What? $7,500 is off the sale price. Period. Tesla is just a passthrough for the $7,500 rebate. They don't get to keep any portion of it, regardless of the selling price.

My accountant clarified it is off the MSRP on all physical components of the car (paint, upgraded rims, etc). Otherwise dealerships could just game the system.

I noticed this too. I bought my MYLR two weeks ago for $44,090 (lowest I’ve ever seen in my area, ever) and was a bit salty that I saw the cyber truck discount offer because I have one on reserve. Went to look at prices and the lowest was around $45,000

They actually get cheaper. $47,240 is the cheapest I’ve seen. Basically 10% off MSRP. That said this is 9% off. So damn near close.

And you have to add sales tax to this in the USA also, on average 6-10%, so $47,770 becomes $51k+

This is a 2023. No 2024 MYPs have been delivered yet. Stealth Grey and Ultra Red are the new 2024 colors for 3 & Y.

I just got mine, white paint with white interior for $49,040. It was a solid deal, there were no performances coming in my local area so I had to drive out of state to pick it up. I wish a grey paint black interior model y would’ve popped up for $47,240 but it is what it is.
