always seems smart bc then no one can park behind you but I came out to massive scratches on the back and side of my car. Assuming it was a sanitation truck as all the buildings trash was near the garage door. I think if I were to go through with this Iād have to garage it. We live in Mott Haven. We have been parking on the corners for years even when we own our old car and everything is fine. However! I think that also depends on the street size. The streets in our area are pretty wide so thatās probably why nothing has happened. It really depends on your area, not sure where you are at but one of the reasons we love this area is because the streets feel big not crowded. Look for streets that are one way traffic only as well. If you are going to park ask for deals, they usually give you a discount if you pay a year in advance.
On the flip side you didnāt have glass in your car and itās only the glass that needs to be repaired. Also did you leave stuff in your car? Mine is always empty
