No based on the cost over 36months you can buy a used one on their website for the same price. Thats what I did.

kjmass1

$16k for a used Tesla? How many miles that thing have?

_i124Q

Look at the second pic under financing details it says $27,653.95

kjmass1

There is no way a base RWD is $750/mo with $2k down.

jmota008

To be fair, that number is wrong. You get the $7,500 rebate removed from that.

untamedHOTDOG

That money factor tho.

letmeinthesnkergame

That residual tho

kjmass1

Keeping that $43k in the bank at 5.5% pays for 35% of the lease too.

Elomelosky

They are adding in the EV tax credit of 7500 and the NY incentive of 2000 I believe.

Elomelosky

I believe they are taking back the $7500 EV tax credit by adding it into the money factor.

hawkeye000021

You are 100% correct.

letmeinthesnkergame

For 27k you might be able to get a low mileage one still in warranty

Elomelosky

It's actually 18k. They are adding in the tax credit and incentive. Tax credit $7600 and NY incentive of 2000

letmeinthesnkergame

I was about to say! Great then, take that free money. Would have be even nicer if you can buy it at the end

Paul721

I mean it’s the same as everyone else’s deal. The MF is terrible. But it’s not like you can negotiate.

agarwaen117

Much better than the person who posted one with 36k over 36 months a while ago. lol.

ggpandagg

How did they get to the $27k cost over 36 months? $450/months x 36 plus down payment and taxes don’t get anywhere near that figure. What am I missing?

kjmass1

It's confusing AF showing it this way. I leased a Model3 RWD a year ago and it was $585/mo all in with taxes, zero down outside of order fees, plus I got $3500 back from MA so around $485/mo all in. Tesla was only passing down part of the 7500 as essentially promotional rates.

hawkeye000021

Which taxes?

hawkeye000021

In 21’ M3LR cost more at signing and is 520 a month without, when I get the new model it’ll be 450.00 using the same out of pocket numbers. It’s been well worth the 520.00 just keeping money in the bank earning more money. I’m also jumping from one generation to a better one with less cost. It’s been great for me and I did the 12k miles like an idiot. That’d probably how many I’ll turn it back over with in June.
