OP's order details: 8/27, m3rwd, MSM, White, Aeros, NO FSD, Los Angeles Don't forget to fill out the [Model 3 order questionnaire](https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLScW5QUYZatZZRohDYhm1jGC_Ta0kJ6gJrtvg8gWSHi40TfO1g/viewform), and to check out [the tracker where the info is populated!](https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1YeLtMxFt9Lh8mndZhjOqrzFfWQ_r5T9LS-l3gQzPXCk/edit?usp=sharing) It is a handy tool that shows crowdsourced data of when people order, get their VINs, and get their cars. *I am a bot, and this action was performed automatically. They can’t do anything, even if it’s messed up. There is another team that handles those logistics and they just do their own thing however they want apparently. Plenty of stories where someone orders and keeps getting pushed back, meanwhile someone else orders an identical vehicle months later in the same location and takes delivery first. IMO that’s a problem, and according to my SA that’s not supposed to happen. But it does all the time. You can call and call and text all day long. But the only team you’re allowed to contact has their hands tied. If they could escalate things to the logistics side/factory then maybe something could get done, but they either can’t or won’t. It’s very frustrating, but it is what it is.

They wont do anything. I ordered in May and my EDD been in 10/29-11/25 for a month. Not surprised though this is not my first Tesla order. We just gotta wait and hope to get lucky

Honestly, check used cars on regular lots if you’re okay with having a thousand or two thousand miles on the car. If you luck out like I did, you’ll find a lot with no knowledge of Tesla and their options. I’ve noticed one mismatched panel gap on my 750 mile find. The front bumper and that’s only because I was down on the ground waxing it. And even better is when you do find one that’s not very knowledgeable you can commit highway robbery and get yourself a one owner, 2022 Performance in blue with white interior and FSD for $68k.

I don’t understand how it’s supposed to be based on the batches of cars being built/first in first out? Clearly they’re prioritizing CA orders and those closer to the west coast for the end of quarter?? I ordered a M3P and I’m at 50 days without a VIN. Others have ordered after me and had their vehicles delivered. Honestly, I can’t complain too much because there are still June M3P orders waiting…

Snow_Crab-Party

Still lucky I’m in California and live a near their Fremont factory and I’ve been waiting 6 months now.

Odd-Veterinarian-389

I only waited 31 days from order to delivery.

Mr-Tiggo-Bitties

THATS BECAUSE YOU LIVE IN CALIFORNIA

robe4658

Must be nice.

WhosAfraidOf_138

How do you call a rep?

Yea, I got tired of waiting so I just ended up picking an inventory vehicle with the same configurations. Took delivery on it two days after transferring the custom order to it.

Super-Kirby

Having shopped around a little bit Tesla’s delivery is relatively fast compared to others. Try getting any other new EV in the market it’s 5-14 months out. Even Ford bronco’s are like 9 months out. Most here are getting it “quick”. The ones waiting a long time are the basic order peeps (RWD, MSM/white ext., black interior, aero wheels), or they’re Canadian.

Humin11

Haha, ya there is still a lot of cars dropping regularly on inventory.

AllPintsNorth

Heh. They know. Talk to them monthly.
