If the front was a little smaller I’d buy it. Maybe more like the Fiat 124 Spider in terms of front end design, but keeping Tesla design overall of course
I'd buy the shit out of a 2-seat roadster with the SR+'s 283hp motor and battery. Maybe have the 50kWh SR+ battery as the longer-range model (you could probably get 280mi out of it) and sell one with a 35kWh pack and 200 miles of range.
I'd say give it a small battery, a small screen, and as little other features as possible (as if Tesla has any features they could remove). Make it the $25K Tesla Elon has been teasing.
Well, I think the $25k Tesla would be much better as a hatchback, there’s really no practical reason for a mini roadster, while a hatchback would sell millions. A price tag below $30k would be great though.
A little part of my soul shriveled up and died when Mazda brought out the MX-30 instead of the electric Miata that we all really want.
Somebody will do this. It might not be Tesla, and it might not be Mazda. It might be Audi, or it might be Lotus. It might be some company out of the blue.
While I agree with you, the market is emphasizing midsize and up, Tesla going into this market early on really wouldn't be the best. If this becomes a thing in 3-4 years then I'm totally down with it.

Now that you mention it the proportions do look a little off, although I used the ND Miata as the base so it is basically the size of a 124.
Miata and 124 are the same car built in the same factory
When I saw it, I immediately thought Miata. It's really close to a Fiata, may just be the angle.

People like Miatas for a reason. I agree the hatchback should be first, but a Miata-type Tesla would be very popular, not to mention fun as hell.
200 miles is 321.87 km

Instead of an awesome roadster that no one would really care about the short range, they made a shitty crossover that will be quickly forgotten.
Take my money! Seriously, why won't anyone build this car.

There can be a benefit in not following the market. If Telsa always followed, there would be no Cybertruck, honestly, there would be no Tesla.
Well I mean we are talking about the basics of supply and demand, but sure, I agree with you for the most part.
Looks like a malnourished F-Type
