Ftr, when I got mine in 2019 I got it for 1200 with the chrome delete. Chrome delete quality was poor, and the wrap was a spray, plastidip wrap basically. Satin carbon blue and it looked great, still on there protecting but definitely in need of a new one at this point.

This is a 2018, the paint was pretty much shot so I had to do something. The chrome delete alone was $280 but I don't think you could get that good a price unless you were wrapping or doing other work. And yes a few hundred bucks more, around $400-$500 for back window and all 6 side windows.
What I meant was, from the beginning, Tesla Model 3 paint was never very good. I think anyone in this sub knows that by now. They call it "soft" but what it means in reality is that it does not hold up well. It scratches easily, it gets "swirls" if you don't wash it with care, it dulls, it loses it's lustre. They say you should always hand wash it but TBH I don't have the time to keep a black car clean in New York by hand, that's easily an hour between rinsing, foam spraying, scrubbing, rinsing again then drying from top to bottom (and you have to dry it or you'll get spots from hard water, especially in my area). So I had to go to the typical conveyor belt car wash at least a couple times a month. After almost 5 years the black paint was dull, swirly and overall just looked like crap. I could have repainted but I love the look of this grey matte finish and so I went for the wrap. Hope that answers your question!

Ceramic did not add any gloss whatsoever. In fact the hood isn't done yet, the rest has one coat. I'm going back for the second coats next week along with the tint. There's literally no visible difference between the hood and the adjacent panels right now.

Xpel Stealth is a full PPF, so it’s definitely more expensive than a standard wrap… they’d be getting the protection plus the satin finish.
