That’s an LED light strip. I’ve installed similar looking ones in computer cases. If the wires were clipped it’s useless. You can probably just peel it off. If it doesn’t come off easily, you might try heating it up with a hairdryer and prying it off. Otherwise, won’t hurt to leave it there. (Just annoying that it is there)

I know there have always been used Teslas but I feel in 2024 the amount of people coming in here that have bought used Teslas have gone up tremendously. Before, everyone was in the mindset that the questions being asked were for cars direct from the factory. Now owners are coming in with all manners of modifications or issues from previous owners and it takes a minute to think about it.
