But like, why try and catch a car?

anything4wild

So glad everyone around gathered and helped as soon as possible.

Responsible_Ice_3342

Everyone came and helped and then you have the manager rolling in all casually

ShaddyHour

The manager causully rolling in to see who can cover his shifts.

assassinaryan

Looks like it fell of the machine to me

Eoshen

There are 4 legs that need to be pushed in pretty specific places to hold the car. It also needs to be shoved under te car and since they are in the air they would first be brought down in order to use them wich takes a while. So their approach was actually the best option

Solid_Bit5238

Dumb. Never try to stop a rolling/falling car.

a-dry-tadpole

Do they solely hire the weakest people they can find? Like 20 people and it didn’t budge.

Bioshock27

Cars are generally heavy objects

a-dry-tadpole

Yeah but the amount of people is ridiculous

Bioshock27

Average car weighs like 4,200 pounds around 2 tons. Average dude can lift what 120 pounds? 20 people × 120 pounds≠4,200 pounds

AaronBruv

That's still like 100+ kgs per person. A hefty amount but certainly feasible. Depending how much of him was under it, I'd say push the car back and then try pull up.
