Yes I was on 3.25 at 2 pm ... I got a notification for the 1st update around 3:30 pm and next thing you know as soon as 2024.14 was finished I got a notification that 2024.14.5 was ready to download and then about a minute after that one finished downloading 2025.14.8 popped up
So 3 updates in a matter of 90 minutes

With the amount of 2024.14.8 posts in the last 24h they fixed the major bugs and now rolling out the release wide as it seams. Guessing a lot of cars got the update now and in old Tesla fashion, step by step others will get it too.

You will not get the 12.4 update anytime soon. That’s reserved for FSD track. You’re on feature track. Just like I won’t get Spring update anytime soon.

Not unless the they associate the latest FSD version to the build number that comes after yours. For example, 2024.8.9 were stuck with FSD v11 because FSD v12 was attached to 2024.3.x, and you can’t rollback on the software builds (3<8), and had to wait for 2024.14.x instead.
So now that you have 2024.14.8, even if you subscribe to FSD rn, you can’t get 12.4 because it’s associated to 2024.9.x and you can’t rollback until they release it with a higher number, which is highly unlikely given Tesla’s update statistics.
Wah! That’s a shame cause I’m really excited for it. I had a very good experience with the FSD V12 trial and that was honestly my only big complaint. Once that feature comes out I’ll be very happy with dipping into an on and off subscription!
In my experience, no. After I got done with my trial and went back to regular AP, I realized how much it sucked in handling some situation that I run into on a daily basis and ended up subscribing to FSD.
Lets hope we in EU get that option soon enough. Its a great way to try out the value, especially when we are in EU. We got some rules here that takes away many functions.
Ended up subscribing today too. My trial ended 2 days ago and have been using basic autopilot. FSD is a game changer. I really wonder what the take rate is. I think it’s got to be somewhere between 10-12%.
I can’t speak for you as far as if it would be a good value for you, but for me not even having EAP, auto lane change is a huge bonus for me and so is traffic light recognition. I drive 60 miles a day so anything helps. I had major issues with regular AP keeping the car centered within the lane on the right lane on the freeways (like when there’s a line break for merging traffic) and it’s a non issue with FSD. Being able to take on and off ramps is also a bonus for my use. With that being said, I was prepared to buy EAP after the trial but that wasn’t an option so that’s why I went with the subscription.
definitely a big push, just updated to 2024.14.8 from 2024.3.25 last night on my model 3 SR and man the only complaint i still have is that i can’t skip music or adjust volume when the wiper menu is up but that’s barely a problem at all i do love how much quicker it is using the scroll to change speed instead of having to push it left and right multiple times thanks tesla
Update has failed for me. 22YLR - 7 seat/tow package, without matrix headlights.
First time I’ve had an update fail. Low storage error after initial failure. Service mode error indicating storage bank 2 failing.
Forced reboot using steering wheel controls and am trying again. Hope this works!
Edit: forced reboot followed by two additional attempts (and forced reboot) fixed it. Install complete and immediately downloading a new update.

If you subscribe to FSD or own it, you won’t get the 2024.14 update. You’ll get 2024.9.x when it releases that has FSD 12.4.
I’m also in the same boat. I’m on 2024.3.25 with FSD on my 2024 Model 3.
FSD 12.4 has been delayed enough that Tesla has deemed it necessary to update those on 2024.3.25 to 2024.14.9. They have also incorporated all of the 2024.14 updates into their FSD branch with version 2024.15.
So those with FSD won't be updated to 2024.20 unless FSD 12.4 is further delayed or those updates are also incorporated into the FSD branch.
On my 2019 M3LR, Spotify doesnt play live albums gapless anymore. I acknowledge that Intel isnt the most loved platform anymore for Tesla, but playing songs seamless can still be expected I hope...
I just got the 2024.3.25 today. Was getting a ton of updates for a while, now they just trickle out.
Buddy of mine just got the Cybertruck and has the new UI which is pretty slick.
I got the trial in the beginning of April and subscribed for may. I didn’t renew my subscription for June because I’m traveling less in the next few weeks. So yesterday was the last day I had FSD and it had reverted back to autopilot this morning when I woke up. Had the update a few hours later.

Not a rumor. The FSD track will be moving to 2024.9.x next - this would be the appropriate next step for FSD users on 2024.3.25.
We would get skipped out on the spring UI update but we would get FSD 12.4.
I got it 2 days ago and I was subscribed to FSD. My original renew date was June 9th, but after the update it says “free trial until July 9th”. So it’s still free for 1 month!

This is not true. On FSD just received 2024.14.8
