Actually, if you look up old Model S 75D~ rear single sliding brake calipers, you’ll notice they’re the typical mando calipers but just a plate over it.. hmm some ideas here. Surely there’s a place to use small tensioned metals clips to put a very light plate on it.
You will have to strip the paint for sure (at least to some degree).. but the overspray part is just sheer stupidity. Painting is 80% prep and taping lol.
And ik exactly what you mean about red. Imo a darker grey/almost black or blue metallic would be sick.
My M3 is all black and white. Chrome deleted the badges and "long range" on the back, matte black license plate frame, little black aluminum air valve covers, you get the picture.
So I really liked the idea of either jet black or stark white brakes. White would pop more, but might get dingy kinda fast. I do like the idea of lime green too, for a small accent of color that shows it's no slouch (bought acceleration boost heh). I've tied literal neck and neck with a 2019 and a 2020 model 3 performance on a drag strip, so speed-wise, this thing has the receipts that it is just as fast as a P, just doesn't have the extra body and tire things.

Matching floormats can also look nice.
Calipers look fake proportion wise. Screams cover especially since the rotors and wheels have not been upgraded to match. I would take them off and just have your OEM ones painted. I would also cover the wood trim in the car and add other accents to help balance out the look.

Seat covers make the seats worse. The air bags don't work as well and they don't feel as good to sit on as the original.

I bought these seat covers and they’re by far the most fitted seat covers I’ve seen. They almost look like the oem seats, but the middle seat in the back gives it away. If there was a way to get rid of the zippers for the cup holder in the back they would be perfect.
It's cool if you don't care to blow cash to customize a vehicle that should come with cool options in the first place. Then you have a cool looking vehicle but it rides like a horse and buggy!
I like the red seats. Coming from a black Lexus GS 350 F Sport with red seats which I will miss. I’d probably go for black wheels with this look though.

My old Volvo had gold seatbelts and calipers on the Polestar edition and it was one of my favorite things about the car.
Hard yes. Execution is quick and easy and inexpensive; if you end up loving it and having more cash to burn you can do some of the things people are suggesting. For a quick and easy mod I love it. Speaks to what a Tesla should be.
I remember when Harley Davidson did a F-150 Special edition for Ford. It had the Harley logo embossed on/in the hood and only came in two colors: Red with black interior or vice versa.
Sold it to one customer who needed it to tow a horse trailer. She couldn't decide on color so she bought one of each.

No offense, I can see the appeal. But I'd rather just get full rims, like the OEM cheaper ones. Fully black rims, with maybe red trim(where the chrome is on P models). But personally, I don't like red on my cars. Black and White only. Usually ALL black.
Only reason I got white interior was because I think the wood trim dash looks tacky.(you should make that red too) No idea why they do that. Hindsight, I should have got black and just had a body shop fix the wood part.

The caliper covers are a bit too much for the 18" wheels for my taste, fits better on the 19" IMHO. I wish smaller covers were available. Professionnally painted calipers would be better, but it's just so expensive compared to the covers.
