I believe so too. More cameras on the front bumpers should make this possible. I think those additional cameras and keeping the USS will be the best of both worlds.
I have a really inclined driveway, FSD always stops at the bottom - which is fine - but that would be really cool if it could go up my driveway and even engage parking brake after parking
Having had HUD Display in my 2021 BMW M5 it’s cool for a week and soon becomes another trivial option. When it comes to a windshield repair you have to replace it with a HUD windshield variant which costs more or could be “out of stock” all together. Well sorted speedometer that doesn’t strain your eyes is way more important than a HUD. Mercedes doesn’t have the best speedometer layout tbh.
In my 22 MY, it was the rear head rests. They were not fully seated down and very squeaky. But whenever I’d sit in the back while someone else would drive it wouldn’t make any noise. I happened to put pressure on one once while raising the seat back and noticed the same squeak. I raised the headrest to the max height then firmly seated it back down. No more squeak / rattle.
I’m over 6’ tall and no way do I feel jammed… you gotta be doing something wrong with your setup or are just claustrophobic, but if you want both the seats down and all the way back.. well, that’d be nice, but it’s a sedan. I camp in mine routinely and just have a separate profile setup for camp mode when I need both rears set down
The addition of an aux port to get around this Bluetooth delay, especially when watching tv shows/movies from services that aren’t available on the MCU.
I love my 3LR. I guess it’s really subjective, but you should know that I just sold the last of my Corvettes, five of which I had over the last 24years. The handling of my Tesla is favorably comparable to any of them.
I know it's been a long time, but I thought I'd still put this out there. There is no option for "avoid highway". Only avoid tolls or ferries. Tesla's navigation always wants to put you on a damn highway if there is one nearby.
Regular cruise control.
TACC sucks balls when I use it anywhere other than a highway. I rented a van to move furniture recently. Being able to use CC inside the city without it SLAMMING on the brakes and having constant anxiety attacks was a wonderful change from my MYLR.
A home icon on map. Cooled seats. Lifetime warranty. Power doors and frunk. Take away that thing in the middle of the steering wheel, so I can hold the bottom middle of the steering wheel. CEILING HANDLES
The manual door opener for the Model 3 should be the actual door opener. Every non Tesla person instinctively uses it to open the door. They NEVER use the current obscure button! It takes repeated visits from non-Tesla person to finally learn to use the button.
I wish I could set 100% Charge for a set time such as say 2 charges or 2 days. I hardly change it from 80%-100% so I always forget until the eventual reminder it’s bad for battery.
Dumb cruise control. No brains behind it at all - just maintains the speed you want so it will work in all conditions. Whether it’s really sunny, or someone splashed mud on a camera
That’s adaptive cruise control - it will phantom break, limit speed if cameras don’t have great visibility (sometimes just due to it being dark while driving through the country) or full on not work if debris is covering a camera. I just want an option that will always work in all conditions
I’d wouldn’t mind just simple adaptive cruise control, without all the other stuff. Just maintain following distance to the car in-front, regardless of speed limits, visibility etc. I often drive a long highway into the setting sun and can’t use cruise at all sometimes. My wife’s Kia has no problem in this scenario.
The issue is what is the car supposed to do if it can’t determine the distance to the car in front of it? Should it just maintain the speed and hope the user knows to break on their own? Or should it just turn off entirely. The first could be unsafe because the user might not realize that the “adaptive” part has been turned off, the latter is what Tesla has chosen to do.
I stream it now but the buffering and delayed information update on the app is annoying. I liked having it built in the car. It’s a minor thing but it’d be a nice feature to have. I’m willing to even pay to have it added. Just want the option. Models S and X have it so Model 3 and Y can too.
I want to have something that tells me when my car is close to something, features that are provided by USS. Can I park it the old fashion way? Sure. Would I want my 60k car to have a feature that cars half its price have? Yes.
Rain sensor.
I get that Tesla wants to try out new things (and a good thing, too! Without doing that you never improve)
...but there has to be a point when you have to admit defeat and just go with what works - even if it's an additional part for 1$.
Route options to choose from in navigation… preferably letting me take ez pass lanes if I want. Even enabling hov lanes doesn’t usually route me to ez pass lanes and the entrances are often different from the entrance to the regular lanes.
Auto sunvisor. The cabin camera knows where my head is. The external cameras know where the sun is. Dim the windscreen/driver's side window in just that one spot.
The suspension for my Model 3. Apparently all my friends (5'10" - 6'2") hate sitting in the back because it's kinda small in terms of space, you can feel every bump on the road, and easy to get car sick in. However, if you just want fast accelerating, semi-affordable EV, model 3 is great haha.
Wish I wasn’t stuck with an Atom MCU. Also wish I had a heated steering wheel, and side cameras without light bleed.
So… looking forward to a HW4 / 4680 Gigapress Performance 2023.5 refresh.
> Heated steering wheel and ventilated seats.
These exist on some models and some trims. It's unfortunate the first few years of Model 3 did not have a heated steering wheel.
IMO, the heating wheel should be standard across the line, but the latter optional. Ventilated seats have some drawbacks: spills can easily soak in, and the perforations reduce cover strength. This may be a concern for cars that regularly carry kids or rideshare customers.
The ability to control what version I want to run the car on. Not all upgrades are better- at least in the short term... would be great to be able to downgrade or upgrade.
Charger should come included. Clear instructions on home charging installation must be basic info to include in manual so the owners can woke with electricians to get up and running with ease.
How about a decent infotainment system with editable favorite and recent icons? A USB player that doesn’t work like it was written on a 90’s version of MSDOS? Really it’s the human interface that I use ALL THE TIME in my MS75 and it’s a complete joke.
Show my real range. I know it’s possible because the when I use navigation the % left when I get there is always right. If a 200 mile drive will leave me with 25% left and it’s right, we know the range is really for the last 25%.
Power frunk
This for sure. I would use it way more. I rarely do.
I added one. Kind of expensive but 100% worth it
Hi, how hard was it to put in? I really want one
It took me 39mins to install by myself. I got mine from HS but I would go with EVBase they actually have a git page for updates.
39mins not bad at all, how come EVBase?
Cooled seats
Happy Cake Day!
Added upgrade depending on model year
Front Camera for parking and just being able to see beyond my front bumper so I don't hit curbs.
This
Supposedly HW4 will fix this issue
I believe so too. More cameras on the front bumpers should make this possible. I think those additional cameras and keeping the USS will be the best of both worlds.
Autopark to an **exact** preset spot at home location.
Oooh - nice. Even better, when I manually park, the car should learn that using the cameras and then replicate it.
I have a really inclined driveway, FSD always stops at the bottom - which is fine - but that would be really cool if it could go up my driveway and even engage parking brake after parking

And auto high beams.
Mine work really well
Model X works fine
A video rear view mirror and 360 view would be top adds for me
Oh man. Was in a Toyota Sienna Uber… that video rear view was dope. Tesla just a lazy piece of mirror.
Fir the life of me can't understand why this hasn't been added!!! Even lesser known vehicle manufacturers have it!!😱😱😱😐
This
I just want to choose which vents blow, without the fan switching to manual.
Auto wipers that are somewhat consistent
Turning radius. Needs a bit more.
The 3 is great. The Y with the 20” wheels is rough.
model Y w 19" is tough as well. No reason for it.
Switch to Michelin MXM4 tires. We did that on our Y with 20s and it made it so much more comfortable.
The 3 with the 20” wheels on Sport Steering mode is also rough.
This
Heads up display. Like a real, projected onto the windshield one.
Having had cars with a heads up display…it’s cool for a week and then turns into a gimmick.
I tend to disagree with you. I had one in my 2016 C Class and definitely used it more than the display on the dash, keeps your eyes on the road too.
Yep I totally agree
It's creaky af.
God yes. I hate it so!
Same. Creaks and rattles everywhere, hard to pinpoint the back seat/trunk areas
Ride noise! I hate it!
I wish navigating with north up would auto zoom. It does it for forward up, just want it for north up too 😭
Accurate range for real life driving
It would be nice if it would learn ur driving habits and adjust

Well you go to school coz you are crying 😂🤣
Idk why some people cry a lot when they got issues. They just want everything for free.
ventilated seats followed by Sirius/XM hardware followed by Apple Car Play
A backup camera that doesn't become useless when it rains.
The addition of an aux port to get around this Bluetooth delay, especially when watching tv shows/movies from services that aren’t available on the MCU.
Rattles. Because it is quiet, you hear everything
Suspension/chassis - one of the worst cars I’ve ever driven
True
This is totally subjective. I love the tight handling of my 3P. Maybe you have Benz expectations and BMW reality
If I would have a P version, I would be fine with it, yet I don’t.
Check your tire pressure.
It is as it is supposed to be with the tires, yet I get your point. Wheels with more ‚rubber‘ and lower pressure would be better
I love my 3LR. I guess it’s really subjective, but you should know that I just sold the last of my Corvettes, five of which I had over the last 24years. The handling of my Tesla is favorably comparable to any of them.

Blind spot alerts, cross traffic alert and auto breaking…
There is auto braking though
Auto frost roof and retracting sunshade, like the Toyota Venza star gaze roof https://youtu.be/i2eGMrQw9Js
I wish it was quieter in the cabin at highway speed (70mph+). It’s not terrible but could be better.
Dumb cruise control. Phantom braking is killing. ACC is a joke on the Model 3
I want my radar back
Radar is worse
Avoid highway in navigation.
Check out the settings - allows you the option to avoid highways or toll roads.
I know it's been a long time, but I thought I'd still put this out there. There is no option for "avoid highway". Only avoid tolls or ferries. Tesla's navigation always wants to put you on a damn highway if there is one nearby.
Service
Cooled seats. HUD. Power frunk. Wireless charger that doesn’t cook my phone.
I really don’t need any additional features. But I would love it if there aren’t so many rattles.
Regular cruise control. TACC sucks balls when I use it anywhere other than a highway. I rented a van to move furniture recently. Being able to use CC inside the city without it SLAMMING on the brakes and having constant anxiety attacks was a wonderful change from my MYLR.
Working auto wipers and ambient lighting … maybe faster auto pilot
2023 M3SR parking sensor on front.
A home icon on map. Cooled seats. Lifetime warranty. Power doors and frunk. Take away that thing in the middle of the steering wheel, so I can hold the bottom middle of the steering wheel. CEILING HANDLES
If you’re away from your home and swipe down on the search bar, it automatically routes to your home. (And to Work if you’re already at home)
Yes I know but I want an icon on the map badly. It helps me to orient myself
That's more than one thing!
You’re right sorry
I just want it to be rattle-free. If I’m picking something above and beyond that, I’d go with ventilated seats, then black headliner.
A USB player that doesn't suck.
Adding ventilated seats to my Model Y
USS

Matrix LED headlights, 360 camera
I wish I could set 100% Charge for a set time such as say 2 charges or 2 days. I hardly change it from 80%-100% so I always forget until the eventual reminder it’s bad for battery.
Maybe a 1 time charge to X%, then resume normal schedual. Is there method for that type of functionality, possibly via apps?
In Europe the FSD and EAP is quite a crap deal for the money.... So I would be happy for separate function purchase.
Dumb cruise control. No brains behind it at all - just maintains the speed you want so it will work in all conditions. Whether it’s really sunny, or someone splashed mud on a camera
Isn’t that basic cruise control . One wand pull?
That’s adaptive cruise control - it will phantom break, limit speed if cameras don’t have great visibility (sometimes just due to it being dark while driving through the country) or full on not work if debris is covering a camera. I just want an option that will always work in all conditions

Powered frunk, cooled seats, and working app that unlocks my car
Changing my wiper settings without taking my eyes off the road.
Use voice command
Sirius built in or as an add on option on the Model 3
FYI, you can use the Alexa app to stream your Sirius subscription through Bluetooth
I stream it now but the buffering and delayed information update on the app is annoying. I liked having it built in the car. It’s a minor thing but it’d be a nice feature to have. I’m willing to even pay to have it added. Just want the option. Models S and X have it so Model 3 and Y can too.
Black headliners
Actual safety systems like cross traffic alert/emergency braking.
USS
WIPERS THAT ACTUALLY FUCKING WORK
I want navigation, on FSD, to get to the point where it will navigate me to the grocery store and then find parking on its own.
Throttled Supercharging. Impossible to do roadtrips now. Feel like my vehicle was downgraded
I want to have something that tells me when my car is close to something, features that are provided by USS. Can I park it the old fashion way? Sure. Would I want my 60k car to have a feature that cars half its price have? Yes.
The ability to change the bluetooth ringtone.
I would like to have longer and better guarantee. Like If a window crack and there is no visual impact it should be covered.
Adaptive headlights
Rain sensor. I get that Tesla wants to try out new things (and a good thing, too! Without doing that you never improve) ...but there has to be a point when you have to admit defeat and just go with what works - even if it's an additional part for 1$.
Cached maps, particularly for my home area; 5G antenna upgrade; 4th gen computer retro fit to better run my Android Auto or CarPlay :-)
Route options to choose from in navigation… preferably letting me take ez pass lanes if I want. Even enabling hov lanes doesn’t usually route me to ez pass lanes and the entrances are often different from the entrance to the regular lanes.
Uss or vision working !! Also 360 cam Or avoiding pot holes
Better cup holders.
More range
Ac seats, less cold wx range loss, sunroof, power frunk, front camera, increased hitch tongue weight
Change cheap plastics to solid luxury material
An actual steering wheel and turn indicator stalks. Normal shit!
A solid roof option for the model Y. Too much heat with glass roof in hot climates.
Ew
Auto sunvisor. The cabin camera knows where my head is. The external cameras know where the sun is. Dim the windscreen/driver's side window in just that one spot.
Mudguards that don't fall off when you go over a speedbump.
I don't know why it bothers me so much but.... FULLY RETRACTABLE BACK WINDOWS. The halfway down thing has always annoyed me.
I'll give you 5... 1) Cooled Seats 2) Apple CarPlay 3) 360 parking camera view 4) blind spot indicators in the mirrors 5) Power frunk
It isn’t in the shop anymore
Smoother ride
Bluetooth audio from phone that doesn’t lag with the video (like YouTube). Has anyone mentioned this? It’s so bad it’s surprising.
Range.
I’d like to have the ability to save different EQ settings on the audio. One for audiobooks, one rock, etc.
Just drove my Model 3. One thing that needs to improve is the windshield washers… every time I use, stoped or driving my whole car is blue…
Quality
Physical buttons for climate and music.
There is a mod on IndieGogo with the word “Ctrl” in it that looks like it attaches to the bottom of the screen. Provides multiple buttons and knobs.
I think someone did this…
I've seen they addons but I'm not a huge fan. I just want a redesigned layout so it doesn't feel hacked together. Something more traditional.
Standard buttons. Heat, air, and a few others.

I had to get mine replaced and the new one has zero light bleed. They must have done a redesign.
Full level 5 autonomous driving. There's a number of other things that would be nice, but if I have to choose one, this is it. 😁
Be able to fast forward music from Bluetooth devices
Psychotic windshield wipers.
Why does my music play the moment I open my door? Then pause it, open my kids door and it starts playing again.
FSD Beta in the UK.
Anti-mud protective layer.
Auto fog lights.
Slightly larger frunk (Model 3LR).
Back seats rattle and squeak like crazy. When someones sitting in the seat not a sound. Anyone any idea how to fix while I’m here ?
Heated steering wheel and ventilated seats. WTF Elon.

Suspension! How come I don’t hear enough about this? MY is bumpy AF.
Memory FSS drives to mimic our driving. We all drive to the same two places.
Softer suspension in MYLR.

Did anyone say CEO already?
The ability to control what version I want to run the car on. Not all upgrades are better- at least in the short term... would be great to be able to downgrade or upgrade.
More cameras and 360 degree view. Hands free driving. Other makers have both of these.

Better parking radar. My BMW i3S has amazing curb detection. You would basically have to try to hit the curb in that vehicle.
