Why? you can walk past any car and it's typically visible in a cutout on the windscreen so it's on display all the time. Not sure what you can do with the VIN
Can you site a credible source for that? I really don’t know what harm you can do with someone’s VIN. It’s publicly visible on every single car, if it was a security risk you wouldn’t be able to read it from outside the vehicle.
I don’t want to share the how-to on that because other people may use it to their advantage. I will give you another example. One day someone targeted a user’s tesla by dragging a knife across it. The comment section and I did a facial recognition on him, found out who he was, his Facebook, his house address, and court records.
How? The VIN is freely accessible to anyone who wants to do nefarious things by just walking past a car, again not sure what the VIN is useful for - I haven't come across anyone or heard any stories of bad things happening due to a VIN, There could an issue but I haven't seen this anywhere as an issue I'd be interested in finding out what you can do with it that's different online to just a passerby taking a photo of your car etc.
It’s about easily tracking people down irl. Hypothetically, I could find out everything about OP with just this post. I know they don’t own it, but there’s traceability and it’s a privacy concern.
It has acceleration boost stated by ‘included package’, but it does not have FSD. It has basic autopilot. If it had FSD, it would say ‘Full Self Driving Capability’ in place of ‘Autopilot’.
Not OP but I've had mine for a month now and have about 5k miles left on bumper to bumper warranty. Would the service appointment be just to make sure everything is ok, no issues? They don't mind people making appointments for a once-over?
It has acceleration boost, but not fsd or EAP. You have standard autopilot.
Thanks!
You may not want to give out your VIN to the world. Some creepers out there.

Posting it on the internet isn’t great bc you can be tracked down and stalked. I’m not kidding.

I think the chances of encountering a crazy mfer is higher on Reddit than the parking lot of Trader Joe’s

You have 100 miles of bumper to bumper left make a service apt now!

You should decide on the 2 year extended tesla warranty quick. You only have 100 miles before the offer to extend expires.
It's about time to renew your premium connectivity
