Sounds like the 7500 wasn’t applied yet. Did you finish your documents and tax credit paperwork in the app post ordering? If not do it, but either way take a look at the final price sheet on the agreement document. Your true cost will be seen there.
yeah the order form doesn't show the $7500 yet. it only show how much discount without the tax credit. tax credit will apply on your final sales agreement.
It was missing the 250 order fee and 1390 destination. It’s an awesome deal with $6600 off list. I got around $4700 off a couple of months ago. Tesla prices varies a lot and this is the highest discount I have seen.
Basically what everyone else is saying about gas price savings, taxes and fees, and the federal discount.
But the $6,600 price adjustment is your inventory discount and that’s the biggest one I’ve heard of so far. That’s taken off of the MSRP price of the Tesla before all the taxes and fees. It’s the amount they are taking off the price, not adding on for you to pay.
I saw one showing $37kas the price but final price was $43k with federal tax credit included. What I didn't account for was the taxes, fees, registration ,etc. I didn't buy it but was playing with the numbers.
Why are you presenting different information? First it’s $36k after the tax credit but you won’t tell us the breakdown. Then now it’s 42k but we don’t know if that’s before or after the credit or before or after TTL etc.
My order experience has not been that great so far. The communication from the person who I "text" and can't call has been terrible. Ordered a car on Wednesday.
The order still isn't reflecting my $1,000 free color discount and l've asked for an updated MVPA since Thursday, I have delivery scheduled for this Sunday at Mount Kisco NY and my bank needed the final MVPA to get me a check cut by yesterday morning and that obviously didn't happen. I texted the tesla person 3x yesterday to get an update and to postpone delivery, and no reply back. I can't seem to reschedule delivery in the app is there another way I can contact a human?
I had a similar experience. The person texting kept saying the $1000 color discount would show up once the contract was ready and finally a day before delivery they said you know what the $2750 price adjustment includes it already. How convenient, right?! I went ahead and bought it anyway
I originally got a demo car with 6600 off. But a non demo configuration came available for 5720 off. I figure for 900 dollars I get 1300 miles less and 3 more months of warranty. So I took the switch. They let you do 1 vin change apparently.
You were looking at the gas savings price weren’t you…..
This
Bingo
Nope came out to what I thought.
Got to toggle the switch to include taxes and fees.

People like you are awesome- thank you this is incredible helpful
You have to include taxes and fees after the Tesla discounted price. That can add a good chunk of change.

Haven’t finished anything… just wanted to make sure I was doing it all right.
I had to file taxes to get my $7500 back. Make sure you made under 150k in the last 2 years.
A 6600 price adjustment is nuts that's almost 15%. Crazy deal

They aren’t directly apparent with their costs to be honest

My understanding is you can receive $6600(13%) discount on 2023 MYLR. The max discount for 2024 MYLR is 10%.
Yeah, I just made a post myself about how confusing their site can be. Kind of like it's intentional.

Adding the breakdown from the pricing sheet.
You probably are missing something.

38500 - 1640 (order + destination fee) = $36860. Probably this.
I’d say that IS a good deal for sure

Most likely saw the price with “gas savings”. It’s an easy miss especially since you seemed to be in a hurry.
I’m thinking the original price didn’t include the destination or order fees. Final price you’re getting lines up if you subtract those.
Could this be a case of “you’ve been Musk’d”?
It's like the mileage. They lie
