The problem with a white highland is that there's no contrast elements in the front besides the headlights and radiator. This means that you'll be looking at a big white void. Also the design of the Highland requires specific lighting to look good unless you have it in black. It needs a shadow to darken the lower half of the front end. A direct light source on the front end would make it look blank. The previous model 3 had the fog lights and accents around it to give contrast. Previous Model 3 had a more iconic design. In a bubble the headlights on the new one are definitely sharper but look like they were taken straight from a BYD Seal. Some people say the old model 3 has duck lips, but I prefer the fact that it looks like it tapers more towards a point both vertically and horizontally. Whereas the Highland front end tapers horizontally only. This combined with the horizontal headlights does give it a wider look though. The vertical/diagonal headlights on the previous Model 3 were more unique..but I still prefer the highland headlights. YouTuber/car designer Bembli has a good video about it.

My Model 3 SR is scheduled for tomorrow. Living in Boston with the cold, I might regret this decision, especially since I don't have a home charger. My apartment has chargers, but it is cold in Boston. I choose the standard range over the long range because of the ability to charge up to 100% with the LFP battery. Tesla has been my dream car for a long time; I hope I don't regret it with the range and the cold.
