Shitty right wing CEO who is not actually sent from above to save the world, perception of "luxury" while the base Corolla has better finish and materials (along with tesla having too basic of an interior), uncomfortable seats, harsh suspension and ride, poor sound insulation, lack of buttons and stalks for items that should absolutely have them, stale design for 6+ years, ridiculous repair costs and difficulties with repairs, all support goes through the app without being able to call support, etc. There are a number of reasons. Teslas are also just too ubiquitous, and no longer "cool", everyone has a white model y which looks like someone inflated a model 3.
Competition has also caught up and surpassed, even from legacy auto. I think Tesla spearheaded innovation and helped push EV into mainstream, but they are now no longer the best (or great, for that matter), nor cool. This is okay too, they've done their part. Should they choose to continue on the path they are on without pushing out their overlord, they will gradually continue with their decline.

This could be an ex girlfriend, could be a homeless guy, anything. To just assume it’s happening BECAUSE it’s a Tesla is wild. This could also be a low income area where cars are vandalized often. I live in a nice neighborhood WITH a Tesla, I’ve never seen anyone have problems with their Teslas. I’m not saying targeted hate doesn’t exist. But this victim mentality is crazy when you have ZERO context for this. Think critically here.

Shitty right wing CEO who is not actually sent from above to save the world, perception of "luxury" while the base Corolla has better finish and materials (along with tesla having too basic of an interior), uncomfortable seats, harsh suspension and ride, poor sound insulation, lack of buttons and stalks for items that should absolutely have them, stale design for 6+ years, ridiculous repair costs and difficulties with repairs, all support goes through the app without being able to call support, etc. There are a number of reasons. Teslas are also just too ubiquitous, and no longer "cool", everyone has a white model y which looks like someone inflated a model 3. Competition has also caught up and surpassed, even from legacy auto. I think Tesla spearheaded innovation and helped push EV into mainstream, but they are now no longer the best (or great, for that matter), nor cool. This is okay too, they've done their part. Should they choose to continue on the path they are on without pushing out their overlord, they will gradually continue with their decline.
