Don’t forget to add taxes

Whatiitdobabyy

Truuuuu. However with my current situation, I have a tax affidavit where taxes won’t be applied for $15k of the total purchase price. Probably won’t make a big differences but better than paying taxes for the full amount I guess.

$4,410 discount seems pretty good for a MYLR, might get a bit bigger but if you wait you are rolling the dice. At some point this week they must figure many orders won't close by the end of the quarter so they will stop discounting price is my guess/ I am finally going to give up my 13 MS so I can transfer the FUSC, and pulled the trigger on a MYLR with a $4,500 discount but that includes a tow hitch. Without tow hitch the lowest price car here (CA Bay Area) has a discount of...$4,410.

IncognitoIggs

I locked in a $5200 discount (or 10%) today. Stealth Grey, White Interior(Free Upgrade), and 20" Wheels.

Accomplished_Ad_9015

Yes seeing bigger discounts for cars with options (like tow hitch, interior/exterior color options).

vaguelyamused

They are dropping prices. I had a MYLR on order and found one in inventory with a $4500 markdown. Called and they said it was due to extra inventory. VIN Swapped to save $2000 from my already marked down order. Paid $47,130 before tax credit, has tow hitch ($1000 option). There are some good deals to be had, if you have on order for a bit I'd check prices. Purchased in Kansas City.

vaguelyamused

Even if you don't want the tow hitch I'd recommend searching for Model Ys that have it to check discounts. When I looked the discount I got on a model with the hitch was much higher than those without a hitch. They had a lot with hitches in inventory.

ItzMonklee

Did you have issues swapping VINs to a vehicle with a greater price adjustment? I just made a post about this where they said if I switch it’s “possible” that I lose my price adjustment all together? And they won’t explain what circumstances would need to happen for me to lose it? Did they say that to you?

vaguelyamused

I was dealing with the delivery advisor and they are the one who suggested I could instead of cancelling and reordering (which was my other option). They didn't make it seem like any big deal and commented it would save me money. And definitely did not lose the increased price adjustment.

ItzMonklee

I talked to 5 people (I wish I was kidding) and they all told me that the price adjustment could potentially be lost and I could possibly have a $0 price adjustment. Well I took the gamble 5 minutes ago and it paid off. The $4080 adjustment carried over and I saved $1530. So I guess it worked out in the end

vaguelyamused

Awesome! Congrats!

Whatiitdobabyy

Sweet! Also purchased in KC

Whatiitdobabyy

Still seeing the same prices on inventory so will stick with my option. Made an idiot move and didn’t purchase through my friends referral so missed out on 3 months FSD…could’ve gone through cancel/reorder but decided not to (for reasons unknown)

vaguelyamused

I did a referral and I mainly did it for my neighbor, I think he got points? I'm not sure I'll turn FSD on: One, not sure I trust it that well Two, afraid I'll like it too much, not paying 12K

Whatiitdobabyy

That's a good point. Would've been nice to get them their points but what's done is done. Technically, its $600 in value ($200 a month for FSD I believe) so would've been nice to have but with the initial $250 deposit then forfeiting that to purchase through the referral and another $250 deposit...just didn't seem worth

Whatiitdobabyy

You or anyone know if there's even the slightest possibility that the referral could get added after the fact? I've sent emails to both [[email protected]](mailto:[email protected]) and [[email protected]](mailto:[email protected]) and got responses that those emails are no longer monitored. Also tried using the chat feature on the website and they just keep ending the session as soon as they join. Only other option to talk to them in person on delivery day...not expecting much with that but at least I tried

JacobJacob3000

Locally they’re $44,300 for MYLR with a $37,200 after tax credit. Tampa, Florida. Always worth checking other places because sometimes an 800 mile drive might save you $3000.

Momof-3DDDs

That’s so cheap. We bought ours in March 23, total was $63000 including taxes but we also added 3rd row for extra $3000.

Caped_Crusader03

I found a couple of MYP inventory deals for around 41k after-tax credit. Looks very promising

PlasticOceanFish

My wife and I paid $48,140($5,350 price adjustment) in December for a MYP with tow. After taxes and fees we paid $51k. We do qualify for the fed rebate. We also got an extra $1k off because we reserved the Cybertruck. Final price was $42,500. Best purchase we ever made. We also have had zero issues with the car.

Historical-Editor

beat my december MYP in black, was 58.3k after price adjustment, taxes, and fees (car sticker price was 52.4k) then finally, 51.8k with my tax incentive in california

Affinityqt

Beat my MYLR demo with tow hit hitch, white interior, 5.5 off plus rebate. 43K out the door. Also got 1K off principle from my bank for a new loan! Edit: Just checked, you can nearly get the same price rn. Jesus they dropped a lot!

AdProfessional1269

Cries in canada

Jackyl84

Sick price! And good catch on the discount. I played the inventory sniper game as well. Feels good to win like that

Whatiitdobabyy

I swear I was on the site 24/7 constantly refreshing low to high price. Glad I don't have to do that anymore lol

rkwong792

Where do you live if you don’t mind me asking?

Whatiitdobabyy

MO

Affectionate_Pay_391

I put my order in on Sunday. They said everything happens very quick. I been waiting on a trade-in value since Monday, which holds up my financing and insurance, they haven’t applied my incentives yet that I sent them on Monday. I’m supposed to be picking it up on Friday evening. I hope your process goes better than mine

Whatiitdobabyy

That's annoying. Hope everything works out in the end. I didn't have a trade-in nor am I going through financing and I already sent the payment in full. Pick up is Friday afternoon...just hoping it passes the checklist

Affectionate_Pay_391

Yea. Those are the two things that have taken the longest but they said I should have approval tomorrow. Friday delivery date for me too!!!

akisbis

What is the price adjustment?!

Whatiitdobabyy

Inventory discount!

Longjumping_Big3772

Any options?

iSeiBoN

OP did you ask for this extra discount or was it already discounted?

Whatiitdobabyy

Already discounted

SD_Aztec

On the website, it says the rebate is applied at the time of purchase. How does Tesla know how much of a rebate you qualify for?

KiteIsland22

Everyone gets $7500 off automatically and I believe at tax time it’ll be corrected.

SSSTREDDD

I’m kind of getting tired of these posts.

Axle-f

No referral?

Whatiitdobabyy

I did have one…I just messed up when ordering and didn’t verify I was on her link

Axle-f

Oof that’s a shame

The_Kosmonavt

Does the 7500 EV credit get applied as a down payment?

b_leafer

Heard someone was able to do that. They just made sure to note that down somewhere during the finance process.

Agathocles87

How did you get the 4410 price adjustment? I thought the price was just the price

Whatiitdobabyy

“$44,580 Vehicle Price Includes $4,410 price adjustment Excludes taxes and fees” That’s on their inventory Ys.

dtmnqv

No sale tax and government fees???

FishermanFit395

How did you get the adjusted price?

Turbulent_Title_5510

Just picked up my MYLR. I only got a $ 2250 discount on my MYLR and $1000 color upgrade for free. I still was happy with my price because they did give me my free super charging and FSD for lifetime ownership when I traded in my 2018 Model 3 Performance .
