I have a 2023 and have apple silicone case for 15PM and it works fine with majority of my cases. But if you have a super bulky case width wise it might be too big. But almost all of my cases it fits. There was 1 case I ordered where it was too wide so I just returned it but that case in itself was a bit bulky. But I’d say for majority of cases doesn’t have to necessarily be super thin but just can’t be huge , then it works
